"Is it important to get wyrmlife crystals".. yes, ESPECIALLY once you have reached the Unmoored World. Only then you will realize how much crystals you are lacking
im in new game plys on ps5 and there was an update not long ago before i started NG+ and for me in my 2nd playthrough none of the quests or the griffin, or the duplcation method with the syphinx is giving me extra port crystals i have 5 ports and the 1 i bout with real money 6 total and i cant seem to get any more eaither my game is broke or that updae stopped you from geting more than 5-6
I don't know what happened with your unmoored world but when Im there I've always found wyrm crystals they're everywhere they even in those little red bean things but of course they're going to be there they're just you just got to know where to find them where to find them find them they're not hard to find with me

only being able to stock 999 of them is a crime same for the rest maxed out at 99
Tip for the unmoored world. Once you do all 4 beacons it halts the devouring of the world. However after 14days you can no longer sleep to regain HP and your pawn will have dragon aids. If you need full hp simply switch classes back and forth. It will give you and your pawn full HP. I did this on my second playthrough to properly explore the world.
(3rd unmoored run changing classes doesnt seem to work anymore.)

They patched it, you can't get hp back when you are in the Unmoored world by switching classes.
Dragon aids had me rolling
I would recommend running 3 thieves with plunder skill and 1 mage for heals. If you have wayfarer run that instead of thief with Sorc staff and daggers, plunder, skull splitter, augural flare and re-armerment. AG the dragon and hit it with skull splitter until staggered then order the pawns to “Go” and they will use plunder to steal the WLC from them at the same time you use plunder to do the same. You and both the pawns have a chance to steal WLC and you still get the ones from killing it.

Why do you use the augural flare? When should you use that one?
@@elibouleli place it before you go in for the skull splitter combo, it’s stamina heavy though so be aware of what you have left.
Also.. you can farm ferrystones by using plunder on ghosts and spectres at night, they have the potential to drop triple ferrystones
how do you plunder them you can't put them down like a bandit on the ground can you just plunder away?
Just plunder Griffins instead.
@@leomonchet971 I don’t know how to recognize their downstate, but I’ve seen it done. Also the passive steel ability for thief Works as well, and they don’t take a lot of damage if you’re not using an element on your blades.
@@NeirAA1 valid, there are just significantly more ghost inspectors at night on your travel with a higher drop rate for the fairy stone then Griffins 🤷🏾♂️

Seen a pawn stealing ferrystones off ghosts at night today. Not sure if it was from carve (standing stealing from attacking) or plunder ability.
I have 90 hrs in and just started new game plus, time to farm dragons and enjoy the world again, a few things i didn’t do and missed too so i probably have another 40+ hrs to go, love this game its so hard to stop playing.
This is a really great guide. I would suggest being a Thief, your main pawn is a Mage for heals, and the other 2 pawns be Thieves with Plunder to steal even more Wyrm Crystals.
Stagger the dragon and then tell your pawns to "Go!" and they'll Plunder more crystals for you.
Also, fight the ghosts at night to get Ferrystones.
Lastly, you can copy Eternal Wakestones you get from the Sphinx by taking the forgery guy. That's just a quality of life thing if you're concerned about getting the dragon aids and everyone dying
******DO NOT STAB YOURSELF ON THE DRAGON BEFORE THE FIGHT! You will miss out on the final boss fight and the rewards from said fight. Once you beat the dragon before you sit on the throne talk to the apparition guy (to the left of the throne) from the beginning of the game and he will let you redo the events and it will put you right back on the dragons back. THEN proceed to crawl around and stab yourself to enter the endgame.
I did it in my first two playthroughs but started skipping it on my third. I don’t need the 100 crystals and you get 0xp from the fight.

Use Wayfarer, Dragons Dogma sword, any staff and the Medusas Spellbow. Use the Gut and Run ability from the Thief vocation to deal massive damage to the heart, use the Silence ability from the Mage vocation to block the dragons magick, and have your main pawn be a Mage, have them equiped with frost magick and the Silence spell.
The one at harve village just runs away 4/5 times when he's halfway done

other dragons stay for 40 minutes at their spot while you grind them down with the starting daggers.
This one leaves almost always at half life... doesnt matter wether i use bad daggers or strong daggers with which i can kill him in like 1 minute.
So no, i dont need to become stronger and my pawn setup is fine.
@@ztullaub2823 Something as big as a dragon or griffin you can ride when it flees. just stand on its back and tap grab when your controller vibrates or you will fall off.
Another strategy that I've been using are the books that cause silence on an enemy. You can cast that on a dragon while they're just at the early stages of casting themselves. This will have two effects depending on when it is used during battle: 1. While the dragon is on the ground, it will simply stare at you for a few seconds. 2. This one I prefer to use the most, and that is when the dragon is up in the air casting magic. Using the book then will cause the dragon to fall to the ground as if you had stunned it :)
Sourcerer have an augment that increases the chance of getting targets to be set ablaze by boosting the chance of debilitations.. Im curious to know if that works with bump and lift? In that case you could just have a stealer theif in your group with smokescreen, and that augment running around stealing ferrystones for you all day.

Ten port crystals max and the sphinx madness quest gives a fake but the conviction will dupe a real one. Don't get fooled like I was

In new game plus she gives a fake part crystal instead of the real one. But the conviction will still dupe a real one. I didn't check and just immediately used the one she gave me and now I have two fake portcrystals I'm going to give to pawns that have dragonplague
I have gotten 6 port crystals so far, likely because i coppied one of them during the sphinx quest line.
The skill blessing is for one skill only like the vocation blessing. You cant upgrade everything. It even says in the text "Only one skill can be improved per person at a time"
The Ancient Battleground dragon doesnt respawn and there is 2 dragon spawns in Bakbattahl u missed (one next to the Shutram Falls NWest of Bakbattahl in the river and the other West also in the river next to Tomb of Al'Guttos) and 1 in East Vermund close to Frightful Hollow ( this one always flyes alway when he reaches 60% of his life, so i recommend using Martyrs Bolt Mage Archer Master Skill on this one)

Thank you for the video. So where would you recommend putting your port crystals (5) in the unmoored world to evacuate everyone successfully? Also do you explore the unmoored world for chests/bosses before or after the last beam? Thanks a bunch!
How did you get the rest of your map? I've tried just got my there it's impossible it seems, by misty marshes towards sacred arbor, the green part of the map??? It shows on a map i looked up,andy forager has items located on there.
ng + gives you entire map
For easy mode drake kills I use Warfarer with augural flare and skullsplitter, put a flare on the heart and then smash it with skullsplitter til it pops. Usually only need to do this 3 times max. For even more xp, equip Medusa’s bow and try to hit the last flare with the bow for insane xp.
Do these dragon re-spawn first play through before true end game???? Im still in first play through, lv 62 last part of a new godsway quest. Was thinking of farming these dragons before going into end game. But they don’t seem to respawn for me.
Larger creatures take like 7-10 ingame days to respawn. Just sleep 7-10 times at an Inn or your House and go back. Same has to be done in NG+
You get 2 runs in Unmoored World since it ends in 12 days...1st day you arrive kill everything then rest and on 7th day + kill the respawns. Then NG+ hits...rinse and repeat.
Weird, i finish the elf quest, talk to his dad but not see where the teleport is, i only have 2 from captain and grifin nest
How did you get that armor for your pawn
You can open the big door with the godsway sword from the start of the NG+

The only way to get more is to give one to the sphinx every ng run 😅
You can only use ten at any one time. Having more is useless except for trading or selling. You can get 5 from a playthrough via quests or finding the one in the Griffin's nest. You can get one more if you use the Spinx to duplicate one. You can then buy one from the Dragonforged for a total of seven (eight if you spend cash).

you want a good farm, just stay in the loop against grigori with 2/3 thieves and every time you are about to kill him pause the game and give your main pawn the crystals you get at the first kill 100 crystals, 6-8 crystal per plunder with the passive melee atacks and 20 with the skill if his heart is exposed
10:00 yeah 100% you can net 100 a dragon, you take your pawn as a mage with all the spells being support for stam and stats the other two theifs and give em the cheapest daggers in the game equip these daggers your self as well bring a couple stam items and butterknife that dragon to death, also use pillefier on the dragon when its down sometimes itll give you 20 crystals in one yoink, also i wonder if you bring 3 mages for constant infinete stam and use the spinx ring that negates dmg with a pair of daggers that inflict a lot of knock hmmm gotta test that out
you do not get the previous portcrystals in ng+
For the vocation skill buff, it only works for 1 skill at a time. I made the mistake of not paying attention to this detail so please don’t be me.
Well during the main story you don't get that many crystals post game I got over 100 for each dragon I killed. Which is why I'm trying to hurry up and get back to the post game. Also, does anyone know how long you can play in the post game before it ends?

You can favorite pawns so you can always go back and pick the ones you like
that dragon in front of that guerco cave path.. I killed it maybe 10 times and it just stopped spawning now I guess

Killed every drake/dragon I’ve come across, and NONE have respawned despite weeks passing.
Must have killed the dragon in ancient battleground months ago and still hasn’t reset. Getting worried respawns are wonky on Xbox.
@@JohnDoe-dr9ffyh I'm on xbox the one by the path to the cave I killed once and haven't seen it respawn since even though I have been forging rare items from the forger guy which is 2 days for every item so gotta be months in game time for me aswell

I've been getting port crystals from npcs I have a super high affinity with. They leave them on my house on Vermund.

anyone else noticing drakes are not spawning? I've rested an insane amount of in-game days, done multiple quests, explored multiple regions, etc. and none of the drakes i've killed have respawned. Is it a bug, or a nerf for some reason? I need dragon scales for upgrading but i can't find a drake anywhere because they wont respawn under any circumstances.
drakes should respawn after 7-10 ingame days only execption is the one in ancient battle ground (that one can't respawn). Otherwise check if there corpse is gone. Once the corpse despawns the next day a new one should be there (at least that has been for me the case)
And even better way to get fairy crystals or I mean Fairy Stones is the Sleep 3 or 4 days I think it's 3 always went 4 to be on the safe side and if you have a pork Crystal at the dragonforge guy you can spend three worm-like crystals and you can get three Fairy Stones without having to waste your money or your gold three Fairy Stones equals out to three wyrm crystals I mean you get 3 for 3 instead of having to spend $10,000 if you're trying to save up your gold to buy other things
Regrettably since the last major patch, the drakes rarely spawn and certain ones are especially susceptible to flying away before the fight ends. Not sure it has anything to do w/ the recent updates, though it’s different than my first play through. I can barely farm WC before the undermoor. If this is intended by Capcom, then it’s disappointing.
Run 2 theifs with plunder!!! I got 130 WLCs before i looted him!!!

Now I could be wrong, but after a few tests, it seemed to me like plunder only works once per enemy, so even if you and your pawn have it equipped it would steal twice

Most dragons don’t seem to respawn for me. The only one I seem to be able to fight multiple times is the one at dragons breath tower.
The ones at the volcanic spot respawn everytime, jst rest for a week. First go to the one on the left towards the beach, and the other one is in the lava spot. Kill all the enemies bfor attacking the dragon though bcus the enemies will fuck everything up for you during the fight against the dragon. But yeah thats my farming spot, i get about 30 sometimes 40 crystals everytime. They drop 15-20 each dragon. Jst rest or sit at the bench so you wont have to spend money at the inn, 7-9 days .
I can confirm that having a thief use plunder on a drake can net you up to 95 WLC. In one dragon fight my thief pawn stole 95 WLC. So I'm sure you can get more if you have more thiefs on your team. I only had 1 at the time. Now I run 2 thieves on my team when dragon farming for big Boi WLC

JFYI: Dragons take 14 days to respawn (for those that do respawn) so after you kill it you need to rest 15 days because you didnt kill your dragons as soon as you left the bed
That’s not true. I’ve gotten them to spawn after 7 days multiple times. Certain spawns I’ve heard take 15 but that’s not been the case when I’ve farmed them.

I've never seen that dragon fighting the cyclops, it's always just a dragon
You should really have mentioned that the Harve dragon will regularly just fly away. Once you have knocked it down once you should prepare to grab on its back if you want to finish it. Unless you kill it in that knockdown it will always fly away shortly after... even if you rip its wings.
It is true it flies away but if it does you're not doing enough damage. It never flew away in my dragon farming sessions, because I just perma stagger every drake, most of the times they can't even attack. Go with thief / warfarer and Skull Splitter + Masterful Kill. Spam Skull Splitter on the Heart and if it attacks just parry with Masterfull Kill.
Take one healer (or none if you're good enough) and 2 (or 3) more thiefs with plunderer with you if you want more WLC.
IL disappointed they only have drakes. First one that had the wyrms and wyvern. The only 4 elite dragon's at end game.
Yea, and also u could have get free upgrades when u defeated them. I miss that system. This one is nice, makes it killing them worth it to farm the crystals.
Capcom should have kept the dragon forging weapons when killing dragons, and remove the dragon's plague mechanic BS which doesn't help anyone it becomes a nuisance more than anything.

if you want to 1 shot a dragon i think magic archer is the only way.
You can only upgrade one skill at a time. One skill for you and one for the pawn. Cannot upgrade all the abilities. Choose your favorite two and move around

Think so, just takes a long time for them to Respawn. Plus some are random spawns so they won't always spawn in and you'll have didn't enemies there instead (which is the case for Harve)

Yep martyrs bolt most insane move in the entire game
Dragons always just dip before they die, doesnt matter how fast or slow i kill them. Melted one in a matter of seconds and he dips out in the middle of everything right before he could die. If this isnt a glitch than its just stupid.
Mine outside of Melva always runs think some are just programmed to. I don’t fight those dragons anymore.

Also, you can only bless one skill at a time, you cannot have several skills blessed and I feel like the One Day boost is kinda wasted, since it's only 48 minutes real time, because thats how long a day is in game to real life

Go to harve village sit on the bench 10 days each time the dragon spawns at top hill everytime if doesn’t sit extra 2 days take thief with plunder sorc with meteon mage solemnity use mystic spearhand main
Dragons are a pain in the ...in this game. I could only kill 2 of them (Melwe and ancient battlefield) because i used a ballista. Every other dragon fly away as soon as there are 3 lifebars left. No matter if i need 5 min or 45 sec, it's always the same bs. 3 bars left and it is flying away, even if i got it frozen on the ground. Must be a bug. No wyrmcristals for me. Level 52 now and magic archer not available because the dwarf is not where he should be.
If your not dealing enough dmg they will yeet away, if your Dwarf is out of place or mission is bug I just recommend trying to new game+, if you don't to go with those option, than just switch to thief and run it down with how good it is
if an npc is missing check the local morgue, sometimes people die even if they're far from you
@@mortya-4207 no matter if i play thief or spearhand, I can take 5 lifebars away in 30 to 45 sec, but as soon as there are only 2 or 3 left, it is flying away. This bs happened every time. And the dwarf is standing a mile away from where he should be. I threw him down a hill but the next day he is there again. A mile away. Maybe I'll do the first part of the game (melwe) over and over again to get wc.
@@gerhardlibal2229If you damage the wings, (you can see they have holes in them after enough damage) then they won't be able to fly away 👍 I recommend going after the wings ASAP.
The silence skill "Solemnity" from the Mage vocation will drop them to the floor whenever they start flying. If you have access to Wayfarer, you could run daggers with skullsplitter for the burst dps, mage staff with solemnity and for your third skill whatever you need (any shield ability would work nice for sustain)

I feel like this game is way too easy when it comes to combat. I don’t think I’ve died since after the first few hours of playing. I’m afraid to upgrade my weapons further.
So pretty much play the game and 40 hours later you’ll be ready to farm lol
I plan to go absolutely mad with levels so that I can use my bare hands to kill god! Built a Thief whos hands are rated E for Everyone!
If I can farm dragons to get more op I'm already too op. The hardest bosses are dragons so if I have to kill 100+ to level this stuff up then what's the point... I can obnoxiously do it already why would I farm to make it slightly easier. Hopefully this is jist to get us ready for hard mode and future dlc
