    Great review video. I'm looking at possibly purchasing this lift desk and was checking out reviews. One question I have was in regards to the assembly. Was it difficult or was it a quick assembly?

      Thanks I'm glad you liked the video. It's not too difficult, it helps having two people. I think it took me from 30 to 45 minutes with my wife.

    Great video...I was mostly concerned with sturdiness especially where the extension connects. Sounds like it's pretty solid though.
    You mentioned getting errors if you don't have the weight distributed, but it looks like 80% of the weight on one side of yours no?

    • @UltratecJS
      @UltratecJS  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's definitely solid. Well the way I have it in the video having only monitors on one side is not a big deal but at one point I had the two monitors plus the desktop on the right side. That would cause the issues, if I moved the desktop to the opposite end there were no issues.

    Hey Jesse thanks for the video! Couple quick questions on the desk since Im debating between an L shaped and the 80" straight desk
    The cable management basket underneath is that an aftermarket part or did you get it from Uplift?
    having used the desk size you have now would you still order this size again? Or would you have gone bigger/smaller?

    • @UltratecJS
      @UltratecJS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, I'm glad you liked the video! I'm using a combination of cable management trays, one is from Uplift and the rest are from Amazon. Let me find links later on today so I can post it here. If you have the room, I would definitely get the L shaped one. I have a co-worker who got the straight one and he regrets not getting the L one.

    Hi did you like the desktop? Is it to soft to write on a paper? Get scratches easily?

    • @UltratecJS
      @UltratecJS  ปีที่แล้ว

      I love the desktop to type and write with pen and paper. It is easily scratched but if you are using something pointy like a screwdriver, a pointy edge from a monitor arm, or a drill, it will not get scratched with normal use.

    Do you recommend to get a real wood instead of the laminated one?

    • @UltratecJS
      @UltratecJS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can protect it and not scrape your stuff on top like I did, you will be fine. Whatever your budget allows for.

      @@UltratecJS thank you.
      Another option I was thiking of was to buy solid Butcher block from home depot and just install the standing frame. Lot cheaper but still read wood.
      Any thought?

    • @UltratecJS
      @UltratecJS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rsadeghian It’s technically possible but the tops they bring are engineered to fit perfectly with the frames. You might not be happy with the fit unless you are really good with the measuring and cutting. I did something like that with an ikea electric frame and a butcher block. It was okay but the uplift is just perfection.
