Last month, I picked up an UPLIFT Standing Desk for my home office. This thing is great for both working from home and gaming. I didn't know much about good brands for standing desks and I really just took a chance on this. Turns out I did pretty good researching!
(P.S. - I know there's a drop frame in this video...I could not fix this one. I had no idea why it kept doing it in the export 😅)
Wow it looks awesome, I would like to buy one but unfortunately I have a problem with the space in my apartment 😑
Just bought man, can't wait. I used to have a standing desk in the office, and I get sciatic pain if I sit too long, so this will hopefully improve my life.

Great review! I ended up purchasing a 70 x 30 uplift desk for my craft room. They shipped it out within 2 business days. Just waiting for one more box to arrive to assemble this baby.

@@indkeith T frame (it’s fine to rest your legs on them, not the comfiest tho), keypad with numbered presets, magnetic cable strip, mountable surge protectors.
Separately I bought an Ergotron monitor arm for my ultrawide and Elgato mic/camera mounts. All the accessories mount perfectly.

When you sit at the desk, is the commercial cross bar in the way for your feet? Im wondering between the standard or one with stability bar , not sure if its annoying or not, thanks!

Any reason you went with the commercial over the non-commercial? I can't seem to find any reviews over wobble test between the 2.

@@samueljeyanessan8353 Yes, exactly what I said when I saw the rate that people are getting 😷, and obviously the time it takes to get better. But when someone gets better someone else's just barely getting sick. At least thank goodness vaccines are out, and I am not as scared as I was without it.

Your video sold me on getting one, if you read this and feel like answering. The stand your monitors on, was it an option or something aftermarket? I'm only seeing metal monitor stands on their configurator. Love the way your looks.

Hey, thanks for this great review. Curious if you think the smaller sizes would be able to be flipped over on your own - you mentioned the install was easy to do solo, until the very end, on the 60” desk?

Do you wish you got the 72” desk? Are you happy with the 60”?
I’m totally fine with the 60”. It’s perfect for me, the work that I do and the space that it’s in. I personally think 72” is too big but it depends on what you are doing and how big of a space you have for it

Ergonomically unnecesary. If you have adjustable monitor height, chair height, and desk height, you won't need one!

It appears *’Uplift Desk’* products are much more expensive than *’Autonomous Desk’* products...my question isn’t which is the better investment but in fact which product is better???🤔

I have no experience with the Autonomous Desk so I can't be a judge on that but the UPLIFT V2 is fantastic! It's very solid and stable with the crossbar running across like FK P said.
now look @ what you did, you gave me hope & now I'm more frustrated cause with autonomous the L shape desk is cheaper than uplift. I'm frsutrated cause now the L shape is going to barely fit in my tiny computer room. In all seriousness thanks I never knew someone offered the L shape cheaper.
nice video! is the included wire tray able to hold a power strip + say 2 power bricks (1 for pc and 1 for monitor)? i don't mind paying for the longer version but that one requires drilling...
Thanks for the video. If you have a smith machine or a rack system for working out. I just moved my adjustable bar holder for squats and placed a piece of plywood on it. I almost spent 600 on the desk but this works amazingly. Anyone with a smith machine I highly suggest you give it a shot. I have mine in my computer/weight room already so worked perfectly. Takes me about 30 seconds to remove the light piece of plywood and move my bar holder(the thing the plywood rests on) to either standing of sitting height. Sooo that hapened.
Hey Raymond, can you share what made you decide to go with the commercial frame instead of the home office frame? I'm trying to determine if the commercial frame has less wobble or not.

How you liking it now? I just ordered the same size you got.
If I lean on both my shoulders at the edge of this desk, it bends quite a lot downward. All my screws are very tight. It's even noticeable at the lowest height with just my hands on the desk, but this part is negligible. If I was in US, I would likely do a return, but I'm in Canada and I already threw half of my boxes. Definitely a vibe killer for me and I would maybe prefer a wobble instead of a bend.
@pili pili it feels as if it's bending, but after looking at it closely I can see that the whole top is tilting downward as a whole, and I notice it in the upper portion of the leg as well. I'm assuming it's coming from inside the legs as everything that is screwed together moves together. It just happens if you put a lot of pressure directly on the edge of the front desk, while standing up, which I do a lot with my elbows probably because of fatigue.

I see so many of these affordable standing desks. While they have a good frame I hear the desk top can be low quality. Did yours get many scratches in the months since this review?

Not all! If you’re standing it’s out of the way, if you’re sitting it’s a great leg rest.
Would have appreciated better lighting through the video rather than the dim ambience with accent.
Why the F are there scratches on the legs? It looks like the motion damages them. I was ready to shell out $1,500 until I saw that.
Why are you so adamant on saying "invested" in the desk instead of saying you purchased it with your own money? Did you purchase this desk with your own money with no kick backs from the desk maker? I'm pessimistic and see deceit often times where it's not, but please tell us.
