I honestly think that would've ended way too fast...Deathstroke don't play, so that makes him the worst possible enemy for someone like Joker who's weak as hell and relies on tricks but mostly uses the fact that heroes won't outright kill him.
@@JTR0083 That"s the point, the comic should START OFF with deathstroke killing joker, and the story is about the aftermath of that, like harley quinn trying to get revenge, batmans and the other villians reactions to the jokers death, and maybe even the mystery of who hired deathstroke to kill the joker
That would be awesome
Batman won't kill joker.
But he sure will give him a bunch of punches.

Hey, since Mortal Kombat footage is being used for the Joker, can we just appreciate how good a job Netherrealm did with the extra skins? @Richie Wayne No, it's Bruce Wayne. He has similar abilities to Noob in the comics, as well. He does not use Joker's toys at all. Noob Saibot is a better fit.
Says a lot that pretty much every time batman kills the joker he snaps his neck. Him seemingly using the same exact method over ever continuity of Batman killing Joker emphasizes on how easily Batman could have killed joker at anytime during their scraps with a muscle memory-like reflex he has been thinking about for years.

I love the Injustice version of Batman killing the Joker. Has there ever been a storyline where Batman is a lunatic inside of Arkham that think he's Batman because he went insane after his parents died and none of his villains exist
I don’t think that is a real story, would like to see it become a thing though
Last Knight on Earth issue one by Scott Snyder has exactly what you are looking for.
In several universes this certainly happened. Bruce couldn't cope with his parents death and had been Arkham since a very young age. Very unfortunate. But because he's Batman. Several universes where Even though this happened, he still becomes Batman but at a later point.

I also like the Batman storyline "The beginning of the End" (from "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" by Neil Gaiman) in which Bruce is a bit crazier and more depressed/suicidal than our Brucie;
so Alfred pays some of his theatre buddies, to invent a personality like the Riddler, (played by Alf's best friend and with who he's making up scemes to keep Bruce's mind occupied) who is kinda the main Bat-rogue I guess.

How have I never noticed this before, his go to move for killing Joker is snapping his neck. Bruce has said multiple times he has had various fantasies of killing Joker slowly and in one comic said he dreamt would only let him die once he had stopped laughing for a month and the sound he wanted to hear was crying and begging for it. But he always does it quickly and painfree.
I figure batman doesn’t have the time or temperament to indulge those urges in any of these cases.
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 its called bottled up feelings.
He WANTS to kill Joker and just let himself lose control in the process. But he knows if he goes there on Joker's terms, he becomes a monster.
So he snaps Jokers neck as much to deny that dark part of himself the chance as to end the Joker for good
To be fair, the neck snap is a swift death. Even against the joker, he was still technically holding back when breaking his rule
in batman: arkham city the joker dies of a chemical reaction of titan from the previous game, batman said that he would have saved him but in batman: arkham knight joker reveals, as being in batman's mind, that we wouldn't have shared, batman doesn't kill him directly but i think it counts.
Joker commited involuntary suicide. In Asylum, Joker gave himself a overdose of T.I.T.A.N. In Arkham City, Joker attacks Batman and made him drop the cure. Joker is like a multiple personality disorder in Knight since he can take over Batman's body so he could possibly be lying about Batman not wanting to save him.
What happened is the joker infected part of batman is telling the normal side that he would’ve killed joker and wasn’t planning on sharing, in reality, batman was fully willing to share and only drank half of it for that specific reason, to share with the joker. It’s just joker is telling batman this in his head to try to force batman into giving up control and submitting to joker in his mind.

He was trained by the *league of assassins* in most timelines. I'm sure that was day one stuff tbh
my favorite death has gotta be the one at the killing joke. he basically tells batman, thru a joke, that he can never be fixed. and batman takes a second to think, laughs realizing the joker has been right this whole time, and they share one heartfelt moment both seeming to know what comes next. such a well executed scene and in my head, that really is how the joker dies.
I always took Killing Joke as he WANTS to but stops himself last second holding an unconscious Joker.
Like the whole point of it is Batman knows one way or another he'll likely have to break his rule to truly stop Joker for good. Hence why we see Joker genuinely respond by admitting he's a monster and declining Batman's offer to help him
To everyone saying he should do which lantern corps Shrek is in, I want to say Shrek would be in every single Lantern Corps, and I think it shows his perfect character development. It shows that Shrek doesn’t just have a “dominant” emotion. Shrek is the most “human” character you will most likely find in any piece of fiction. Here is my reasoning.
Life: Shrek has made life and made it worth living. He had lived life to the fullest extent. From beating princes to encountering dragons. He has also made children, putting him in literal control of some lives.
Love: The other half of the saying. Shrek has saved Fiona, making her embrace her true love for him. He has made children, and has a very good friendship with Donkey as well. Plus, he is the most handsome being in the universe
Will: Shrek had proved many wrong about him and about ogres in general. Whenever he puts his mind to something, he achieves it in the end. He overthrew princes like Farquaad and fought dragons, he puts his mind to something and pulls it off with ease.
Hope: Shrek is a shining bright light of hope, inspiring many children and adults around the world that you should be yourself and to not let anyone stop you.
Compassion: Shrek is very compassionate about what he does. He does everything he puts his mind to and nobody can stop him. He goes from being an unaccepted monster to society to being an accepted man and a man with many many friends in a short span of time.
Avarice: Shrek, even though a later less greedy man, showing his character development, does know what is his and is not afraid to show it. He is willing to protect what is his at any costs and he is determined to assert dominance over his enemies.
Rage: Shrek, especially in the first movies, has a lot of bottles up rage because of how the human society does not accept him as an ogre, and sees him as a gross being. We all know he is very strong, and the main source of this power seems to be this bottled up anger. I say, bottled-up, but he sure is not afraid to show it.
Fear: Shrek is a scary, big, strong, hunky man. If Shrek was looking at you you would be intimidated immediately, without hesitation you would excrete in your pants because of your fear of what this strong handsome ogre can pull off on you.
Death: Shrek has cheated death multiple times, and is able to manipulate it too. Nearly all of us could easily be killed by Shrek, and that is not an exaggeration. Besides, everybody would kill themselves if it ment Shrek survived.
Shame: Shrek, as stated before, started off as an ogre who was seen as a disgrace by many beings for being himself. Even if Shrek has all the other emotions such as Compassion, Hope and Will that would still hurt him, because Shrek is humanity and life. Being shamed by humans for so long eventually didn’t effect him as much as they wanted it to. But it sure did.
I hope you realise that Shrek isn’t just a stupid story about an ogre. It is about a man, formerly frowned upon by society climbing up and conquering his fears, proving himself no matter what, achieving his goals, finding love and living life to the fullest. Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
Shrek, my lads, is art.
Also will because green
Shrek is love, Shrek is life
So uh wouldn’t that just make him a white lantern

I remember reading the Vampire Batman story line when I was younger. I really enjoyed that one. The slow descent of Batman's mind giving in to the urge to drink blood is completed just as he snaps Jokers neck.... To pull a quote from the comic "In the end...the Joker had won."
I think that Batman always snapping Joker’s neck is an interesting constant because 1. It shows that how easy it is for Batman to kill Joker, and that he just chooses not to, and 2. It’s probably the most personal way to kill someone. You can shoot someone, that’s easy, but it’s different to go up to a man, go against the force of his muscles and bone, and snap his neck. The fact that Batman always kills the Joker with his hands makes it hurt him more.
Absolutely love the Nail's take on Batman killing the Joker.
He doesn't instantly go mental or become a bloodthirsty psychopath, he feels guilty about it and turns himself in but is let go and continues his life of fighting crime albeit with a heavier conscious.

I remember one when an older batman is out for blood when the joker goes to far. He mortally wounds joker and snaps his neck. But the joker stabbed him several times so he bleeds out beside him. In fact you show it at the end
Great video. I realize from a story perspective, why the Joker can never truly be killed. In real life, though, while I get the "I never want to kill anyone. " idea, after the Joker's first mass murder, he definitely should have killed the Joker without a second thought. That would have been the truly moral thing to do. Now, I know someone will say, "but, if Batman kills the Joker, he will be poisoned by the Joker and become worse than the Joker. " Maybe, but probably not if he kills the Joker before he figures out Batman's rules.
Batman didn’t kill Joker in Arkham Knight or City. In Knight, that scene was hallucination Joker clones, and in City, Joker made Batman accidentally drop his cure by stabbing Batman’s shoulder.

The necksnapping is actually a pretty intresting Choice. Batman has to be close, to do so, he uses his hands, it's a very personal and intime way to end someones live
