Thank You! I live in a townhouse complex, and our neighbors have a 2014 CRV. They have two kids and are on a very tight budget. Their motor/regulator broke, and your video allowed me to easily replace it for them. Got the new unit from amazon for $56. Saved them a bunch. Thank you again!
Oh yea. I wanted to leave you a meaningful comment. I drive a Chevy sonic and had a failing coolant manifold. I live out in the middle of nowhere near a research facility so I had to rely on some DIY skills. I had the part mailed to me and used your videos to do a painless swap. What I really appreciated was the detailed process of dismantling the various connections, clips, and pins. Thank you for that, I couldn't find that detail anywhere else. My car is working wonderfully again and it's a big relief off my mind and a feather in my cap! Thank you for your time making these!
Great video, saved me going to a mechanic to get the item changed, some basic tools that virtually anyone should have at hand. done the complete removal and install in less than an hour. regarding the black sealant that is used on the plastic. what i have found is to remove the black gunk from your hands and tools after is to wipe them down with Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), removes the sticky stuff in seconds and leaves no residue.
Just a question?. Why does my Crv drivers window Regulator keep having to be changed going on 2 times now.. With in almost 4 yr period? 2016 35,000 miles on Crv. Both times dealership replaced. Window Squeak.
I would have to be looking at it or look back at the video to give you a solid answer. Sometimes you can cut the cables, or loosen up the other bolts and you can get the window down. Or other times just jump the motor with higher than 12 volts and it will work. Or try tapping it with a hammer when you're jumping it
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow hey,I just wanted to ask you about the video you did on the SHIFT TO PARK on the Malibu. I have a 2018MalibuLT and I took my console apart a couple of weeks ago when I saw the video and I bent that lever and then things were OK for awhile . Now I'm having the same problem with the SHIFT TO PARK again. Should I just get a new SHIFTER? And how much are they.?

The suction cup idea on window is brilliant, I will be using that trick
That’s a lot of work. Now I won’t complain when I pay someone to do this for me. 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
Great video. Thank you so much for posting this.
Glad it was helpful!

Great video! Thanks for the help
Good stuff as always
My man. All that talk about the cantina, you got me in the mood making a margarita over here now. Lol
Hey, what if the window is all the way up? How would I bring the regulator down to unscrew the two 10mm

Whatever you got to do to get it down I suppose. Without breaking the window
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow oh that would make sense, if i unbolt the regulator the window should come down low enough to get the bottom 2 10mms
Thank you for the vid saved me ££££'s
Thank you. 😊
Thumbs up 👍 clean and go 😊
What did you use to clean it?
Good video
Thanks Bruce

@@brucegardner7630 I would try putting a little piece of hose on it to shim it. Or just get rid of the switch altogether. Bypass it
Ok thanks
Can you just buy and replace the motor on the regulator?
Sweet Mother of Pearl.. How the crap do you remember how to put it ll back together?
