Doesn't work on newer models. My 2008 Buick lacrosse super has cables on each end to pull out that releases a tap holding the seat in. Unfortunately my passenger side is stuck and wont release no matter how much I try. I've tried janking and pulling on the strap. I've tried manually pushing the small lever on the back side of the clip by forcing my hand under the seat but no go. I've tried using rope and wire wrapping around it to help pull that tab in so could release it and still nothing. I gave up when using the L side of a small crow bar to hit and pull the tab in even after using my hand to make sure it was in the rt place. Still nothing. 😢 just made my arms sore and gave myself out.
