I didn’t have to cut and anything, the only splicing I did was the 12v switched I believe and my tach. I didn’t use the tranny plug and just tucked it out of the way because i have a th350. Very good harness for a factory computer, I also have recently switched to a Holley Terminator X setup on the truck and I have a video on that as well. I like the Holley kit way more and plus you don’t have to pay for a tune or pay for credits to tune it. It does it all on its own!
@@Joeyrayofficial yes I had talked to a few plp & all said terminator X is the way to go & you used the trucks computer or the one that came with the ls
@@anthonybaeza2215 I used the one that came with the ls, actually I used another one just like it cause the original had a tuner lock on it. A guy disabled the security code (takes like 30 seconds) and locked the ecu so no one else could tune on it. The person who owned the ecu before me had that guy do that so it wasn’t my choice but I contacted him and he told me he wasn’t going to send me a the file lol really stupid situation especially for an untuned ecu. That’s also why the term x is cool because you can’t tuner lock it, it’s ready for you to tune and the software from Holley is free. I definitely recommend figuring out what setup you want down the road and then doing some research on what terminator x kit to order. For example I knew that I want to make a lot more power later on and didn’t want to have factory style injectors so I went ahead and saved up for the EV6 style injectors and got the kit that came with those injector harnesses
Had small issue with this company. No electric fan relays and went to run External relays. Fans didn't work, 1 stayed on & never turned off. Turned out The plug had bad contact at the computer connection.
That may be why my tach never read right lol, I have a clutch fan currently so never messed with those wires other than tach and 12 volt but I also am not sure if it’s the wire or the tach is just cheap
I have the same harness and almost same year truck and was wondering how you got the plugs and wires through the little opening i tried but I couldn’t get it down so I was wondering how you got it before I go cutting stuff for room because I want my ecm inside and behind my glove compartment
I had to slowly feed it through from inside the cab and it really helps to have and extra hand pulling the slack under the hood, I’d start in the cab and push it out, there might be a few spots that seem like you’re gonna break something so be careful lol but it should be good!
Yes it would work! I have recently gone to the Holley Terminator X kit on my truck and I like it way better, if you buy the current performance harness in my video it’ll be about 500 ish and then you will need to get a tune or if you can tune it yourself that works! I didn’t know how to use hp tuners for the stock ecu. So with the terminator x kit it has learn mode and it’s pretty simple and it’s like $1200 so for me I had 500 in my harness for the stock ecu and 500 for a dyno tune so basically I had the same amount of money in it. I recommend the Holley if you plan on doing more with the motor than just stock or close to stock! But you shouldn’t need a tune if you have a stock motor and the same ecu for it! Hope this helps and if you have any questions I’d love to help with everything I have learned and you can also message me on Instagram if you would like @joeyrayfrank
If you go to Current Performance’s website and click “stand alone wiring harnesses” then select what you are looking for, for me it was 24x tooth reluctor wheel, there will be a few options. The first one is the one I used and I believe the second one with the blue/green connections to the ecu is the one you would be talking about! Don’t use my word though I would definitely call them and ask and do as much research as possible you may even find a better option!! Hopefully you get what you are looking for! Let me know how everything goes I’d love to hear about it 🤙🏼

My bad, it was one of my first ever videos posted so it definitely could’ve been a lot better! I actually run my truck on the Holley terminator x system now. Thanks for the feedback!
Do u have a video how to wire up the harness to the stock bulkhead?
I got a question them three red wires you had in you hand how did you put them on your stater could you show a pic or something visual
Hell yeah dood!
Can you share the wires color identification that go to the dash? My harness I have is not labeled.
I’m having that problem now
On some of the the correct performance wireing you had to cut & add correct Ports to it to fit on engine ? Asking wanna do the same on a 3rd gen 700r4

Good video
So LS to 350 doesn’t hook up the wire harness to the tranny?
Correct. No wiring to the 350, just need a vacuum line to the intake
Good work
Thank you
What exact wires did you use for the starter and alternator just basically from the bulkhead
Just the factory style wires will work fine, that’s what I’ve been using and it’s always worked for me
Work with drive by wire ? Or how would i convert my harness to work with drive by wite

Can I ask you some questions about this system please??
Yeah man! Whatcha wanna know?
I’ve got a bp automotive harness, similar to yours. My question is, how did you run your keyed 12v and fuel pump wire from inside the cab?
I found a spot on my bulkhead in the cab that was a 12v keyed source. And I run a direct wire from the fuel pump to the 12v keyed with an inline fuse
Bosch O2 sensors aren't great.
They worked great for me
