Fixing My 350z's Misfire Again! (Detailed)

- Fixing the misfire that is giving me P0327. Replaced my knock sensor and harness, spark plugs, and checked my injectors. Detailed video so anyone can replicate this!

Great vid just about to have a go on my sons 350z , you changed 1 injector did you find why the 2 pots where oily?

I replaced sensor and still comes out.
did the same job to my z, you can unplug the fuel pump fuse and crank a few times to get rid of fuel pressure in the rails, gas melts styrofoam so would of just leaked right through...
So you had an injector problem?
This is happening to mine I just changed all coils and plugs and it’s still misfiring and all gas smell and like 2 mpg but I’m not doing this myself too much shit
What's the torque specs on the lower plenum?
You ohm out a injector and you'll never know its clogged without doing a flow test which is more involved.

Hey Dr/Dr, I have a similar problem (never had it before) after I tried to clean my gasoline system with SEAFOAM. 3 days later car started hesitating (lost power randomly)so I went home and changed spark plugs double plat., checked coil oms (resistance 800-1000 omha), checked coil cable continuity (good), MAF clean with CRC, checked fuel pump (e-motor good and rubber plug good), cleaned Throttle body cleaned, checked for injector noise (all sounds good)...BUT! still NO ENG CODES and went for a test and still hesitate and black smoke (unburned fuel) thru drivers side pipe (muffler)
Do you know what else could be? or Anyone know what else could be?

So I'm guessing the plenum gasket was the issue? My 350z has the same type of pop at idle occasionally with a p302 cylinder 2 misfire code replacing the gaskets right now going to see if that fixed itm
I don't know if it was a plenum gasket or the knock sensor and subharness since I replaced it all at once. replacing it all fixed the code and misfire, though
@@MelMedTV Good! Thank for the reply I switched my #2 and #4 injectors and did my plenum gasket set at the same time and the gasket was my issue! CEL has stayed off and not gone to cylinder 4 so I'm stoked easy fix.
Did you just replace the "middle" gasket (6 holes) or both the lower gaskets too (3 holes) to fix your issue?
@@AGiraffeOnFire Neither, not the manifold gasket or lower plenum gasket the upper one. It's the biggest one where the plenum spacer goes.
Waffeey Ah damn I’m having the exact same issue as you but I have the aluminum kinetix intake manifold so the upper gasket isn’t an option in my case
No sillicon on gasket?
We’re did you get the coil packs ?
The junkyard. My local yard usually has a g35 laying around, and the coil packs are cheap there.

how about if u got the p0306 code
When you get a P0327 code 9 out of 10 it's the knock sensor wiring harness I know I've been through it
i think my sensor went bad itself lol. Im at 161k on Original everything
Most common fail part is the fuel injection wiring harness. The heat kills the plastic plugs. Z1motorsports for $125
I have the p0300 code and I replaced all plugs and coils and still have the same problem
Itz_ur_boy _kevin I changed my spark plugs and valve covers and valve cover gaskets and I’m still having this issue, have u solved urs yet? If so, what did it?

Fuel injector wiring harness. Comes with knock sensor harness from Z1motorsports....under $125
Once you change knock sensor you should be good...
