Thank you for this. I'm making home made lentil soup right now and having chopped broccoli on the side. I'll drink a 6 oz glass of pomegranite juice with my meal. I'm eating all the foods you mentioned.
I've watched some videos from Simon Hill's channel. He invites a lot of professors/ researchers that run a lot of these food studies. Many of his guests are vegans or vegetarians. One of his guests said he is vegan, but he has yogurt for breakfast. He said yogurt is the only dairy that doesn't cause cancer, based on scientific research.
I've read that as an ovarian cancer patient, these foods could help with the surgical menopause. So I will say, adding the groundflax to my breakfast has been excellent for getting my bowels better!! And weirdly i started CRAVING edamame and lentils through my whole treatment! Interesting.
Could you please make a video about dairy consumption and breast cancer? I second the comment below asking for it. I bought cottage cheese after your advice. It has low fat and high protein. But in ingredients parts, it says ''frischkase'' in German. Frischkase is translated as ''cream cheese'' to English.I am not sure if I am doing the right thing when I eat cheese including 'cream cheese' cause in one of the articles I read on the internet, it is written that ''cheddar and cream cheese increases risk of breast cancer''..Does cottage cheese include cream cheese then? I am very confused.
I wouldn't eat soy sugar or dairy i will say im guilty of taking bites but dont do it often and if its something i really want only one bite and walk away!..I try hard to stay away from all those things but its not easy so yes just a bite i hope maybe soon i can finally just say no to soy sugar dairy!.. i eat a vegetarian diet mostly now!.. Breat Cancer estrogen positive...
I don’t agree with you on eating soy and flaxseed. I developed estrogen positive after consuming these foods over a period of time. No thanks but I’ll stay away from those foods.
I would like to add that soy and other foods high in phytoestrogens may not be safe for all breast cancer survivors. I am a scientist and studied the effects of certain foods on endogenous hormone levels. I am a DES daughter which means I (like millions of other women) was exposed to high levels of a synthetic estrogen while my mother was pregnant with me. As an adult, whenever I ate a meal containing high phytoestrogens, it would cause uterine bleeding. These phytoestrogens did in fact exert estrogenic effects (perhaps through higher expression of estrogen receptors from DES exposure). DES exposure increases the risk of breast cancer - which I was diagnosed with this year. So I'm a bit concerned when I hear that phytoestrogens can be safely consumed by all women after having breast cancer.

Should we talk about eating organic soy, for non- organic soy is GMO?

Most recent literature has consistently disproven this. Although historical was a thought, it has been consistently shown to be wrong.
