2009 BMW E92 328i | Is This BMW's New Performance Bargain?

  • Welcome to the 2009 BMW E92 328i. In today's video, I will go ahead and review this vehicle as well as explain why I believe it might be the next greatest performance bargain to come from the Bavarian automaker. This is a personal vehicle of mine that I intend to build for the track with the help of a close friend. As such, it is not fully stock and features a set of KW V1 Coilovers, BMW Performance Axleback, AA Catless Headers, Secondary Cat Delete with a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator, and a set of Apex EC-7 Wheels in 18x8.5 all around to complete the OEM+ look. Everything from the vehicle's performance and driving dynamics will be covered, so be sure to stick around to the very end. Thank you for watching!

325i as well I own 1 an I have mine sitting on B14 Bilstein coil over some Motegi wheels with muffler delete an resonator soon to remove the secondary cats and put vibrant resonator on top of a lot of maintenance work done an more to come an although as he said there not the fastest car to drive there really enjoyable especially high speeds on sharp corners in the hills an them tunnel pulls or long highway drives just sooth the soul 😮‍💨☺️ just hearing that exhaust then randomly gassing it sheesh I can’t complain

I’ve had my e92 328xi for over 7 years, and it’s in my opinion one of the best value for the money if you’re looking for something sporty, German, fairly practical for a coupe, reliable, easy to work on, and it’s got great comfort features and styling especially for its age.
The only bad thing about mine… is that I’m going to have to list it for sale within a week since we need something bigger like an SUV 😢. I’m definitely going to miss mine…
I remember watching one of your videos before I bought my BMW(I think you had a black 335i in black) when I was doing research on e92 cars. It was very useful. Thank you.

The impressive thing is the N51 with the 3 stage manifold. The car has guts. It is really the ultimate driving machine. And the connection between car an driver you won't feel anywhere else anymore
, other than a million dollars supercar, that is the 2010 that I have with m sport package. Just incredible never owned such a car with this driving experience like this one, love it.

Are you mechanically inclined or just a person who loves to learn?
Either way, I'm sure that there are certain jobs that are quite impossible to handle by yourself, pretty much anything that requires the engine to be removed or any sophisticated job like a serious transmission service.
I've been a big fan of E90's and E60's for too long :D wanted to get one so badly but it's just too expensive for me.
No doubt that the car in the video is one of the best sounding N52 engines I've ever heard, just beautiful man!
BTW, I'm not from the US, but California looks so beautiful and dreamy!

@@GamingHistory. Bro, I've been working on cars and trucks all my life. And BMW is no different. Of course there are some little things that can pull your hair out, but nothing anyone who knows can't do themselves with the right tools. Had to learn some small things but all and all the tech is going to be the same principle, with the use of computers or decent scan tools for that vehicle of course. The rest is a feeling to do everything yourself..and much, much, cheaper. Remember the mechanics charge for the (parts) and (labor) and that is what drives people away, not to mention the extra needed maintenance and time for exotic luxury cars. It's not like it use to be..! Now and days out of this world $$$. Anyway good luck, hope you find a project car, or Bimmer to start wrenching on...!!

bruh, the 328i E92 coupe 6MT is a gem; it gets overshadow by the 335i and the M3. With the right mods, the 328i can be an excellent daily and fun drive to car. Mine is a 328i coupe, 6MT, FBO SUPERCHARGED with a limited slipped differential. I'm pushing more power than an M3 with more reliability. Only issues: common BMW (i.e. oil leaks) and other periodic maintenance maintenance that normal cars have. Trust me, I had a 335 FBO, and it was always something breaking. I even smoke n54 450hp fools because my car is light asf too. This is where all the 335i fools get it all wrong.
