M12-1.75 has the same diameter (12) but another pitch thread. It's not a fix because the thread in the oil pan will get even worse. You should go to the next bigger bolt. In this example a M14-1.5 . You have to cut a new thread in the oil pan for the bolt
This is not a permanent fix you have to tap it larger because the nominal holes sixe is not correct

If you stip out the threads, why do you fill oil in the engine 😸
M12x1,5 and M12x1,75 is the same diameter. Should go for M14x1,5 instead.
