I believe my Cancer recurrance was stress related after my best friend died. Because we were close friends we were friends for 38 years. I don't buy drinks at Starbuck's anymore. I am now trying to not eat or drink anything that I shouldn't all the time. I only drink alcohal once in awhile but not to excess. Like you said being overweight raises your risk of Cancer. What I have a hardtime giving up is chocolate. I'm a chocolate lover. So I try to limit my intake of it.

You should look up Dr. Seyfried.
According to Dr. Seyfried Cancer is a metabolic disease and I agree.
Basically anytime you eat sugar or carbs especially processed carbs you are feeding the cancer cells.
Dr. Seyfrieds research found that Cancer has 2 fuels Glucose and glutamine.
Dr. Seyfried recommends a keto diet to stop the glucose and have our bodies be in ketosis so we mainly have ketones for energy.
Also there are ways to lower glutamine through fasting.
Ever since I was diagnosed I now make my own everything.
You can make your own Chocolate keto style.
Look in the baking aisles of most grocerie stores.
You can make even better Chocolate 100 pct cacao.
The closest sweetner to sugar that I have found is the combo of allulose and erithrotol. Both have been tested safe to use and it does not raise blood sugar.
God bless you. Hope all works out.

Italians eat professed meat like in Sardinia but they become centenarians. I think it's the stress, bread and preservatives that causes cancer. Most of the food in Canada and US have preservatives.

Never meant ur lucky to have cancer, but ur forunate to recover completely after it had spread, some dont. Sounds like ur an overachiever! But people like me, yourself and others r so blessed to have modern medicine to rid ourselves of Cancer!🥳🥳🥳🎂🎂 Actually I've just started feeling much better after 3 yrs of my Laproscopic surgery . For lots of women it's difficult to keep the weight down and be fit. But Cancer hits lots of people even marathon runners who eat healthy. There's a lot to do with the gut micobiome thats just being discovered. Anything like femine products aren't sterile, made in a factory, they could contribute to cancer. When u sweat and all that bacteria hangs around down there. Look at talcum powder that caused cancer. When u get in ur mid fifties all of a sudden ur feeling like ur a grandma, aches and pains and exhaustion some days. You can relate to some extent since having cancer, but not the old lady feeling and aging backwards.

I use wine for cooking and nothing else. I'll put it in tomato sauce and cook it until all the alcohol is gone (hours for a good pasta sauce!) . But here's a trick - if you don't have that much time, saute the garlic and tomato paste, and just before you put the tomatoes in, put in the wine and cook it way down - not enough to scorch it but enough to drive off the alcohol. Then put the tomatoes in, stock or water, and cook. You'll have the wine flavor without the alcohol. It doesn't taste as great as a long-cooked sauce, but for primavera this works fine.

I gave up meat and chicken altogether but I eat vegan veggie burgers, tofu hot dogs and Morningstar farm sausage patties which are soy protein. I know they are all high sodium which is bad but do they increase my risk of cancer recurrence ? They are still processed foods. On the plus side they don't have nitrates. They add a way for vegetarians to get their protein which is why I eat them.

Remember she says "stop buying" as in regular, but maybe occasional consumption on special occasions- but no stocking up or buying.
1/ 1:05 - all processed meats - disappointing to me since I loved corned beef .
2/ 3:50 - Sodas and soft drinks - never drank them since I was a teenager when some friends of mine put a couple of pennys into a certain popular cola, and it dissolved with a few days.
3/ 6:37 - Tobacco and cigarettes - everybody knows this one.
4/ 7:00 -Starbucks drinks - certain ones have large amount of hidden sugars - would apply to all coffee and fast food outlets as well.
5/ 9:11 - 911? Really? Interesting number. - Alcohol - avoid daily consumption if possible, myself, I do things one is not supposed to do with red wine, like adding water, and sometimes ice cubes, and I drink a lot less of it.
    Best of luck.

Everything was correct on processed meats except for bacon....bacon is simply sliced pork belly cured in salt. Now there may be some products that ultra process it and you need to pay attention to this, but a lot of bacon if you pay attention is totally okay to eat, not to mention is loaded with B vitamins and has a perfect 1:1 protein to fat ratio. In addition, our body makes nitrates so don't let the nitrate label scare you, it's like cholesterol, people are so scared of it due to what our quack doctors have learned in school by the medical establishment but our bodies create cholesterol so nitrates have gotten a bad wrap much like cholesterol. But as far as the other ultra processed deli meats...absolutely stay away unless you can find one that is pure quality with quality ingredients which means it won't last as long. Just stay with whole food meats, even better if you can get 100% grass fed ruminant meat, pasture raised eggs, wild caught fish, pasture raised poultry and pork all without the hormones, steroids and antibiotics!!!

I quit eating processed meats I don't eat bacon anymore or hotdogs at at all. I eat chicken once in awhile without the fat & the skins. Then I cut out red meat not just because of Cancer. But because my cholesterol was too high. I quit the soft drinks because of it making my belly bloat worse. Because of the carbonation.

Excuse me there I just want to let you know if it's grass-fed grass-finished an organically processed which is a completely different process you can have processed meats but they must be rasped grass-finished and organically processed the preservatives that they use in the kind of process meat I'm talking about which is grass-fed grass finished is like Himalayan salt which is healthy and lowers blood pressure natural citric acid organic celery salt smoking any smokehouse and the other way for processing is once it's grass-fed grass-finished organically processed use to get in your freezer these kind of meats are perfectly healthy can I have absolutely no junk in them nothing but health benefits but the stuff you would find in the store that's another story unless it's a store that carries grass-fed grass finish meats that are cold cuts the weather be cold cuts or hot dogs or whatnot as long as your grass fed grass finish that's all that matters

If you have cancer why would you stop everything you love to eat , why would you not want to enjoy your life while you still can , stopping everything will not make the cancer go away just slow it down. So enjoy your life and stop stressing about the little things . This is from someone that has cancer .

Ezekiel bread is excellent, not made with flour, instead it is organic sprouted grains, very healthy and low glycemic. I eat it daily. My Oncologist is totally impressed that I eat Plant-based, whole foods, high fiber, low fat, low protein, no sugar or processed foods or alcohol and use filtered water from my Berkey. I also take supplements. I eat wild salmon about twice a week. Not perfect, but more than 80% of the time that is what I eat. My risk of cancer recurrence is now 3%!
