    These are excellent cars, and in my opinion, the best 3 series ever made. The balance of reliability, handling, and build quality is unmatched. Quick note, those wheels came on sport pack 330i and pre LCI 335i’s, not 328i’s (regardless of sport package or not) so those wheels are mods

      @@JRB41 Thank you for the info! I updated the description.
      I agree with everything else you say here. It's a very balanced package. Kind of the last classic 3 Series in terms of size and general feel. The F series got larger and went more upscale.

    i love the increasing buzz about the e9x n52 platform. there’s a ton of valuable, in-depth information and reviews on repairs/maintenance/mods, you name it

      @@astig_pangit Agreed, these are a bargain for how awesome the platform is.

    its a perfect car, the mpg is rough, but the steering feel, my god, the pump is a bit messed up which made steering a bit tough, but it worked out so well, it feels like youre in a go kart and the v6 gives you just enough power to buzz around the city and handles corners beautifully, so affordable and beautiful.

    • @M-t3ch

      @eggtastic3555 I agree with everything you said. However, the engine is an inline 6. Much smoother than a v6.
      If you say v6 to a BMW person they will crucify you lol.

      @@M-t3ch nvm it is i6, forgot cus half the engines hidden by the dash, only see like 3 cyls, the other good thing about it is the smoothe power delivery, compared to the 2 nissan and toyotas ive driven, they jus cant compare to how smoothe the gas and brakes are on the bmw, perfection

    Get the 330i intake manifold and a tune from bimmworks and it really wakes the car up

    This chassis will def be on my list for a "sick beater"
    The last E chassis 😢❤

      @BeatersAndCompany Yes! Admittedly, being the last E chassis, they are a lot nicer than the older ones lol.

    I used to have a 2009 E60 with the same 3 liter engine, the N53. The first 100,000 miles were great. Then things started to go wrong. 2 injectors died and I replaced all six. Very expensive, it's a gdi engine. Then I got several oil leaks and at 116,000 miles the headgasket started to leak and without any warnings hydrolocked and cracked cylinder #6 😢 You are better of with the N52 engined cars.

    • @M-t3ch
      @M-t3ch  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @gertstolk What is the N53? I've never heard of that engine. Sorry to hear about your e60 though, that blows.
      The N52s are stout! A lot less regular consumables than the older Mx series engines, too.

    • @gertstolk
      @gertstolk 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@M-t3ch the N53 was a 3 liter direct injection normally aspirated engine in several euro-spec BMWs used from 2007 till 2011, magnesium block and aluminum head. Maybe BMW did not put it in US-spec cars 🤔

    how does it feel compare to the e36?

    • @M-t3ch
      @M-t3ch  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It feels more refined, more like a 5 Series. Quiet, comfortable, etc. However, it still retains some of the driver's feel that we liked out of the older ones. I think this was the 3 Series generation that still retained some level of driver's feedback. The newer ones feel more upscale and refined, losing their character that made us like them in the first place.

    E90 retains the classic bmw feel with excellent steering. Numb steering? you don’t know what you’re talking about. F30 has numb steering. And good luck finding a manual e90 with sport package for $3-4K. It’ll have multiple owners, unknown service history and oil leaks up the Yin Yang. A good one will be at least 8k in today’s market.

    • @M-t3ch
      @M-t3ch  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @NA-xfi Did I say the steering is numb? If I did, the more proper word would be "muted." The driver's feedback is there, it's simply less im your face than older cars. I thought it was lovely!
      As for pricing I agree. My friend got this one cheap, but it needed some work. Still, sub 10k for a nice one is a great deal in my opinion!

      Only the Autos have Drive Sport. The manual and auto has DTC but this is a traction control thing. Drive sport in the Auto changes the shift points.
