When talking about energy one thing they don’t know is Turkish team is the youngest team in the Euros! Imagine that this team has never played with the same starting 11. There are young and quality legs waiting in the bench for their turn. Turkey has all the necessary energy to go to the end!
They need quite much the luck though. With Austria they were stuck most of the time back and had 3 times less opportunities. I don't think the Netherlands is coming to play.
@@meganod279 sorry, but learn to watch football. When Austria had their first shot on target the score was already 2-0. And Turkey plays with no striker. 5 defender and 5 midfielder. The aim was keeping the midfield and defence zone crowded and creating chaos for Austria. They gave the ball to Austria as they were one of the fittest teams of the Euros. After watching the group stages against France and Holland, you would never try to play with the ball against Austria.

Just last month, José Mourinho signed with Fenerbahçe! Moreover, the goalkeeper you're referring to is the number one player for Besiktas, with a substantial contract that enables him to purchase multiple houses with just one year's salary. The difference was Arda Güler...He had done 2 great corner kicks and in result 2 goals...He is so creative and talented...

But the thing fans look for the most is the fight they put on in the field. If they fight till their last drop of sweat and lose 6-0, people will be proud of them. Defense did a great job all night. Gave very few chances other then dead ball against a very good team. Mert is the best keeper of the league for past few years. You can talk about luck when one side keeps wasting chances. Austria dominated most of the game but wasn't able to create quality looks.

I have to say, there's been pressure on our team until this match because we knew/hoped our squad could come as far as the last 16s. But from now on, we are proud of our squad and even if they lose at quarter finals, they know they'll be welcomed in istanbul as if they won. We have almost always been an underdog in European/world stage. We almost never hoped to win the trophy in these tournaments because the top teams almost always have better players and better coaches. This mentality, being an underdog, gives the squad an ease of mind. We know they fight against superior squads thus leading us to support them to the very end. We believe in them and they have no pressure at all. Even if they lose in the quarters, they will be very well welcomed and supported.

Firstly, huge congrats to Turkey for this game, it was amazing to watch and seeing to qualify to the next round is obviously cherry on the top. On the other hand, Austria had really made Turkey suffocated in last 10 minutes, I actually held my breath when stoppage time was playing.
