- Friends, we are finally in the motherland!. It’s been almost 5 years since I have been back in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. We are a married couple who have been living in the UK for over 20 years, we are making plans to return back home to Zimbabwe to settle. We are building our homestead in Mashonaland Central, Bindura. Our mission is inspire other diasporians who wish to go back home by showing them that it is possible for them.

Guys your story inspires a lot of people. I am so humbled to see couples who went through this diabolical british immigration system, coming out with both your heads held high. God bless your endeavours❤.

That's very true, life is different for everyone, what works for another person might not work for you

Hi I'm new here residing in Pretoria i love what you are doing guys
Thank you so much for watching our videos we appreciate you 🙏🏿
Bravo👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Likes and subscriptions aside, talk about money for the tickets for the whole family to fly back home, talk abt the bricks, digging foundation, cement bags, river sand, wages for the builders, where you are living now while house is being constructed. That kind of info is what people need to assess if this is for them. Kisses and hugs and driving in well tarred roads and being up in the skies is not part of retirning home challenges! You presenting a European lifestyle but talking abt going back. If one is one those affluent ones in Zim be open and not mislead people. Zim is hard and not a joke.
Response coming from Mrs Tandi : Firstly thank you for taking the time to watch our video and we appreciate your suggestions. Every country has its challenges but that doesn’t stop it being your home country. I’m sure most people are well versed on the challenges Zimbabwe faces. As for costs we also talked about money in our Q&A you can watch it here 👇🏿

Mr Ndlovu I would like to also like to refer you to 🇿🇼MrsMum and Archie and Sammy they provide a good breakdown of costs.
@@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife I must apologise to you. I took your channel rather too personal. It's your project, I m very sorry to have spoken like I did. Whether you are returning home or not, it does not concern me. I m sorry.
@@victorndlovu663 it’s okay I understand that this is an emotive topic it’s easy to make it personal. Apology accepted my brother 🤝🏿

How is it living in Israel especially with everything that’s going on ?. What have you been doing there and where is home for you?.
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
Home is not as bad as people tell u it is
No it’s not and that’s the perspective we would like to share with others so that they can understand that home is still an option for them also.
Wow 🤩
Good parents love the way yamaraira vana
Remember life is not the same for everyone one, what works for someone else doesn't necessarily mean it's going to work out the same for everyone, home is best, the question is, is it for you? I have learned not to live other people's lives, even with my own siblings, our paths in life are very different! I'm in the US, and I know of someone who thought they had it all figured out, went back to Zim, within a year, were back in America, left behind their mansion, and it's now a Airbnb and they're happy back in the US, vanhu should look at their own lives and not compare with others, all the best to those who are happy being back in Zim
Sometimes in life it’s better to have tried than to wondering what if. Life is different for everyone hence why I including our introduction who we hope will find benefit from our journey. I know that there are plenty of people who are content with life in the diaspora and that’s fine hatingafanani tese we can’t all be the same. Personally I admire the courage of those people who have tried regardless of it not working out as hoped. Thank you for your contribution to the community 🙏🏿
@@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife that's very true what I meant is that life's circumstances can change as we all know that life does at times for the best or the worst, I don't know of anyone who doesn't want to come back home, but for various reasons, they're staying put, my sister and brother in law, are wealthy ever since, they've got farms, homes etc, but they left it all to come to the US for medical reasons, my brother in law was complicating from diabetes, they had no intentions of staying in the US, but it's been years now, of them going backwards and forth, but his health has been declining, they've stayed, not because they're comfortable in diaspora, but they had to make a choice, her husband's life or no medical care for him back in Zim, that was my point, they'd be back in Zim in a heartbeat, but life's not the same for everyone, it's not about trying, or not trying, the question is still the same, is it for other people? Thank you for your vlogs, I am enjoying them, God bless 🙏
That’s true there are always a diversity of reasons why some people have ended up staying in the diaspora. That’s a worthy point that you have made. I know people who have come over here because they have children with health conditions that they can’t get help with in Africa. I’m working on a project to bring these peoples voices into the conversation. It’s being stuck between a hard rock and hard place zvakawoma.
😍😍😍❤❤❤

@@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife I'm Zuruvi from Mhondoro Nyamweda
I went home after 15 years. There was no one waiting for me at the airport. I have to ride a combi. But they still expect me to give them money.
That’s really unfortunate that happened to you and I understand what you mean fully the money and support side of things it’s seldom talked about.
Home is best most of us who are far away appreciate home the most..
Yes that’s true. You almost need to go away from it to appreciate it more.
Wow that's great Guys, Home sweat Home
Hang on a minute. You are going and leaving the kids alone????😮
What do you mean ?.
@@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife you have gone to Zimbabwe and left school age children alone??
@@faithb4236 I’m going to assume that you skipped over the part where we were talking to the children before we left because if you listened to that part you will hear us telling them to listen to my Mama Eupha’s (my sister) instructions because she was staying with them.
@@TheTandisLivingtheGoodLife nope my dear i didn’t skip anything. Its not clear from that conversation someone is staying in the same house.
@@faithb4236 it’s clear if you listen closely enough otherwise it may be that you need to increase the volume. Thank you for your concern though.
