Purchased my first 100 shares of QCOM in 2011 for $48 so any insight is always welcomed. Almost let it go in 2023 but my father said be patient with the market. Let's hope the AI optimism continues!

@titan-0016 Bottom line, I'm making my bets based on price action. QCOM has 1/8th the annualized price gains compared to top dog NVDA. Also, NVDA has ATHs almost twice as often. I rebalance my holdings weekly based only on price-based factors like these.
Bet on the fastest horse, but keep an eye out for the one with the biggest heart.
you only see snapdragon on samsungs devices in usa, not in teh rest of the world. Seems like all big boys work on their own chips, apple/samsung/google etc
And big boys phones suck.. moved from OnePlus 7t to latest pixel8 pro and never seen such lousy connectivity...
Because it just make everything easier if you do all the things in-house, instead of depending on you partners (not just accepting a change can conflict, both want to get a bettet position, but sometimes you also need to wait while thr othrr partner grow up to that technology level what needed for the next step), im not saying that Apple did the M1 in a blink, but just to copy that technology required 4 years for their best competitor (and mostly because the different companies wanted focus on different things..), this is the difference if you all look at the same direction (where the company looks), or when everyone has his own preference and you need to make compromises to achieve anything (which just add a lot of unnessesary time to reach the result, while you make those compromises, basically everything stopped, or at least slowed down until you and your patner decide the result)
