George and his sister both died on Christmas Day and their mom was born on Christmas Eve. That's crazy. So sad. George's voice is extremely underrated too. It was amazing. He made it seem effortless. RIP to all three of them.

Hi Scott I’m a landscape gardener and I did a massive job in George Micheal garden when he lived in goring England about 10 years ago. He offered us a cup of tea we obviously said yes. (Not thinking he’s actually gunna make it himself) but no 10 mins later out he comes with a tray of tea and biscuits! I gotta say the man could make a hell of a cup of tea! Such a nice bloke.
I still own my George Michael C.Ds. back in high school we made up a dance to hus song Faith. Haha I still remember every move. I LOVED it when George sang in the tribute to Freddie Mwrcury. I thought he was the BEST performer. I will always miss him. R.I.P Mr. Michael. 😇
I'm an 80s kid and love his music. It was in December 2018 when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. His music is what helped me get through a very dark time. Still does. Thank you for sharing this! ❤
Great video! George Michael was one of the last superstars: Michael Jackson, Prince...George Michael...very gifted and no one will ever replace them...keep it up! 👍
Wow! You got to meet George Michael! I am so jealous and hope to God you find those old pictures! Thank you, Lisa, for taking George's gravesite pictures for us! That is a beautiful setting for him, his mother whom he adored and his sister. I miss his beautiful voice. RIP George.
He gave away millions of pounds to quietly help those in need.Five years after his death, it's not just his work that remains his legacy...but also his secret acts of extraordinary kindness❤️

"A Different Corner" has always been my favorite George Michael song. It's a perfect example of just how amazing George's voice truly was. He really made singing seem effortless.
I went to my all time favorite singers grave on Saturday 9th july 2022 and it was very emotional i loved this man his voice everything. I miss him his songs always will x❤️
✌👍💯💜👏👏👏🤗. Thanks Scott. My mom loved George Michaels. Her favorite song escapes me, but I love his music too..thanks lisa for sending the pictures to Scott.🙌🤗. Thanks Scott for sharing. Me and my mom used to dance to faith. He had so many great songs. He did look like he was a nice guy. You were lucky to meet him and get his autograph. Wow,for him and his sister to pass on the same day, years apart..Christmas, of all days..then his mom's birthday is Christmas Eve 😯 imagine the rest of the family and how they feel every year during the holiday..RIP to George, his mom and sis❤..your story of meeting him is awesome 😀
That was an awesome story. I too loved his music. Iremember listening to it daily while living in Japan in the mid 80’s and my 2 y/o son singing along with me.
Thank you for sharing this! I'm also a George Michael fan and still can't get over that he's gone. What a tragedy. His mother and Anselmo died within a few years of each other..then George. And his sister three years later to the day. I'm glad that he & Melanie finally got their headstones. Imho there are still too many unanswered questions about his death. What exactly happened....why weren't the toxicology results released? What did Fadi really do - did he sleep in his car from Christmas Eve until the next day as he claimed, or was he in the house? I find it hard to believe that George would allow anyone to sleep outside on Christmas Eve. No way.
What a fantastic story Scott and when you comet to the uk 🇬🇧 would love to meet up xx My cousin was doing some security work for Elton Johns late mum sand was in Goring On Thames where George has his house and my cousin,Elton and Elton’s mum were at home and George phoned Elton for something and Elton sent my cousin over and my cousin and George were doing snow angels in his back garden and my cousin said he was a great guy to meet R.I.P George we all still miss you xxx
The 2 men i loved in my life were my dad & george michael..my dad died in october of that year & george only 2 months later..i was devastated..father figure is my favourite song & i loved his ladies & gentlemans cd..his voice was unique & amazing..x
The orchestral French concert was unsurpassable. My unfulfilled plan was to see that performance. I did see him in Tampa, Fl., and had to beg and coax and pay a ticket to not go alone, to his returning to concerts after years away. He was phenomenal, and reticent of its possible acceptance. Yes I was shattered and still in ‘22 cannot fathom his loss.
George was the best live artist I’ve ever had the pleasure to see. Elton John was with him the night I saw him in Wembley. 💔 When I hear his music, especially unexpected in a store, I still cry. Never could get my head around that he’s no longer with us. A remarkable artist and philanthropist. A huge loss to the world. Thank you for posting this, I didn’t know he now had a headstone along with his sister. x
I was at those concerts that week too! I loved George so much. Such a beautiful soul. Miss him so much. The greatest gift he left us was all that wonderful music. 💖
As a fellow George Michael fan, it was great to hear another story on the total generosity and kindness of this legend…I was gutted, like you, when the news broke of his death late Christmas Day in 2016 but hearing so many positive stories about how amazing he was just makes his passing even sadder…I live near George so hope to be able to pay my respects soon and visit his family grave, but I continue to listen to his amazing catalogue of music plus I’m constantly finding little gems I’ve not heard before including his duet with Tony Bennett…have a listen, it’s stunning!!
George was on the level of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and MaDonna. But you wouldn’t have known that towards the end of his life. Ask yourself this: How many artist do you know today, who write, arrange, produce, and play instruments? This man is gold. We miss you, George. Hope to meet you at the Edge of Heaven someday.
Thank you Scott , George Micheal was absolutely amazing, I miss him. I’m only 50 minutes from Highgate Cemetery in London, I heard George Micheals grave wasn’t on the tour, such a shame it’s not. I can’t believe it’s been nearly 7 years since his death, crazy how time fly’s. So sad about his sister Melanie dying on the same day as her brother, It does happen, My mum died on 3 April 1998 at 3.15 in the afternoon, and my mums mum died on the 3 April 1999 at 3.15 in the morning., my mum was 54, and her mum was 81., it’s amazing how that happens. Thanks Scott. Xx
Wow they all passed so young 🥺 beautiful memory Scott, I too felt like I was right there with you! I remember watching my first music video of George when I was around 7 growing up in Kenya. The name of the song escapes me but I loved him since. May he rest in peace 🕊💜
Great story Scott! I love George Michael. I never got to see him perform live and I wish I did. He had so much soul. I was devastated when he passed away. It didn't feel real. R.I.P George Michael ❤
I met him and his Dad at Heathrow. Imagine turning around and seeing your hero! I was stunned! He was a beautiful man. both inside and out. The world lost a very special person the day he died.
I love George Michael. Best concert I ever went to. He sang 3 and a half hours non stop. He was amazing. I was devastated when he passed away. There will never be another like him. I’m thankful we have his music. Your so lucky to have met him and had real conversation. Great video. 😊
George Michael was my favourite singer as a kid. I listened to the Beatles, Bowie & Elvis but George struck a chord with me. He was the 1st artist I became a fanatic over as a teen...even tried to do my hair like him! My heart was absolutely crushed the day he died. So sad that his personal hairstylist/sister died the same day years later. I'm soooo envious that you got to meet him!! You're soooo lucky!! Thanks for this, dude!!!
George Michael had such a beautiful voice his live cover in France of ‘Let her down easy’ is sang with so much emotion...it is one of my favourites of his amazing music George Michael is very much missed by those of us here in the U.K also the world over may his beautiful soul be at peace x
'Fastlove ', and 'Outside' are my favourite songs. George, Bowie and Prince in the same year. Such a loss to music and the world. Fantastic artists ❤❤❤
Hi Scott, George Michael was one of the world's greatest ever singer's and performer's. You're right about how kind and charitable he was, he once worked at a night shelter handing out soup to homeless people he told the manager of the shelter "Please don't tell anyone i have helped you here". That was the measure of the man. He also once gave a lady 25,000 cheque in a cafe, after overhearing her Crying and telling someone on the phone she was in 5,000 worth of debt. He signed the cheque for the lady and rushed out quickly so she couldn't find out it was George who gave her the cheque. An amazing human being and singer will never be forgotten. RIP George Michael 🙏. Great video scott Liverpool UK.
I am almost exactly 2 years younger than George 7-1-65 and I grew up with his music and saw him live twice, once during the Wham years and then during the faith tour and he had a fantastic voice and was a great song writer. I was stunned to hear of his passing and will always admire his music. What a great story you shared of meeting him👍good video.
George was such an amazing and talented artist. His music will stand the test of time!! He left us way too soon and had so much more to create and give! I hope he is at peace and creating his particular brand of music!! Love and miss you George, the world isn’t the same without you. 💜💜💔💔
I absolutely love George Michael's voice. He had such a BEAUTIFUL, Raw, Emotional voice. I miss his music. Can you imagine him and Adele singing together. Blessing's Scott. Take care and be safe Luv. ❤ 😊
I wish they had mentioned what a talented musician he was. Seems like disrespectful for his whole lifes work to not be on his headstone. Such a loss that he isnt still with us. One of my fave artists hands down. Thanks for sharing Scott!
That's what I was thinking. It seemed very odd. Even just his stage name in quotes under his real name would have been a step in that direction. Anyone passing by who didn't know his real name would never know the impact that the person lying below made on people.
It's how his family wanted it, And no doubt George. The funeral was small and private too. If you know about George, He was a very private person despite being a superstar. And now he is together with his beloved mother, And now his sister.. In a nice family plot no bells n whistles. People who loved this man will continue to through his music and know who he is. And can easily find the cemetery and the plot if they want to visit.. I live 2 miles from Highgate and have been myself.
Great Story Scott. George extraordinary talent was so underrated. I never saw him in concert. Him and Bob Marley are my favorite artist I wish I had seen. George was a Cancer. We are the most giving ,loving, and underrated sign of the zodiac. I wasn't surprised how much of a philanthropist he was During his life. Rest 🕊 Easy my MoonBrother.❤
George Michael was so special to me, His music was essential. It’s a shame He’s not mentioned more. Thank you for making this video I couldn’t click fast enough when I found it. ❤️
Great story and great video Scott! I'm a huge George Michael fan and grew up as a teen in the 80's listening to his music! My favorite songs are Everything she wants and Don't let the sun go down on me live with Elton John in 1991! ♥️😊
George Michael. Love him. Rest In Peace. His music is so peaceful to me. And so handsome. Very good entertainer he was. I hear his music everyday. 🎤👱🏻✝️💟🙏🏼
What a Great story Scott🥰… Thank you Lisa for the grave footage😢❤️It brought tears to my eyes to actually Grasp the thought that George Michael is gone… God rest his soul, along with his sister and mother❤️May they all Rest Peacefully 🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️Thank you Scott😘
You know they say to never meet your heroes because you'll never see them in the same light. Thankfully this one went as you'd hoped! Great story Scott!
Really good of George to speak with you and give you a autograph. Its so sad the 3 of them died so young. His sister looked like their Mum. Lovely tribute to a great musician. Very humble gravestone. I know its been 6 years but still cant believe he is gone. My favorite is Young Guns, Jesus to a Child, father figure . You have a great memory Scott
Oh Wow Scott ! I was also a huge George Michael fan and also WHAM as well. I miss him. RIP George Michael 🙏 😢 💔 thanks for you sharing your personal encounter with him and his gravesite!! Love your vlogs!!! Stay safe and well !!!
So cool that you met him. My favorite artist of all time. My favorite song is "Waiting For That Day" from that album. Saw him in concert twice and had close to the stage seats. Best shows I ever saw. He was a class act all the way.
Thanks for another amazing vid Scott, love George Michael & still do, big fan of his from Wham to his solo career. He was an amazing human being & so kind & generous. Hes truely missed, but i listen to his music on a daily basis. His music helped me get through losing my sister in 96. Thanks Scott 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Loved hearing your story about meeting George. Our man is beautiful both inside and out 💜 I cannot talk of George in a past tense as it breaks my heart 💜
The world lost a great talent and genuine person when George died. You know when you grow up and love a artist you think they will live forever that’s what I thought about George.
Great video Scott..loved your story of George.. It's an all too familiar experience regarding how he was with others, warm kind and chatty from so many who met him. I would have given anything just to meet him for a moment, a truly beautiful man and a voice and talent never to be seen again. I visited his resting place on November 24th 2021 I believe his sister was tending to the grave, so I waited in the cold for 2 hours until she left out of respect then just stood there for a while with George, his mum and sister, who also is resting there, Mum only had her headstone then. I then went to his home in Goring and the pub he used to eat in I also parked across from his Highgate home and recieved a £150 parking fine, but that meant nothing compared to the experience I had. I miss him terribly like so many even 5 years on, and I still feel the shock today Rest in peace George..You are loved x
I grew up listening to George Michael and I love him and his music. It's awesome that he donated so much money to charity. He's a very humble, and kind man. Thank you Scott and I love your city of Toronto. It's been a few years since I've been there.
That was such a cool story about how you met George. I hope to see pictures of that soon. His gravesite is beautiful with his new headstone. I'm a big fan of his and was heartbroken when he passed away. Faith is one of my favorite songs ever! Rest in peace to George and his family. Love ya brother!
Hey :) I met him when I was in high school - my friend and I were tipped off because limos were rare in Ohio, lol. We hadn’t planned it, weren’t prepared for it but yes, he was disarmingly sweet and had the most beautiful smile - all I can really remember in my shock were his amazing teeth :) Thank you for this video Scott!

Do you know how his sister died?

According to a report, George's beloved sister Melanie died after falling into a diabetic coma as a result of diabetic ketoacidosis.
The hairdresser died from diabetic ketoacidosis, a complication caused by lack of insulin and sky-high blood sugar. Diabetes was given as an underlying cause of death.
The post-mortem report also recorded that other contributing factors to Melanie's death included hypertensive heart disease, obesity and bronchopneumonia.
@@addicted367 I read somewhere that she died of diabetic ketoacidosis after falling into a diabetic coma but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

George died at 53, his mother at 58 and his sister at 59. I think his second sister is around 59 now, or is she still living?

And now he is together with his beloved mother, And now his sister.. In a nice family plot no bells n whistles. People who loved this man will continue to through his music and know who he is. And can easily find the cemetery and the plot if they want to visit.. I live 2 miles from Highgate and have been myself.
I'm only 24 years old, but I love the oldies and George Michael! He is such a legend! Thanks for this video😊
Well Babygirl you have EXCELLENT taste

You know they say to never meet your heroes because you'll never see them in the same light. Thankfully this one went as you'd hoped! Great story Scott!
What a great story. Memories that you’ll always cherish and keep close to your heart.
Thanks for sharing
Awesome I love George Michael 💖
I absolutely love him!! My alltime fav singer!!
That has to be the most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen 🤔
Continue To Rejoice In Peace To The Late Great Mr. George Michael🕊
I'll always have a huge crush , Andrew Ridgely 🎼🎵🎼🎵🎼🎵

George was truly a blessing thanks Scott
Thank you Lisa 💕💕😘
