- See how I decorated for Christmas this year using all vintage and thrifted items. After this Christmas my family and I will be moving to our new house in the spring. This is our last Christmas here, and the last Christmas this 100 year old house will see. The adventure continues though, as we share with you how we decorate our new house for coming holidays. We do need to renovate, and we will share that with you as well. It's going to be fun!

Nice tour! I actually have that Santa in a box that says Season Greetings. You can't see it, but there is a drawer at the bottom of the box and when you pull it out, Santa actually dances. Cute!
Love the Tom and Jerry sets, I have never seen the sleigh one before...

I'm watching this a little late as I just rencently found your channel. That splatter bell tray with the old fashioned candies sure makes me nostalgic. My grandmother used to set those out every Christmas on her bar area along with what I think was a Hong Kong plastic tree with fruit. I used to think it was so hokie as a teenager but what I wouldn't give to see it again.
Those candies remind me of my grandma as well. We, as kids, would pick out certain candies and leave the rest. Now, I like them all. Grandma's house always had such good memories.Thank you so much for sharing.

Where do you find the big old fashioned Christmas lights that are on your tree, that do not get so hot? I bought some on Amazon, put them on my tree and they got SO HOT that I took them off immediately for fear of a fire. Your house is really beautiful!
Hi Sheila. My lights get hot as well. They only are safe on real trees. I also check my tree every day to make sure it's still fresh. I have never found lights like these that don't get hot.
