I think giving some proportion of mushroom to honey would be very helpful. To know what amount of honey contains what percentage of mushroom. Knowing your dose is very helpful !

Very good idea!I use a similar method to make homemade cough syrup. Lol I dissolve honey in apple cider vinegar and extract garlic, ginger, onion, lemon, and golden rod. Ha ha I never thought about doing something like this for mushrooms. My basic brain kept me to hot water and ethanol extraction.
Two questions one how do you accurately measure out dosages using blue honey second question can't you let the mushroom powder sit in the honey and filter out the material
instead of nitrogen which can be slightly reactive if you are going through the trouble already why not back fill with argon. I know you can often get food grade (no oil in the bottle) argon at airgas whear houses and I think even in some bruery stores.

But since this honey uses the entire mushroom are not you still ingesting the same amount of chitin? I agree about the desire to not simply isolate the few chemical compounds we know most about while leaving other potentially beneficials behind. Do you have any thoughts on chitin removal?
I wish this had been out several months ago. I was unaware of all the air trapped in the mushroom powder. My honey seems to have gone bad and has signs of botulism. :(

what mushroom:honey ratio do you use?
from my experience, it looked fairly thick. maybe 3.5 to 4 grams per ounce.
For myself I would prefer to dry them and just grind some when you need to take your mushrooms.
