Avatar isn't cancelled and Splinter Cell isn't cancelled. It is unknown what 3 games they've recently cancelled, but they stated that these games were nothing people wanted. Splinter Cell lost the director, but it's still in development. Really bad research
I think Blacklist was great. It had both elements. If you wanted, you could go full ghost, or be a Rambo. It appealed to both of the fans - the OG's and the newcomers. And it had so much replay value. I finished it on hardest difficulty twice with full ghost. and then went in guns blazing :d It's sad they can't seem to figure out a continuation.
Splinter Cel is they best game ever!!! There was nothing like spies vs mercs!! Chaos theory! We need that game back! Maybe Microsoft should just buy UBISOFT! And give it back to us! We don’t need open world just the way it used to be!! I watched the video of the DEVS and it seems promising they seem excited to remake it! We need it so badly!!
So a little while back I saw that Ubisoft Montreal released a montage on their Twitter/X page of their games. I saw a snippet of what possibly could have been a Splinter Cell Remake teaser they snuck in there and no one seemed to notice.
I know this video is over a year old now. But one other thing you didn't touch on Blacklist was that Michael Ironside, the voice of Sam didn't reprise his role. Most fans were let's just say mixed on it at the time, they still are.
Hi guys I wanted to ask you something How do I get the Trophy of the daily challenge I know the servers are closed but there are people who from the beginning of 2023 to today are continuing to get the Trophy and I can't explain it. (ps3)
Splinter cell should take in the creation of A.I.! Like the personal character/suit development model. Let them create themselves within themselves with this beloved and timeless game. The ability to assume anything. The idea of being a ghost. To hide yourself and your spirit within the open risk of being caught! Knowing that. Truly, the the player you're playing against is (Could be...) YOU! A magnificent game! Exploring the ideas on the disguise of idealism vs. realism.
Double Agent through Blacklist were too cinematic, the first 3 were supposed to be _in the moment_ as if this is all REALLY happening and not Jason Bourne. They dropped what Splinter Cell was all about and tried to dress it up as something else. For me the Splinter Cell story ended at Chaos Theory. Double Agent and beyond are just noise. I never liked the whole "lets ruin Sam Fisher's life" story arch. I wanted more More humor,More Third Echelon, more adventure and travel to other countries more of the original Spies vs Mercs. They had a formula that could have last so much longer but instead of looking at what went right with the first 3 they juset kept upsetting everything trying to appease some sort of audience.
They destroyed the Tom Clancy series, I got into splinter cell (spy vs merc), rainbow six and ghost recon back on the original xbox. Chaos Theory was peak splinter cell, then they brought out assassin creed and just kind of forgot about all their older games that made them popular except Rainbow six.
@@philip2404 If they make the same game but just updated, similar to what mafia did then they are on the right path. If they fuck it up, and I'm sure Ubisoft can find a way to fuck it up, then this series will never recover.

The new game is probably gunna be insanely good if anything with the new snow engine and updated graphics and gameplay. Pluse AI has improved over time so I'm reasonably optimistic. Pluse the stealth gameplay is what most care about... the story was never the bread and butter it was the immersion and interactions between the in-game interrogations and stunning maps to be a ninja in...
@@mohsinabdulshukurThe AI wasn't that terrible. But I'm just saying the new game will most likely be an improvement from blacklist, whether it tops the awesomeness of Chaos theory is another story, time and true gamplay will tell. Just hope it's not loud action focused. 🙏
I don't really see what's wrong in this video, Ubisoft is flip flopping on whether they want to make a game or not, totally normal for Ubisoft. However, they've green lit this game, talked about it openly, and on top of that are playing it safe with the design; linear, stealth based gameplay, very similar to the original trilogy, there's not too many reasons to doubt they'll go forward with it. So far it sounds good, but not too sure it's something to be worried about yet
Stealth games are supposed to become more creative and open-ended as time goes by. This happened to both Hitman, MGS and Splinter Cell. Look at Hitman WOA and compare it to Blood Money, the quality is like night and day and all for the better. Stealth games aren't supposed to stagnate, they're supposed to evolve. I'm a huge Hitman fan and I spent nearly 600hours in it. I want a legit competition, like Chaos Theory vs Blood money or Absolution vs Blacklist, not a bad remake with linear levels. I want a Splinter Cell that is just as versatile and open-ended as modern hitman games. Tough task, IO interactive are in a whole different league than modern Ubisoft. They probably can't even make a good SC anymore, hence why we haven't seen one in 10 years. Completely pointless company.
@@dracobob1661 You're saying conviction was better than blacklist? That's a weird take considering blacklist just improved on the good feedback they got from conviction and removed the negative things, and made it available to be played both stealth, either fully or aggressively, or full on rambo.

Daf*ck, you just start playing Splinter Cell with Conviction first. Conviction was all action and the worst gameplay for a stealth game. The Blacklist gameplay was the best in the series. You could even finish the game without killing anyone.
The ones to be blamed for all this shit is non sensical CEOs that think you have to reinvent the wheel to make something good, and the retards that only care about money grabbing. In short, if they kept going with decent releases on multiple franchises they would be good, you dont really need massive graphics upgrade or gameplay revolution, just make something with a good story and thats pretty much it.

What? If someone releases a product so bad that no one wants it, it's the customers fault and not on the actual producers of said product? What kind of mentally ill with -39 IQ logic is that? Let's strictly talk about spinter cell here, a game that from the start was all about stealth, literally be a ghost while infiltrating. They fucked up all that when conviction came out, and then blacklist, who wasn't as bad as conviction, but how are you gonna sit there and say that consumers should not complain that much when the franchise they consumed for 10 years literally isn't what it used to be anymore, a heavily stealth focused game. They have every right to complain. The fan bases shouldn't be more open as you put it when the only reason they became a fan is not part of the franchise anymore.
