I mean move the desk to the side with the lan jack. Additionally either get some longer DP cables and a usb hub and you can put it on either side.

You could open up that phone jack and check to see if it's wired with cat5e. Most houses built in the last 20 years will use cat5e for phone and data. All you would have to do is trace the other end of the cable and rewire it with an rj45 keystone on both ends and connect it to your network switch. It's most likely terminated to a telephone punch down block in your basement or wherever all your phone, data and cable tv lines are run, usually next to the electrical panel. Since most people don't need a phone jack in every room, it's pretty common to switch those over for wired ethernet use.

I personally would have the pc on the extension for the pc and move the monitors around to where the pc is currently
the carbonized bamboo is a sweet tabletop texture i might look into uplift i really need to upgrade from ikea -_- raid shadow legends actually looks sick too, omg i just realised the standing desk is a sick way to manage cables without getting fatigued!

You should get a thunderbolt 3 expansion card and the elgato thunderbolt dock
Well, I watched this as just got my emails telling me that my L Shaped Desk in in many boxes and on the way
I went this the CPU box that hangs under the desk, thus the location does not take up desktop area and cables are under the table
Should it be possible to mount it in the corner it will be even more out of the way
I got the 80 x 78 so work space should not be an issue and I use 4 monitors for work (3 Landscape and 1 Prorate =LLLP)
I went with two power grommets as they also have cable pass through opening and the Power Hub with 4 USB plugs
This way I can change my iPhone, iWatch, and both my full size and mini iPads
I got the Keyboard Tray, but thinking about it I am not sure it I will end up using it, I am so used to having my keyboard a t take level now
Hardwood floors basically required me to get the Soft Roll Casters
I can not wait

I found the video jerky, wish the camera was held steady a bit longer when taking viewing angles. In any event glad the desk is working out.

If you suffer from back pain, 2K is nothing. I have the original uplift laminate desk from when Uplift first came out and it is Feb 2024 and still rock solid. I've even moved it around to a few houses/apartments, so it has seen some tough times. Going back to what one should pay for a desk, How much is your back worth to you ?

I'd avoid this company; really bad customer service. Basically if you
place an order, you just have to hope and pray that eventually they'll
ship you something. The shipping time frames they give on their web site
are meaningless. And a 7-year warranty is only meaningful if they'll
still be around - which is questionable based on how they treat
customers.

Its a video about a desk- not even marked as a review, more an impression than anything. I don't feel he needs to plan out every video like a Hollywood production. I would much rather watch something honest and off the cuff than something structured and robotic. To each his own though
