    This was super helpful!!! My massage therapist works those knots big time particularly in my left shoulder blade and a few areas. Super painful but it goes away when she does her magic.

    Man you are the best teacher on TH-cam. You are not just doing this job for make a living. So passionate and professional. I am done with schooling in two months my teacher is so bad he had never worked as a therapist he did schooling just for his education business. I am so stressed now but I am trying to overcome that stress watching your videos now. I really want to be a LMT who can really help clients.

    I'm currently in massage school and your videos have been so informative. You address so many different questions, some of which I didn't even think of, in such a clear, concise, scientifically accurate way.

    • @camajespa
      @camajespa 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Although we can account years of surprising and good results (centuries, and milleniums) unfortunately, we can not use "scientifically" for massage... a fact, to be called "scientific", has to be proven by a scientifically method which is almost impossible to realize with the massage (just think of placebo group... impossible!) I think that's why we often hear ideas that everybody accept for years and suddenly, 20 years later, they say it's no longer true... always be careful with where the information comes from!

    There is NOT a build up of lactic acid, that is bro science vocabulary
    There is a build up of neurouinflammitory mediators such as substance P, bradykinin, histamines et al.
    Dry needling is one of the most effective ways to remove chronic muscle trigger points

    • @Themanwhocameback2
      @Themanwhocameback2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What a pretentious twit you are! Do you think anyone reading these comments knows what bradykinin o or substance P is? Let him say lactic acid. They may have some vague idea that that is not good.

    • @eppystein2953
      @eppystein2953 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Themanwhocameback2 I think that people can easily Google bradykinin and substance P.
      The fact that this guy went too school and they taught him that "lactic acid" builds up in trigger points says alot about the education of massage therapists.
