    Thank you dearest!!!
    I was pulling my hear off to try to find this in the GlobalTIS!!!
    Having fault code P0234 in 2010 Opel - and during weekend I was thinking of checking vacuum leaks and turbo wategate - and tomorrow ring Opel to fins out if the car has the latest software update.
    You dont happen to know if there is some list out there to know what the latest software updates are named?

    Thanks, my BMW e70 3.0 diesel EGT shows 15kohms at room temperature. Does anybody have original temperature chart? it is NTC sensor

    My Volkswagen post-dpf sensor shows 220 ohms at room temperature and works perfectly. They are not all the same

    One of the exhaust gas temperature sensors in my ram EcoDiesel is reporting -40 degrees Fahrenheit even though it is 70° outside. What the heck?

    Hey mate on my scanner my two exhaust temp sensors say 80 dergees celcius when car is cold is this normal? They do rise though when car heats up.

    Testing mine on my mercedes e220 2015.... reading only show when multimeter is setted to 2k and not 200m like in your video ...and when i use a heat gun the numbers will go up very slow instead then down. Any advice? Ta

    is the sensor shown that decreases resistense a pre-dpf/cat or a post dpf/cat sensor .... tia ...............

    Ok so be careful. If you buy cheap and not original main dealer you can easily find the computer in the vehicle not like the new sensor. Im using a fluke 88v multimeter. Auto ranging. It came back after testing my brand new sprinter exhaust temp sensor saying the value was 210.9 k and the one it replaced was way different in a different range on the meter too. I have just take one of these sensors apart to see how they work inside. Interesting

    my sensor is jumping from 7-17 ohm when ccar is turned off, is it bat? i would say so

      Hi swd, the values of the sensors shown in the video should be in kΩ or MΩ. Follow the instructions on how to test these sensors, and good luck with the testing!

    what does it mean when ohms increase when i heat the sensor

    • @NiterraEMEA
      @NiterraEMEA  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi George! Could you please clarify? It is said that the resistance decreases when it comes to a temperature rise. Best, your NGK & NTK team

      I have this issue also; as I hear the sensor with the heat gun the resistance increases? Should I replace the sensor?

    • @NiterraEMEA
      @NiterraEMEA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi @@TheBman25, the video describes the NTK EGTS sensors, which are NTC.
      The resistance of NTC gets LOWER when the temperature gets higher.
      In your case, and probably George's as well, PTCs are used: The resistance gets HIGHER when the temperature gets higher.

    mie îmi dă aceeași eroare, g235, am verificat cu multimetru. Totul este in regulă. Deci ce ar trebui să fac? Să schimb ce? Am verificat și pe celălalt senzor portocaliu sau maro cu multimetru, la fel...e totul în regulă, cu toate că acela ar trebui să dea cred g236. Așadar de ce-mi apare pe tester p0546 g235 short to plus intermitent. Dacă nu rezultă nimic la multimetru , da , îl schimbam, dar așa de dragul de a da 800lei ... :( Am mare nevoie de răspunsul vostru va rog.

      @mari0mari0mari0 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DJSTM02 da, acel senzor de temperatură gaze evacuare. Așa se numește. E cel negru. L-am schimbat cu unul aftermarket și merge de rupe. La multimetru totuși îmi apărea că-mi merge dar de fapt nu era așa...

    Like everyone is supposed to be able to read this chart. It really has nothing to do with my vehicle. Why is it bunched in with the sprinter??

    • @garethhorner470
      @garethhorner470 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every sensor is different, you have to google your specific sensor specs. If he displayed the charts for every sensor on every vehicle the video would be years long.

      @@garethhorner470 and how do I know my specific sensor information??

    • @garethhorner470
      @garethhorner470 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ltsgarage7780 Find out the sensor part number, which will be on the sensor and Google it, suppliers usually have a download link for the specification of the sensor on the sales Web page. If that doesn't work try contacting the sensor manufacturer with a part number and ask for a resistance/temperature chart.
      If you're struggling send me an inbox and I'll give it a shot. Cheers.
