When it comes to shipping goods to ZiM I prefer buying my own vehicle, make my own crates for goods like solar panels, load it myself and make sure that I am in ZiM, at the boarder for when the truck arrives. I will explain in the next episodes

We applied for rebate (clearing goods as returning residents) which unfortunately we weren’t granted due to minor discrepancies on the documentation we provided, One good thing that came out of all that was that we paid the duty in ZiM dollars. All single cab trucks are classified as commercial vehicles so duty is paid in the ZWD and double cabs fall under the ‘luxury’ category and duty is paid in USDS and a lot of them
