- I will be installing polyurethane control arm bushings in my 1995 Civic. But first, I must remove the rotted, cracked and deteriorated old ones. I show 2 ways that I did it.
Check out the other work I have done to my EJ1 in the playlist.

These are links to all the bushings I will be installing.

Maq, I just wanted to reach out and thank you for this video. I think you did an incredible job with picture quality, good lighting, and clear commentary. Background music is not important to me, but yours was pleasant enough. Overall excellent content!
Thanks for calming us . With directional content
You are welcome.
Following u. I tried to cut the metal collar then bang it out. Didn't work for me. End up buying Tru harts front LCA. I have a fomoto valve. The jdm one. My valve spontaneous open on it own with hard driving alone. Did not hit anything. I have to tie it done with a metal wire
@@smartauto1166 My valve opening like that would scare me. The new ones have a clip that hold it shut. But before I got the clip I never had an issue with it. But they make the job so much easier
Interesting video, Maq. I need to be prepared for the future!
Man, I thought it was going to be quicker. I finished one side and hopefully can use the lessons learned for the other. I was hoping to fit it all in one video too. But it would have been too long.
@@MaqsVids That really sucks, man. Sometimes you get lucky with things and other times you don't. Usually, with my luck, things tend to take quite a while😅
Thanks for the help don’t know if there was an outer race on for the bushing that goes to the subframe. Mine are so risky I couldn’t tell 😅
Heck yeah!!!
I'm looking at this after 2 hours cursing giving up ready to try again
I'm wishing you all the luck
@MaqsVids cut them right off thanks man
Emotional content 😄
RIP Bruce Lee😉
Hoping I don't need to get a press! My Mk1 Leon is sitting waiting for a full bushing change. It always felt wooly compared to other cars I drive and finally failed the MOT last year. I am going for poly bushes too. Look forward to your next update, and the next 300zx video :D
Man!!! I just looked up a MK1 Leon. We don't get them in the states. They are pretty sweet! There usually are ways to avoid getting a press. (I had been wanting one this was a good excuse) Good luck with the bushes.
@@MaqsVids My plan is to get it into the garage after I have finished a couple of jobs on my other car, stick it on 4 stands, drop all the suspension off then work on it at leasure :D that way I can walk away when something gets too frustrating and I wished I had a press.
@@mattyti6178 That is the way! It is tough when we have to rush it.
Thank you for the help
Great car and video those wheels grew on me too what are they and what are the specs.... you're inspiring me to finish my coupe thanks.
do u have a video doing the rear control arm bushings?
Kind of🫤 I replaced the bushings in my aftermarket rear control arms. But I replaced my rear control arms before I started making videos on TH-cam.

Hey thank you for making this video! It really helped! I’ll sub to that!
You are very welcome. And, thanks!!
You have the link for the lower ball joint tool?
Hey man! The link below is to one that looks exactly like mine.

I am sure I picked mine up at AutoZone, Advance or Harbor Freight a long time ago.
A link to the ones at Advance is below. But, none look like mine.

Hi bro may k know the part number of bushing lower arm 93
My man! Work smart not hard 😁
What size was the socket you used a 36m and the other one?
What size socks u had for it
What did you say you need to install at 1:03? It sounds like you said fumoto valve?
You are right! I did say Fumoto valve. I love them.
I heard that!
😜 I was debating on leaving it in. 😜
You lifted the car from the radiator support? You crazy
@@christopher4692 I am crazy 😜but I'm sure you saw that wrong. I lifted with the front lift point. It was designed for that.
You needed yellow tank map gas with your torch to burn bushings out much hotter
I'll use that next time. I'm down for anything to make it quicker. And, the best thing about forums and TH-cam is people sharing little tips like that. That's one of the reasons I love this stuff. Thanks!
