I did this on my automatic ‘05 legacy GT a few weeks ago after installing a catless up pipe, it worked up until today and now my sports mode, cruise control and check engine lights are all flashing. Do you know what the fix to this could be? I used the 2.2k .5w ohm resistor, do I need to clear the codes? Take it to a shop to get tuned for the mod? Appreciate any help!
@@unseasonedprojectcars6898 I did the resistor trick and it worked for almost a year but today it stopped working for the o2 sensor, and today i got these new Spacers for the sensors they work great no lights on the dash working perfect.👍
The other light that is on , Is the Fuel low light and Do not let your fuel gauge go that low as to it can Blow your Fuel Electric Pump in the Tank big dollars to replace,
@@unseasonedprojectcars6898 I'm curious seeing how it's been a year since this post, how long has the sensor bypass worked? I'm replacing the up pipe on a bugeye wagon with the same issue, new up pipe has no spot for the egt sensor and considering this route.

Its been a while since I worked on Subaru I googled resister mod for my xt at the time
What are the little things at the ends of the resistor wire? Did you coil them?
Where can I find one of these mods I search it up on google and it shows me to those car group chats
You can order the resistor off Amazon or eBay. type of resistor should be in the video

how many resistors would I need as my 02 sensor has 4 wires.
I haven't done it for o2 sensor at least not yet
Best to replace o2 if it has a problem

Lol it had been sitting for half a year and just got it running again. But i try not to let it get under half a tank

Still works til this day and sold the car no cel till this day. If r resistor goes bad CeL will come back just replaced the resistor
