Max fuel temp is 130c, tried a bunch of resistors and the ecu wont read over 130. I think its best to stay just below this as sometimes the ecu doesnt like the sensor being maxed and will sense a fault putting it back to the default temp of 40c 👍
@@JoshsJettasgot it, i’ve just done this on my brm, little bit of smoke when you first get into it, however the values in vcds are way different, can’t find anything related to EGR Flow but then again mines gone and unplugged, however maf flow is maxed out and so is fuel temp, slightly noticeable increase in power, just looking for a way to blow some more smoke lol
The ecu uses maf flow to judge how much egr is being introduced. It also uses the maf as a fuel limiter but on the brm it might use the lambda sensor in the exhaust.
Tried out the mod and I’m having an issue where I step on the accelerator and it sounds like it’s flooding with too much fuel before it figures its shit out, anyone know if this is common?
Yes it's common because this is a bad way to "tune" a diesel. Evry mod can burn valves with time or kill your head with high cylinder temperatures.. Get a proper tune and all of that becomes a non issue
No the smoke limiter has the ultimate say. The fuel sensor might be saying inject 30mg/str but if the fuel limiter says I only want 20 that’s all it gets. I’m not familiar with that engine but you might be needing a tune
@@JoshsJettasI bought a reader and can see that the exhaust gas recirculat(actual) also jumped to 1275 but my exhaust gas recirculat(spec) won’t jump any higher

All I want to know is, how do I get rid of the hot start delay on the PD BEW with VCDS?
I would also like to see how you can make your own tune for the PD engines please!
I responded to Riley but I definitely can, it’ll be a lengthy one though
I managed to pull an 8.5 second 0 to 60 mph with the diode and resistor
Would love to see a video on hiw you made your own tune.
I wasn’t going to but I can whip a video up, I’ll warn you it will get lengthy
@@JoshsJettaswhat software did you use
EDCmasterHP, it’s for a free 1 month demo then it’s something like 10€ a month. Finds all the maps automatically
Are you able to install a mod on a 2013 Jetta TDI?
شكرا على المعلومات القيمة ❤
By doing the evry mod, will it affect the injector deviation?? I have cyl 4 injector deviation at 1.27 mg/ str and cyl 2 at 0.87
I imagine so, your telling it that it needs more fuel then it actually needs.
Is this Deleted or is everything still in place? trying this out on my brm. seems to be working but not as much smoke as i was hoping for
Completely stock

What Diode and resistors did you use?
Do you plug them back in with the diode and resistor or leave them hang?
Nope leave it unplugged
I bought a 15sq045 diode will that work?
The diode and resistor does not work on DSG cars it’s slower with a diode versus without a diode and just the resistor
On a brm Jetta? It might use the lambda/O2 sensor as the smoke limiter
@ it was a 05 bug with the bew and DSG transmission.
Would there be a way to put it on a switch to turn it on and off or just have to pull it out when you don’t want it
I would imagine a switch inline would work, then switch it off which would make an open circuit and default at 40C
I have the same motor and used the same resistor and diode but it wont idele and shuts off but its completely stock no deletes
I’d use a scanner and see what it’s saying maybe try dialing the fuel temp resistor back a but
Hey,Josh. I was wondering if you received email from our team. We reached out to you twice and no response from you yet
I cant get it to work on my Bjb engine i used the same diode and tried down to 37 r and it just runs the same
It must have a different smoke limiter, some use the maf sensor and some are lambda based
@@JoshsJettasHow can I change that. But wouldn’t my engine still smoke if I used a 37 ohms in the fuel sensor

Is this bad for the motor? And also is that the stock exhaust?
Depends how you use it
I have used mine for 5 years no problems sometimes even on max settings i have 200 ohm resostor and 1kohm potentiometer

Yes sir
@@JoshsJettas what area are you around ? I'm getting ready to do a ALH tdi swap on my 07 City Golf rally car build
Sorry I meant what wattage?
100 ohm resister for the fuel temp sensor and 1n4148 diode for the maf
@@JoshsJettasare these the best ones for the pd 1.9tdi? I'd like my car to smoke as much as possible😂
hi i have same engine but when i put that in maf sensor car rougth idle! and i check i conect all good but car shaking a lot!! haaha
