    How did the mulching go over the summer. I mulch or big lawn and have done this few years. Problem is walking on it if damp. U walk the clipping into the house. Plus u have to do it a lot more often for me it’s every 4 or 5 days. In the Uk the grass box might be the only option

      Hello Marcus, your right. If it’s dry and you mow regularly mulching is great.
      On fortnightly cuts when the grass is wet it can be a challenge.
      All the best.👍🏻

    is strimming the edges a hard skill to pick up or is it fairly easy?

    Nice job buddy. Looks like you chose the ideal garden to mulch on. The grass wasn't so long to start with and it was dry. Perfect! Regarding the mower. You've bought quality. Say no more! As you know I opted for the Weibang. But that's not to put Honda down. Quality machines. Absolutely no doubt about it. I might be in the market for a new blower. My current one has asthma. It wheezes more than blows. But it's a 4 stroke and I like 4 stroke kit. Quieter, less buzzy and more economical. So I'd be looking at replacing it with another 4 stroke. Any ideas?
    Congratulations on your channel numbers. As I predicted. There on the up 👍

    Do you scarify? Many thanks

    • @maxwellsgrasscuttingservices
      @maxwellsgrasscuttingservices  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes mate I do, usually at the beginning of the season or a light scarify during the mid season.
      However my einhel scarifier gave up the go earlier in the year and is beyond repair.
      I am considering buying the Stihl rl 540 next April , 2022 tax year and for the 2022 new season.
      I don’t get that many requests for it, however I don’t advertise a scarifier service. I should push it more.
      Hope that helps.
      Rob👍🏻

    Hi, I've just started up..
    I've come across a slight problem living in Wales. Hills, which mean steps lol
    These petrol lawnmowers are a nightmare to carry up steep steps.
    I am considering a battery powered lawnmower, just for the tricky gardens. Any thoughts ?
    Great job btw.

      Adam Davies.
      Hope Rob doesn't mind me answering this. Quick tip for mowing Hills. Mow from side to side. Not up and down. Generally speaking petrol mowers don't like steep hills. If you go for a battery mower. Then bear in mind the average run time for each battery. On average, in perfect cutting conditions. About 90 mins. You could end up buying A LOT of batteries?

      @adamdavies5174 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@funkyduckproductions.8844 thank you for the reply.. The problem I have is, getting the lawnmower up the steep steps.. I could use a strimmer but I want that clean finish 🤷

    • @funkyduckproductions.8844
      @funkyduckproductions.8844 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@adamdavies5174 it's always going to be tricky. Either carry some long planks of wood and have a heavier petrol mower. Or go for the lighter battery option and multiple batteries

    • @adamdavies5174
      @adamdavies5174 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@funkyduckproductions.8844 I would only use the battery mower for tricky gardens. But it's still quite an expense.
      I Appreciate the advice

      Hello Adam. I bought a 16 inch petrol Webb lawnmower off Facebook market place for £70. It was almost new, only weighs 23 kg, it’s very easy to climb up and down awkward step. Here in Tyne and Wear we have lots of hills and valleys. It’s not the best mower but is ok for a couple of jobs where access is an issue.
      I hope that helps , thanks for watching. 👍🏻
