  • Now with music! Colorful sky post-sunset and the Milky Way in this time lapse sequence from Florida, November 3, 2018. This was shot from the end of a dock. The lighter areas in the water on the left are small islands that get covered up as the tide rises. (You can see them before it gets dark.) As the evening progresses clouds creep in and eventually cover most of the sky. Total real-time was about 8 hours (until the battery ran out!)
The very bright object towards the end is Mars, and the blue star to the left is Fomalhaut in Piscis Austrinus (bright at magnitude 1.17) Per EarthSky.org, "Fomalhaut lies in the constellation Piscis Austrinus the Southern Fish. Its name means Mouth of the Fish in Arabic. This irregular circle of stars - visible in a dark sky - represents the fish's open mouth." I didn't know that!
This is the first time lapse that I've really used the "LRTimelapse" tool to create - a bit of a learning curve; it will be faster next time.
    Looks best with 1080P HD!
