Where did you source your replacement part and how much did it cost? I seem to have the same issue. Ty

Great video, thanks for making it! How many amps would you expect to see from a working motor? About 11 amps? How many for a non-working motor? 0 amps? Thanks again.

hey buddy you are the man its the teachers like u who make it possible for guys like me to get to your skill level someday. so thank you. is the arrow on the amp clamp suppost to point towards ground on circuit so it shows positive current and not negative, that way you can identify the actual way current is flowing and could you make a video if the right car comes in on how to figure out how much amps the car is consuming and how much the battery is taking. maybe good details and explanation on how its flowing in and out of distribution center and the vehical and all the right ways to figure it out there is not to many good videos giving the details to really make complete sense of it and ou are the right guy to finally do the vedeo rite. you should be a shop teacher for real

Yes normally you would want to attach an amp clamp with the arrow pointing towards ground so the current flow will display correctly. But since a window motor circuit can be operated in both directions, it doesn't really matter. All you are looking for is that current is flowing in one direction with the switch pressed "up" and in the other direction with the switch pressed "down".

HELP!!!! Your videos are great. I love my 1997 4runner Ltd with 240k also. I want keep it runner forever. Can you help me with one issue that I can't solve. My passenger door window only goes down but not up. I have replaced the window motor already but it is still having the same issue. I tried both driver and passenger side buttons, checked the fuse but they both can't bring the window up only down. Can you give me a few pointers in troubleshooting the issue. Thanks.

Huh? I have a 2001 CR-V and there are no up down switches on the windows for arm rests. all switches except for the FR,RL,RR windows lock buttons are actually the up down windows buttons. the driver door handle button operates the door lock on the driver door and nothing else. I know I have some electrical issues since I just took possession of this 2001 CR-V. Fuses are OK but have to test door windows power yet at the door motor connector. Have new regulators with motors to brute force the issue.
