#1 they were only together 5 months and this much chaos ensued. I'm glad she's out of there. #2 I'm sure he's nervous, but the smiling at inappropriate times made me very uncomfortable. #3 I don't care what gender you are, you should not be hitting your partner. If she was only saying things to make him mad, he should've walked away or learn to control himself. If she was physically pushing him, he definitely should've walked away before retaliating. #4 His pride was so hurt, I think he just said he found someone new. 🙄
Don't know what you have till you lose it! 😲 I had the most beautiful girlfriend, I wanted to spend my life with, but in my early 20's kept cheating and it fell apart! Going to be 60 this year 2024, still miss and dream of her! 😢 As ZEPPLIN says "No bodies fault but mine"! Or the DOORS "PEOPLE ARE STRANGE"
You never ever put your hands on a woman!! If she gets under your skin or hits you, walk the hell away for a reasonable amount of time for the two of you to calm down!! PERIOD!! It doesn't make you a weak man, it makes you a wise man and understanding.
As wrong as it was for him to put his hands on her, it seems pretty obvious to me that she also put her hands on him which is also wrong. Just because he is a man doesn't make his wrong worse than hers. They both had smug faces throughout and were/are equally toxic people.
There is NOTHING that can warrent someone staying in an abusive relationship. Doesn't matter if you have a kid with that person, doesn't matter if you been in the relationship for a decade.
One example of many on why you don't move in with someone after 3-4 months of knowing them. He is abusive physically and verbally. I hope she has learned something by this and doesnt get herself into another bad relationship, especially with having a young child.
Plaintiff had to be high as a kite. Every time he giggled, I wanted Douglas to throat punch him, especially when he was admitting he hit her. Then at the very last second, tries to say she started it?? Yeah I don't think saying "yes" when JM asked if she had it coming was a slip up, especially when he tried to justify that answer with some last second BS. I'm glad he lost, I consider it punitive damages even though it wasn't said. I hope he gets anger management before he does something worse to his supposed "new girl."
The old saying is “A slip of the lip will sink the ship” He just experienced this, lol. Oh yeah, and my advice for the girl, run away from this abusive jerk!!
She was very nervous although giggling- he trying to say love hate relationship- Judge said HELL NO- Listen if someone punches you once is more than enough You get out she made the right move - good luck to the next girlfriend which I think he lied about he just said that for her benefit. Snake 🤨 horrible guy.
I believe it, I had an ex stalk me for two years while he "dated" several different women. She should write off her furniture and just have no contact with him. I hope she doesn't live near him, he seems like he is on something too.
I've found someone new, but he's been smiling the whole time looking at her and acting like a smitten kid when the judge mentioned about him wanting her back.
1. She should have left the first time. Of course it would happen again. Like the judge said it is just "in" him. 2. She is a liar. She totally agreed to paid half!!!
Of she was pushing him first then he has every right to defend himself you women have been wanting gender equality for many years but not when it comes to your consequences then you act like you are abused!
If there's one thing I've learned from The People's Court it's that if someone asks to borrow money and that they will pay me back with their tax refund that I would definitely never ever see that money again if I let them borrow it. 🤣🤣🤣
THE REASON YOU DATE FOR A YEAR OR SO....DONT LIVE TOGEATHER...DONT HAVE SE##..IS TO SEE IF YOU ARE COMPATIBLE....AND YOU DONT PUT YOUR SELF IN RISK OR DANGER....OR YOU'LL HAVE THIS MESS EVERY TIME.. LIFE IS A LONG ROAD...NO HURRY
The plaintiff was wrong for putting his hands on her, but this is court and the case wasn't even for assault. Usually I'm all for the the judges decision, but she totally milked the he hit her situation that she herself never reported to rhe police. Judge was totally biased
I agree, she milked it. But i don’t think that the judge was biased, cause the guy said allot of stupid stuff to his own detriment. He’s an idiot who needs to get some anger management. She moved in with him after two months, i won’t be suprised if she get another guy like him.
This was sich a ridiculous case. It was actually about unpaid bills owed and a counterclaim of furniture but everyone seems to forget that. Instead JM made this about spousal abuse and ruled based on personal feelings and not facts. The facts are she owed him for bills prior to leaving him and he had proof. Just because he hurt her doesnt mean the law doesnt exist. This case would be different if she had included cost of moving due to unsafe environment then the violence would actually effect the outcome of the case
This 1950s rhetoric about women can't be wrong is antiquated. The fact that she put her hands on him first as justification for anybody to defend themselves. Another starch example of the sexism display bar court system, and the female judge in particular. The showmen stood zero chance of succeeding for the moment he stepped into the courtroom. Even though this toxic loser who took advantage of him and assaulted him first gets away with everything. Shame on them
I dont know about all the extra ish you said, but I do agree that there was gender bias in this case. Both parties agree that she owed and did not pay but that was never taken into consideration while ruling.
What is a mild punch?.im proud of this lady for walking away from this environment.some people stay.i hope the number of these situations continue to detonate.best wishes to her and her son as well on their journey as a family.no more toxicity.

nah... he's a broke ass Fool.
He thinks this is a big joke.
I’m so glad she got outta there!!! He’s scary.
The fact that she hasn’t filed a restraining order means there’s something else she’s not telling us
She's a gorgeous girl. With him it's all about control with him. Guaranteed he's already on to the next victim
Been with my husband 33 years…he has never even hugged me too tightly. This guy is DANGEROUS.
A-Men
Wow!! Doug, you are too easy on an abusive person. Oh, he’s the right persuasion!! Got it
Ladies, also men, please do not settle for LESS! Do not pursue. It will save you from a lot of pain & disappointment
He has this, attitude that he will wait until they are out of court and come after her.
He thinks he is all that.
He's so gross 😢
This young lady has her arms crossed, she's on guard from the beginning!! Her body language says it all
Yet another single mother who has an excellent taste in men
Don't know what you have till you lose it! 😲
I had the most beautiful girlfriend, I wanted to spend my life with, but in my early 20's kept cheating and it fell apart!
Going to be 60 this year 2024, still miss and dream of her! 😢
As ZEPPLIN says "No bodies fault but mine"!
You must be delusional.
He definitely fits the description
Anyone else notice how the Plantiff couldn't even control his hands in the beginning😬
The old saying is “A slip of the lip will sink the ship”
He just experienced this, lol.
Shes beautiful.
That’s not the law. She should have had to pay. Period
He was a complete idiot! Kudos to her for leaving. No one should punch anyone.
He needs to be get a grip. Sighh
That hair flip though!!
1. She should have left the first time. Of course it would happen again. Like the judge said it is just "in" him.
2. She is a liar. She totally agreed to paid half!!!
He actually believed they're in a love/hate relationship. He's scary because he thinks this is love.😮😮😮
I agree with the verdict. Why should she pay rent at a place she is unsafe in?
The plaintiff is not ok. He really thinks this is all normal behavior. He is going to learn a lot the hard way.
Of she was pushing him first then he has every right to defend himself you women have been wanting gender equality for many years but not when it comes to your consequences then you act like you are abused!
She knew he owed him rent money.. Pay your half of rent, get your furniture and move on.. They both seem really toxic.
If there's one thing I've learned from The People's Court it's that if someone asks to borrow money and that they will pay me back with their tax refund that I would definitely never ever see that money again if I let them borrow it. 🤣🤣🤣
Why don't these women file charges against these abusive men.
She pushed him, press charges on her as well
THE REASON YOU DATE FOR A YEAR OR SO....DONT LIVE TOGEATHER...DONT HAVE SE##..IS TO SEE IF YOU ARE COMPATIBLE....AND YOU DONT PUT YOUR SELF IN RISK OR DANGER....OR YOU'LL HAVE THIS MESS EVERY TIME..
She was.
I agree.
"She was asking for it."
"Yeah.😏😏😏 (Realizes his mistake) NO!!!😱😱😱"
"That was a bad answer."
50/50 he should be ashamed of himself
He’s rubbing his hands several times… just like before a fight
Re-upload... I'd recognize that thumbnail anywhere.
Nine out of ten re-uploads these days 26 years worth of content and we're getting the same thing on repeat🤦🏻♀️
Yes
What is a mild punch?.im proud of this lady for walking away from this environment.some people stay.i hope the number of these situations continue to detonate.best wishes to her and her son as well on their journey as a family.no more toxicity.
