- Join us as we tour a house hoarded Full of antiques and vintage before the estate sale begins. This house was packed full of beautiful antiques and unique vintage items from Victorian, art deco and even Mid Centry modern decorations. The contents were from a collector who began when he was 14 years old. This home was purchased solely to store the collection and never lived in.

The large copper pot is called a copper boiler. They were used for washing clothes and canning. You guys are super cute!

A friend had one as her recycling bin and the person watching her house while she was on vacation put it out for the trucks and they took it. 😕
My grandmother had one in her basement that got lots of use in canning season over her very old gas stove. 😊

Oh thats heaven. Would lock myself in for a month just to organize and sort the stuff being happy with antique things. Not because of value just because they are so interesting.
This is an amazing amount of stuff. Breaks my heart to see that valuable stuff getting rained and snowed on.
Selena, this place is like you and Pete stepped into a dimension back in time and there is so many amazing finds.
The big copper tubs are for washing clothes, they could heat the water .. canning foods .. baby baths
They were called a copper boilers. I have my grandmother's.
I was thinking dying yard or cloth. So it’s washing clothes. I watch a lot of vlogs in France and they love copper.

This was an amazing sale but it also made me sad. So much getting damaged out in the elements. Hope the weather clears and everything finds a good home with someone who will love it ❤
My mom got me into antiques. She sadly passed away almost a year ago but she would have loved this sale. So many treasures to find! I love watching you and your mom going to sales but is also a treat to see you and your husband checking out this lifetime worth of collections.

Homes from the Victorian era had pink,blue and yellow bathroom fixtures.Then in the 1950's avacoda green became popular and blue and pink toilets were very popular.
Many of the post civil war homes were furnished with lots of French and Italian decore.
This was an exciting tour

You and Pete are such a handsome couple! I love that he goes with you to these sales....not all hubbys do that, which is okay, but I love that he loves you so much that he goes along! Underneath, I'm thinking he does have a good time, too!! Lol!! So the hoard...AMAZING!!! I would be just like you, overwhelmed, but having such a great time trying to see everything!! How nice of you to go over to help these folks...you really made it easier to SEE what's there than the way it was previously...nice job. You had to be in 7th Heaven discovering all the goodies you didn't know were even there! That sofa with the tassels, VERY COOL! And with reversible cushions!!?? What?? Okay, I've had such fun with you during this video....thank you sooooo much for sharing it! Can't wait to see MORE!!!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly the wicker laundry baskets were one of my favorite things and the really old mixing bowls you set up in a display. I loved how Teresa asked Pete's name. So sweet of you to go help out. I'm sure they were grateful and you brought some renewed energy with your positive happiness. Wow! So many amazing finds! That Barbie looked like one of the original ones. I think the one I had as a child was from around 1960. My favorite find here was the pedestal sink; my grandparents had that one in their Jersey shore home. I can almost smell the beach and the scents from their home......

Wow, that a gold mine of memories. It is too bad, they had so much of everything, and no room to spread it out to enjoy their founded treasures, even though no one lived in the house. FYI, the long metal pots with lids were used to put on 2 elements on the stove and boil your whites to get them clean. I also used them to collect snow and boil the water for a hot bath when we had no water in the winter
I can't imagine more than 4 people at a time.

Check out the March 4, 2023 video of a Cult of Vintage. The grape chandelier is something you would love and Pete would have to install. Pete is such a sweetheart to go picking with you. You did a beautiful job styling parts of those rooms. I am a retired antique dealer and I also did Estate Sales for many years. Your time is never your own and in the end your back will regret every minute spent hauling antiques around. Please don’t ever stop doing your wonderful videos. Keep things just as they are. I love your decorating inspirations and travel adventures with Pete. Your marriage and sanity will suffer if you start to invest in an antique booth or store. As Pete mentioned, “That’s your thing.” Your freedom and time will just disappear when you are tied to booth or store management.

Laughed so hard at Pete's face at the beginning when you said ...collector/hoarder ladies stuff"..... Gee whiz! How many kerosene lamps were in there!? About a hundred in first room and scattered throughout all other spaces! Just started collecting those....so really caught my eye. When Pete said probably walking past something people are screamin that he missed.....just as camera scanned old metal pickup truck toy. I'm dyin!! Love from Texas❤
