An Ex Cop trying to be nice .... ??? then saying he thinks her judgement is crap !!!!!!!!!! HE still has a ar in good condition that is worth 2000 to sell AGAIN. The Plaintiff is just stupid for letting this all happen and getting high and drunk instead of paying off her debt. I don't think she wanted the car in the end when she realised the actual cost of gas and parking and insurance. That's why it "broke down" and she tried to get her money back. This said. 2100 is a VERY cheap car ...
I wonder.......if the owner of the car, felt attracted to her (besides being young)....thus why, he let her USE the car with his registered plates!! He's a cop, he shoulda KNOWN better!
Most people would remember getting $330.00 cash from someone unless they are like a landlord getting multiple payments from different people all the time. Also the assertion from the plaintiff that she left her mechanic's report in the car. So her mechanic doesn't retain his own copy or records. Total BS.
It's always someone else's fault! She didn't do anything she was supposed to and he was very fair with her. She needs to grow up and start taking responsibility for her actions.

NEVER, NEVER let someone, especially a stranger, drive a car under your name. NEVER. He even knows better. Unless you want to lose everything you have.
I never understand why anyone would give a car to a total stranger without getting full payment first and saying, "I trusted her/him". Once they have the car the incentive to pay is gone. The ex-cop shouldn't be so dumb. That's his wife? I thought it was his daughter. Weird.
If you sell any vehicle, never, never, ever allow the purchaser to take posession of the vehicle until the full amount is paid and the title is transfered to them. They may seem nice, you may think you're helping them out, but until that title is transferred, that's still your car. If the purchaser gets into an accident or injures someone, the injured party is coming after you. And don't let them use your plates while the paperwork is transferring. Trying to help someone often comes back to bite you in the ass.
Not that I’m on the chicks side 100%…but isn’t it weird that the mechanic was going through the car ? Like ? You don’t need to search the glove box or read every piece of paper in a vehicle to determine MECHANICAL issues…that’s just straight weird that he was going through it tbh…
@@cathittson8312, I think it would be his car again as she broke the contract. So all the plaintiff's evidence was conveniently in the car that's no longer in her possession. Was she living in the car? Well, I suppose she doesn't have a dog, so she can't say the dog ate it.
What dealership lets someone drive off with the car in their name? None. And you don't have to be a dealership to sell a car. Although he was stupid for letting her drive a car in his name in the first place, but smart to ensure it was insured. They clearly had a contract (verbal), he was just dumb not putting it in writing. One of his many foolish actions.
@Cindi McCullough apparently you have never been to a court room, most people that have no license and get into car accidents do not get pampered. Not at all. Go visit your local small claims court or city court and see how they are pampered, for you will see you are so off wrong.
The guy that sold the car was so nice to her. Why did she have to abuse that? It's ridiculous. That's why people don't freely help anybody anymore because they get taken advantage of.
But how are you going to transfer the title, without the buyer hasn't finished paying for the car? If the buyer has the title, can sell it in a heartbeat for cash, and never pay the seller in the first place.
Shows he bias towards cops. He was lying knowing this. He did not present a shred of evidence of blunts or dope. His buddy mechanic needs to be exposed. He had zero business going through anything in that car.
I guess it got overshadowed by all the other ridiculous things that both parties did, but I'm surprised they didn't make more of an issue of the plaintiff not paying off the rest of the money on Feb 20.
