    truly appreciate your video, my 95's bushings are absolutely cooked from neglect. Definitely investing in a shop press to get this done.

    Good job on doing the hard work, but I would have cleaned and repainted the control arms and fork while you had them out. I’m doing a similar rebuild on my Del Sol. Oven cleaner takes all that grease and grime off with one can as opposed to multiple cans of brake cleaner.

      You are very welcome. The lower control arm kit mentioned it in the instructions. If I ever do it again, I might get a kit with all of them in it.

    I wish I could ride in it and feel the difference. My 95 coupe has aftermarket oem-style bushings. Replaced last year. But then again, our coilers are different, too.

    • @MaqsVids
      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Imagine with mine oem would have made a big difference too since mine were so shot. What shocks do you have? If I do another, I might do bushings and lowering springs. I can't go as low as I would like with my driveway.

      Nice. F&F type 2 we're the first coilovers I ever installed on a car (1992 Integra). I was so happy with them that I have been afraid to try another brand. I have purchased 2 sets of type 1 since. Still very happy.

    Nice video bro 👍🏽 I sourced this kit for my 01 Honda CR-V but don’t have a press so I shied away from replacing the bushings. Ended up just buying the whole upper and lower control arm 🤷🏽‍♂️

      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. That would have been so much easier. And, I swear a hear a squeak sometimes now. But, It is so infrequent and faint that I can't locate it. And I can't reproduce it.

      @@MaqsVids it was easier but I was bummed I couldn’t use the polyurethane bushings. How does your car ride? Would you say that it’s worth going with polyurethane?

      The bushings are great when turning they feel more response it is amazing its called energy suspension master bushing kit which is the same as the video you will need a torch sawzaw and a 70 dollar press from harbor freight all which can be returned and the bushing kit is so easy to install its pretty easy to get the pieces out if you kept the old lower control arms i would say try it out and try installing the bushings

    A question please
    Does replacing the front control arm bushing with Poly makes the steering wheel vibrate less in high speed?

    how do they feel?

    • @MaqsVids
      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They make the car feel newer. And, I feel even more of the imperfections of the road. The combinations of poly bushings all around and the coilovers I have make it perfect for me. Think, instant repsponse. There is no slop in my suspension now. But, rough roads and bumps are harsh.

  • @playerinpink

    How do they feel? I’m doing mine right now

    • @MaqsVids
      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They definitely make the car feel more stable. More of the imperfections of the road are felt. I really like it. I'm poly all around now with Coilovers. So, it is tight, responsive and "new" feeling. Steering and turning feels like a new sporty car. And, is is less comfortable on bad roads. But I love it.

    • @playerinpink
      @playerinpink 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MaqsVidsthanks for the review and install. I can’t wait! I got a 92 eg and am doing poly bushings for my trailing arms. Front control arms, I did blox rear, adjustable camber kits front and rear, new hubs, bearings, ball joints, and then I’m redoing braking. I got a integra type r caliper with Mini Cooper 11in rotor setup for the front over the stock 9.5 brakes, stainless lines, rear disc swap, 15/16 master cylinder and a 4040 prop valve. Should handle and stop like a whole different car now 😈

    • @MaqsVids
      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@playerinpinkAwesome!! That sounds sick!!! I'm going to look into the mini Cooper brakes. Putting the poly bushings in the rear disc swap was very noticeable. But, my old bushing were shot. I would love to hear how it turns out.

    • @playerinpink
      @playerinpink 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MaqsVids I want to say it’s 07 base model Mini Cooper 11in rotors with the integra type r calipers. You’ll need to change your front spindles to ex si or gsr spindles. I can’t stop doing a pull to 140mph without pumping my brakes on my stock dx brakes. It’s sketchy

      @MaqsVids  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @MaqsVids

      I thought that too. But they were too thick and inflexible and would not fit. They go on the top of the stock style shock setup. I didn't use them since I have coilovers.
