    This is the smartest way to show us how much blow this fan has to offer. Thank you, from Montreal Canada.

    So glad I ran across your video, this is exactly what I'm going to do. I really wanted to see how someone would tie it into the electrical system and I was having trouble finding that. Thank you for making the video! Well done!

    We just received our Maxair 7000 today. Your video gave me what to expect during installation. We are NC folks too.

      We still love the fan, we’ve moved to the mountains in West Virginia. Spent last summer here in the camper, bought an old church we are turning into our home. New adventure awaits.

    I think you might have missed some screws on the sides, which is why it has less than the front/back. There is another row of dimpled plastic for screws that is closer to the fan. Putting butyl tape on this inner section/row also helps prevent leakage from the opening/rubber insert near the fan cover clip-in bracket.

    On ludicrous speed it moves 900cfm!!
    Best think I have ever bought for our camper.

    Did you predrill or just run self-tapping screws through the abs plastic?

    • @TangoRomeo87
      @TangoRomeo87  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It already had thin holes for screws. I did use self tappers though.

    Ours worked ok for an hour, then started beeping and quit. Not impressed at all with it. Hope you have better luck with yours. Good video though of the install.

      Yes they have a bad reputation for failure. The manufacturer claims it from moisture or excess high voltage. I’ve replaced the board twice, installed a 12.5 v regulator, conformation coated the new circuit boards. It didn’t last for the first trip. Runs for a while stops, starts beeping. Very annoying. Parts from the company take months to receive. I would not buy one again.
      Well done video. Would be interesting in a follow up in a year.

    Wait... Did you explain why you had to pull power from the light and couldn't just use the existing wiring from the fan you took out?

    • @TangoRomeo87
      @TangoRomeo87  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There was no fan, it was just a vent. So I had to pull power from the light.

      It depends on the outside air, but it replaces the stale hot air with lots of moving fresh air.
