Deep field photos are, in my opinion, some of the most meaningful art pieces. They really put into perspective our place in the universe, and the scale of universe. I have a few of them as my desktop background, and I stare at them for minutes several times per day. I always wonder how much life exists in those pictures.

Excellent video! Where is the telescope located, and how did you go about getting time on it? In sure many of us would like to know more about the process.
The telescope is in Spain and is part of the Telescope Live network, anyone can buy time on it. (Of course, he should have mentioned that in the video ... along with actual technical details of the telescope, the price is meaningless.)
teneriffe - canaria - spain, el teide national park is a caldera light free and dry all the year at 2000meters, the observatory is open for visit, and i guess if you are student, or have a project, they can allow you time of use...i'm not sure iif renting is possible, since they are public founds, not private telescope...he probably ask one night and saying he was youtuber... an example in france, the pic du midi can be rent with 40cm mirror...one night for 14people its 460€/pers, so lets say 7500€/night, if you are a company you can also make buisness reunion there and rent the whole site. the objective is to make enough money for buy stuff, pay people in addition of public found.

Since you discovered new objects, will or have you submitted them to be added to whatever sky catalogue may be appropriate? Perhaps you could identify one of the Galaxies you discovered and name it the “Milos” galaxy!
Im pretty sure we already know about them, scientist know about different solar systems lightyears away that would take billions of years using a rocket ship to get there. Though if he somehow did find a new solar system which would be really rare

What is the little telescope you are using at the beginning to search for a suitable spot to view? I'm new to Astronomy and looking for a decent scope. Why do some suggest a big Dobsonian to start with? Thanks! Edit: I already have the infamous Powerseeker 127eq. Honestly it's not as bad as a lot of people say when you have a decent eyepiece. Help!!

probably a new sony full frame with a high iso. the sony a7III can expand the iso to over 200,000 so hes probally using something close to that to capture all the stars while recording video

Full frame Nikon D610 and Samyang 14mm, f2.8 will do the job Pretty decent used equipment that I paid 500 euros for. - Full frame and 14mm will give you a wider field of view - f2.8 will allow for more light to be collected faster Of course there are much better lenses and cameras out there if your budget is unlimited, but if you are on a budget this will do the trick.
This was a good idea for a project! But how can you NOT mention the seeing during your exposures? It is just as important as exposure time for detecting faint, distant galaxies. The lack of atmospheric blurring is why the 2.4 m HST was able to go deeper than much bigger ground-based telescopes. Buying increasingly expensive telescopes doesn't effect the seeing, unless you start getting into adaptive optics, or put them in orbit. But now you can make a very interesting video about how much more you could detect on the SAME telescope with good seeing compared to poor seeing.
