What i do is, buy them, wait 4 times on the bench, buy them, deposit in bank, till i've got 99 apples/grapes, withdraw all, wait 2 more days, half will ripen, deposit 50, wait a day, deposit 50. Get another 99, withdraw all, wait 1 day, deposit. When you get to checkpoint town, wait on benches till he shows up. Withdraw all 4 stacks, sell ripened, wait a day, sell the newly ripened, wait 1 more day, sell rest. Sounds a bit more confusing, but it basically saves like 17 storage interactions per trip.
u can also just buy the extreme discounted fish in harve and resale wherever they purchase high. idk where but I'm sure there's some landlocked town that can't fish?@@TheEgrigor

I just found the camping spot with the monster horde in the mist, and after defeating a chimera and 2 minotaurs, back to back, I got 2 Ferrystones AND AN ALLHEAL ELIXIR! Thanks so much for the info! Nice to know my absurd gem and mantle luck is carrying over from Monster Hunter!
Actually apparently that place is supposed to drop you Ferrystones the first time you defeat the monsters and only for the first time. Some people have it glitched and they always drop for them, but if it's working correctly you're supposed to get the Ferrystones only once.
I highly recommend running 2 thieves with plunder/lift if you’re going to be doing any kind of monster farming. They have a chance of steeling anything from the same materials the monster drops, gold, to wakestone shards and ferristones
At the Melve XP farm, you can sometimes get a cyclops or a golem to spawn in the same general field area where the griffon lands. Doesn't seem to be as consistent or frequent, but it is a nice little supplement to the grind with minimal extra effort.
The thing about the money farm, it's best to do it early as once you progress the Melve questline, that merchant will no longer be available to buy the fruits from. The only other replacement I've found is the merchant in the Borderwatch Outpost, but her stock of apples and grapes are a fair bit lower and overall not really worth doing anymore.
If that happens go to the Nameless village, the vendor there also was both apples and grapes on stock that refresh after one day and the bench/inn is also pretty close by so you don't waste time by buying/storing. The only downside is that the vendor once he restocks he only has two of each per day so the farm essentially is twice as slow but so far I have not encountered another fruit vendor that has the inn within a few meters which is the factor that saves most time. Also by then consider placing a portcrystal there since there's no ox-cart that goes to this village.

now that we know more about the game since it's been out a while, the most efficient way to level is to NOT LEVEL. beat the game at the lowest level you can, go into NG+ and hit up the dragonforged asap to get the buff that increases the amount of stats you gain per level. this is good for 2 reasons: -like any rpg, each level takes longer than the last, so a method that reduces the amount of levels needed to hit the stat cap saves a lot more time than you'd think. -leveling up too high is bad, because after the stat cap, all leveling does is makes it harder for people to use your pawn, and a lot of people will never spend the rift crystals needed to use your extremely high level pawn. avoid using anything that boost exp gains at all cost imo, otherwise you might level your pawn into irrelevancy.
You can select the storage box before you buy from shops to make it go straight to the storage and not to the player +Storage and inventory are different
0:55 Warfarer gets 50% of all DCP you gain and the rest gets divided to the other Vocations (rounded up, so extremely small advantage). So if you get 100 DCP, Warfarer gets 50 and all the other Vocations gets 5 each. This does not scale good, so Let's say you maxed 4 Vocations, the remaining 6 Vocations still only get 5 DCP each. So Warfarer provides no benefit whatsoever in that regard. With that said, i maxed it and by then all the other vocations were at rank 4, so when i started on them, i had some decent starting skills that made it feel much more interesting, so in that regard, it does provide some benefits.
I wish someone would explain to me the advantage of even having the war farer in the game cause I don't see it, if you use 3 vocations then you get 1 skill for each voc and no masters if you use 2 you get 2 of 1 and 1 from the other if you use 3 the same you might as well just play that voc and get 3 skills plus master skill. As far as dcp goes most of my other classes are leveled to far for it even to matter by the time go to get warfarer except trickster because I lvl that till I get the detect skill and then I never use the class again imo it's the biggest waste of space in the game

Thief can shred everything, but if a dragon is flying around in the air for example, you can just stand there and wait. But with wayfarer, you can play 95% thief and have a bow ready for such occasions. You can also swap to a staff to instantly get levitate while you're exploring. The benefits and options are endless, you just need to get better.

There is a spot of ruins in central Batthal region where at night you could encounter up to 2 golems and almost a guaranteed Wight all in the same area. And it's not so far away from town like that Golem in the Shrine is.
For the fruit/money trading. There's also a girl that you can talk to when you get to the first checkpoint town, DO HER QUEST!! go to the nearest city (it's part of the first actual main quest) and go to the vendor square. There's a brown medium hairstyle man with a black/brown vest and red shirt. The girl should be beside him, talk to him and than the girl for the pawn (shouldnt have to get this but hey when in stupid) can heal you passive skill and a ring. The merchant gives a 20% discount and I believe sells potions rings and food. 20% for just some fruit healing salve.
better golem farm is the purple glowing golems in volcanic area next to the forge respawn and have easily twice the medals on them then normal golems, plus electrum drops off them too
Fruits in my storage are definitely NOT going bad. I've farmed for several hours and haven't had that happen (I only do it on new characters). I put 99 ripened fruits in the storage, then I put 99 fresh ones (to ripen manually at checkpoint town). It works every time.
Nothing I have put in storage has reacted from time passing only when I take it out or hold it. Now I'm going to be super paranoid and spend a few hours testing this.
I haven't farmed it, but in my game, the spot you indicate as the spot the griffon lands near Melve has always spawned a golem. Every time I pass by this spot there's a golem there. Might be that in my game it's spawning the golem instead of the griffon since I haven't seen one there.
for the golem, you sometimes lose the camping kits, no? You say "just sleep from 3 to 5 days" but sometimes you get attacked and lose your kit, so what do YOU actually to, you have a lot of camping kits just in case? Or you're saying you did farm the golem and never lost any camping kit?
The jasper stones sell for 2700 gold at the rest site before the volcanic spring. im not sure how much money the other gems would fetch since i only had jasper, but i think they would be even higher. That's the best spot i could find for most gold for an item.
A lot of the “Top Monthly Pawns” have easy Quests set. “Recieve 1x Tarring Arrow - Award 12 Onyx” I always favourite any Pawns with these Quests and just cycle and complete their Quests while still in the Rift lol. Good amount of Gold Quick. W Community lol. Once you’ve completed a Pawns Quest however, it won’t refresh until their Arisen has slept at an Inn.
btw a trick to get perserved medusa heads is to 1 warfarer vocation 2 a dagger of your choice and a magik bow 3 bring sedative shot ability 4 just put her to sleep with pawns on wait and hit her head once wile grabed to her head once and voila ;)
I’ve been using the dragon at the ancient battle grounds. Get on a ballista, shoot the dragon with your first shot, save and quit and reload. Get on the ballista and shoot it again and it’ll die. Get the drake crystals and use them for either the dragon forged or sell them for 1500 gold a piece. Wait for seven days and go back and the dragon will respawn. Although sometimes I have come across a glitch where after reloading the dragon sometimes disappears.
@@Spidergod it respawned for me, but then after I shot it and reloaded the game the drake disappeared. I will have to see if it comes back. Haven’t played the game in a few days since I started playing FF14 again.
As for getting the fruit to respon in melve, it just takes resting on the bench for one full day. Don't have to go multiple days for the vendor to restock.
In terms of Discipline points, it is just much more fun to just play the game normally instead of trying to find ALL Seeker Tokens, or going into NG+. I would really like to know the kind of player (normal player, not a challenge runner) who does not have maxed or nearly maxed vocations by the end of the game 😅. Also, if you are going for Warfarer, there is an easy way to get XP and DP. Since it's on the way, get Magick Archer, get Warfarer, unlock Ricochet Hunter, go to a cave with a lot of monsters - like the one in Harve village since it's easy to get to, and then just start firing away Ricochet Hunter into the cave, then go a little deeper and fire again. Nothing will live, you get some XP, a lot of DP, and any and all materials from the cave and monsters themselves which you can sell or use. And for anyone who does not want to farm, simply having even one Thief pawn in your party that has both plunder skill and the passive steal skill will consistently get you a lot of loot including precious wakestone shards and ferrystones.
It's a solid ranged class, the meister ability I was literally 1 shotting griffins, but saps half your HP which you can't recover until you go to camp/inn/rest.
@gearzdesign yeah it is kinda bs how terrible some of the maister abilities are in regards to the downsides. I basically only use the Fighter and Thief ones and the Fighter one is not even that good just not much else for Fighter to pick for general damage imo. Thief is like god tier with no downside for being essentially completely invincible for around 30 seconds to almost a minute for me but depends on stamina. Then like Archer's sucks and it is better to just use Deathly Arrow. I did not even bother trying Warrior's.
@@quickpawmaudThe Magick Archers is OP... the more health it drains the more damage it does. I killed the final boss in under 10 seconds... that is something like 7 health bars.
If you want true exp farm Medusa for her bow, it's effect increases exp for hitting the last hit and it may be a bug but improving the bow grants a stronger effect, currently stacking bow and ring my kill exp makes a 400xp (ring only) turn into a 1.2k exp (last hit with the bow)
im playing spearhand until i unlock the battahl border. as soon as the story gets to that i'm sprinting around to unlock trickster, magick archer, and warfarer and then probly just playing warfarer so i can cherry pick the coolest moves. (yes i know i can get past the border any time, but wanted to do it naturally first lol)
The easiest way to make money is to hire the pawns that will give you 12 Onyx for 1 tarring arrow. Those sell for 2400 each in the Vermund. Make sure to favorite them so you can repeat daily (real time, not game time). I made about 400k in an hour.
Warrior makes the game feel like it's running at 10-15 fps. Compared to all the other vocations, every fight is like I'm standing in one of the slime enemies.
@@palegod Couldnt agree more. It's ridiculously slow, they really overdid it with the animation times. I couldnt realistically hit weak spots 2/3 of the time with how adhd monsters are moving around. Thief makes warrior feel like a paraplegia victim wielding baguettes...
@@palegod One word "Knockdown". Warrior is a bit slow, but downed monsters are even slower. Also, jump heavy attacks are fast and very strong. Use hammers for best effect and knockdown.
@@melanp4698 As a warrior, it is your job to stun and down monsters. You have insane tankiness and super high knockdown weapons for a reason. Also, with weapon sheathed, Warrior is just as fast as anyone. Just jump onto monsters and grapple them. I played mostly as Warrior, and trust me Warrior is extremely good. But you need to have some patience and understand what your enemy is doing and then act accordingly.
There is another golem near by nameless village which u can access at level 1 and there is a camp fire very nearby to that golem and that is a much better place to farm golems.
I decided to give warfarer a try, as it's a super niche vocation, but it helps if you have a main vocation that's lacking a style of attack, such as ranged or has weak melee attacks. So I made a warfarer warrior with warrior skills with my mystic archer for it's ranged attack, same can be done for Thief, or vice versa (ranger or mystic archer with ninja for melee). Major downside to warfarer is only 3 skills to use, and of course no meister abilities.
@@palegod And what would be the positives other than what I listed? Only reason I play a warfarer is when I'm on my warrior tank vocation and I want additional ranged attacks using magic archer for it's basic ranged attacks. Sure you level all vocations using warfarer, so I guess that's a positive. But in practice, the other vocations aren't really set up to have synergy between 2 different classes. Plus you lose out on major skills and overall you lose out on a lot of skills.
@@gearzdesign Augural Flare + Skull Splitter. Flare annihilates bosses, and thief is way more suited to dealing with random trash than sorc. Plus the bonus of having access to levitate at all times so you don't miss out on picking up an annoyingly large percentage of seeker tokens. Third skill can be Cutting Wind to engage enemies faster, or whatever else you want. Personally I don't think adding in a third is a good idea. It's tempting to pick up something else that's really overpowered, like spearhand bubble, but in practice swapping weapons so much just gets really clunky.
@@palegod Sorcs clear out trash stupidly easy, most trash is dead before I can even reach them on my warrior, sure, a thief can dash in and clear out mobs, but overall sorc is the superior vocation in this game for damage. As for bosses, as I've said, Sorc's in my group literally 1-2 shot the bosses with meteor. The positives you mention aren't really overwhelming in comparison to the downsides to the class. Like I said, it has it's niche place (adding in ranged attacks for melee characters without ranged abilities, or vice versa), but the negatives really hamper the class overall in comparison to pure classes.
@@gearzdesign you do not need to use rearmament to swap weapons. You can just go into your inventory and equip the weapons. It's not as smooth as swapping with rearmament but you gain your 4th skill slot back.
Some people have mentioned but there are 2 goldens near bakbattahl, I feel its more efficient since its near a city and also en route u can do goblin farms
Is there a good quick path to go from that camp to the spawn? going thru the tunnels seems to take forever im tryin to find a quicker path down and hopefully up to make it better
The fugacity augment, have you tested it on the pawn, how will it work, do the pawn's augment work the same as the player's? If you and your pawn both have it, do they stack?
Warfarer Dcp distribution: 50% of Dcp gained goes to the Warfarer vocation. The remaining 50% Dcp is split evenly between all the other vocations you have equipped as well. This can make the leveling process VERY slow if you have several equipped, but you technically can level them all at the same time, with all the core skills, but none of the miaster skills.
Wrong, 50% is divided by ALL other vocations, regardless if you have them equipped or learned or maxed. So even if you have only unlocked 6/10 Vocations, they will still only get 1/10 of the remaining 50%. So if you have maxed all Vocations except 1, it will still only get 5% of the DCP you earn if you play as Warfarer.
Possible patch on the Melve xp farm, it seems, for me at least, no matter what time of day i wait for, the Griffon is ALWAYS in the process of flying away over the mountains and never comes back or lands. Don't know if this is a fix (as of now this video is 2 weeks old) or if it's just bad luck for me.
Would it be best to just rush story to unlock game + and then play Lu through all content even side quest to maximize gameplay? I want magic arrow and it’s nearly at end game.
I personally would never suggest rushing the main game just for efficiency's sake because, this is Dragon' Dogma, and in this series, hyper efficiency does not get you much. If you want the Magic Archer vocation unlocked early, then you can run there and do the escort quest. However it is a very high level area with many enemies to get past. Personally, I would recommend just playing to have fun.
Doesn't leveling as Warfarer causes you to not level up your stats as good as other classes though? For example you would get average stats bias instead of more magick levling up as a mage or more strength leveling up as a warrior? 🤔
I play Warfarer with only the Magic-Archer weapon equipped (since I don't use the ultimate skill + cosmetics 👀) and I still get xp for all of my other classes, even tho I never equipped them as Warfarer
@@Souzz__ no, I haven't finished the game yet. Just unlocked every class but didn't even equip them. My Fighter, Warrior, Thief, Archer and Trickster are all level 4 or 5 and I never even played them. It just takes a lot of time but I'm visiting every corner of the map so I'm fine with it, it's just passive xp for free basically! And it started doing this while I didn't even have Warfarer level max so yeah, seems to be right of the bat.
Not sure if it repeatable but petrifying the Medusa got me 16k xp. So I’m gunna test it when I’m home. Only issue is that farm would take 2 ferry stones per run Might be a little bit less because I have a ring that gives you a little bit more xp Haven’t tried it with her bow equipped yet
i wish i knew that warfarer also passively upgrades the others, i’ve been going through each vocation leveling them up individually fml lol. would’ve saved sooo much time. i only got Thief and Warfarer left
On a first playthrough you are much better off maxing out each vocation individually since you'll actually learn how to play that vocation and you'll likely see familiar scenarios in a different light. Plus Warfarer is useless if you don't know how to use the other vocations since it is basically all of them. You could also just look up everything and not care, but I would only suggest that if you do not have time in real life to play.
i just switched to warfarer from magic archer and did notice that my base magick went down by 40 points... so you're trading off damage for the ability to be versatile just so everyone knows..i do like that i can swap to a staff and levitate when i'm trying to reach those dang seeker tokens!
I believe that's from the Warfarer vocation skill "Rearmament." It allows you to equip multiple weapons, and then you use the skill to switch to that weapon that you have qued in order.
For the farm for dcp and exp i think its pointless just play till bakhbattl enemies there are basically twice xp the enemies in Vermund. Also the path where Talos walked
I play on PS5 and the only time I have framerate issues is when a fight happens in a town and all the aoes happen at once, other than that it's been great
The griffin never lands in that Melve spot in the morning or daytime for me. This isn't "farmable" if you are just waiting all day. Just playing the actual game is better. The griffin just flies in the sky between the distant mountain and Vernworth instead. Just go near Bakbattahl if you want to fight a griffin instead.
You shot at it with the small ballista, from the other entrance there is an NPC quest that takes you through a castle. On top of this castle is the huge ballistas and it takes 2 shots to kill the dragon @kaz7886

wakestone shard farming: "you can repeat this as many times as you want" ... barring hundreds of people don't do this for like 20 wakestones every day, as pawns will have that quest the once.
Non of this is better than running straight to the desert map with a port crystal to go back whenever you link and just killing normal mobs. Even wolves there give almost 70 dps...
Anyone else kinda think that the whole Battahl region kinda… ruins the game? I LOVED this game until I got to Battahl at 35 hours in. And now I’m endlessly frustrated. Whole area is horribly balanced. Oh uh thanks for the tips. They did help a lot.
Tbh The only reason it feels unbalanced is because the game is a lot shorter than 1. The end game in this game feels a little lackluster compared to The end game in one due to the monster hunts giving wayyyyyy more exp than regular quests and the side dungeons. Although this game gives you wayyy more base exp than 1. The lack of hunt contracts make it so that you are under leveled for the area you’re in. I’m level 50 and just hit the Post game phase where nothing can kill me easily anymore due to my base stats just being that High.
@@akisrivera I just finished the game at level 70 and 68 hours played. I feel like this one is a lot longer than 1 personally. The story feels about the same length but the map and amount of side content seem to be more than doubled. But to be fair I haven’t done a full playthrough of 1 in like 10 years. Everytime I played it recently was basically just BBI runs or main story speed runs.

Pro tip best way to earn anything in the game is to...........play the game. The reason I say this is because levels don't matter. It's more so just an small stat increase to yourself and your pawn. Everything can be beaten easily as long as you play to your own style. By the time you beat the game you'll end up over level 50 anyways and new game plus doesn't change anything. No health increase for any bosses etc. So eventually you'll just outlevel everything and beat them up with fist as it is. So my advice again is to stop focusing leveling and all this other bs. You'll definitely always have ways to complete the game. Enjoy the game
Don’t level warfarer class, your stats will suck - lvl 1-200 you need to allocate your stats based on you play style e.g high attack stats you level warrior
You didn’t even need to do this to be effective in the first game and people are still spreading this about the second game where it works differently and you DEFINITELY don’t need to do this. Just play the vocations you like, it’ll be fine

About the golem. You can basically one shot them with the Meteora spell you learn from the Spellbound quest. Its pretty consistent.
Get the Medusa bow and go ham on every mob in Battahl. That’s literally the best exp farm. Goblins are giving you 1000+ ex each

Best ive seen is 2 Cyclops and Drake and the Ancient Battleground and usually on the path just before is an Ogre clingling to the cliff side!

beat the game at the lowest level you can, go into NG+ and hit up the dragonforged asap to get the buff that increases the amount of stats you gain per level.
this is good for 2 reasons:
-like any rpg, each level takes longer than the last, so a method that reduces the amount of levels needed to hit the stat cap saves a lot more time than you'd think.
-leveling up too high is bad, because after the stat cap, all leveling does is makes it harder for people to use your pawn, and a lot of people will never spend the rift crystals needed to use your extremely high level pawn. avoid using anything that boost exp gains at all cost imo, otherwise you might level your pawn into irrelevancy.
You can select the storage box before you buy from shops to make it go straight to the storage and not to the player
+Storage and inventory are different
0:55 Warfarer gets 50% of all DCP you gain and the rest gets divided to the other Vocations (rounded up, so extremely small advantage). So if you get 100 DCP, Warfarer gets 50 and all the other Vocations gets 5 each.
This does not scale good, so Let's say you maxed 4 Vocations, the remaining 6 Vocations still only get 5 DCP each. So Warfarer provides no benefit whatsoever in that regard.
With that said, i maxed it and by then all the other vocations were at rank 4, so when i started on them, i had some decent starting skills that made it feel much more interesting, so in that regard, it does provide some benefits.
I wish someone would explain to me the advantage of even having the war farer in the game cause I don't see it, if you use 3 vocations then you get 1 skill for each voc and no masters if you use 2 you get 2 of 1 and 1 from the other if you use 3 the same you might as well just play that voc and get 3 skills plus master skill. As far as dcp goes most of my other classes
are leveled to far for it even to matter by the time go to get warfarer except trickster because I lvl that till I get the detect skill and then I never use the class again imo it's the biggest waste of space in the game

Thief can shred everything, but if a dragon is flying around in the air for example, you can just stand there and wait. But with wayfarer, you can play 95% thief and have a bow ready for such occasions.
You can also swap to a staff to instantly get levitate while you're exploring.
The benefits and options are endless, you just need to get better.

There is a spot of ruins in central Batthal region where at night you could encounter up to 2 golems and almost a guaranteed Wight all in the same area. And it's not so far away from town like that Golem in the Shrine is.
For the fruit/money trading. There's also a girl that you can talk to when you get to the first checkpoint town, DO HER QUEST!! go to the nearest city (it's part of the first actual main quest) and go to the vendor square. There's a brown medium hairstyle man with a black/brown vest and red shirt. The girl should be beside him, talk to him and than the girl for the pawn (shouldnt have to get this but hey when in stupid) can heal you passive skill and a ring. The merchant gives a 20% discount and I believe sells potions rings and food. 20% for just some fruit healing salve.
20% discount for not going out of your way.

better golem farm is the purple glowing golems in volcanic area next to the forge respawn and have easily twice the medals on them then normal golems, plus electrum drops off them too
Use the earth magic on sorcerer for easy kill lol

Fruits in my storage are definitely NOT going bad. I've farmed for several hours and haven't had that happen (I only do it on new characters). I put 99 ripened fruits in the storage, then I put 99 fresh ones (to ripen manually at checkpoint town). It works every time.
Nothing I have put in storage has reacted from time passing only when I take it out or hold it. Now I'm going to be super paranoid and spend a few hours testing this.

The only rotten items I've had show up in my storage is the ones that my pawns dump in there when they leave
I haven't farmed it, but in my game, the spot you indicate as the spot the griffon lands near Melve has always spawned a golem. Every time I pass by this spot there's a golem there. Might be that in my game it's spawning the golem instead of the griffon since I haven't seen one there.
And I don't have anything landing there in mine
Griffon never comes near this spot in my game either but the golem is however it doesn't seem to take any damage with the ballista from that distance

there is a spot going up to the trickster vocation and batall city where it has two golems rather close to speed that up.
The jasper stones sell for 2700 gold at the rest site before the volcanic spring. im not sure how much money the other gems would fetch since i only had jasper, but i think they would be even higher. That's the best spot i could find for most gold for an item.
Jasper gives 2400(?) in Bathal, Onyx 2400 in Vermund and Tigereye 2400 at the Elves. If you sell them at an other location they're worth 800 I think
A lot of the “Top Monthly Pawns” have easy Quests set.
“Recieve 1x Tarring Arrow - Award 12 Onyx”
I always favourite any Pawns with these Quests and just cycle and complete their Quests while still in the Rift lol. Good amount of Gold Quick. W Community lol.
Once you’ve completed a Pawns Quest however, it won’t refresh until their Arisen has slept at an Inn.

btw a trick to get perserved medusa heads is to 1 warfarer vocation 2 a dagger of your choice and a magik bow 3 bring sedative shot ability 4 just put her to sleep with pawns on wait and hit her head once wile grabed to her head once and voila ;)

I’ve been using the dragon at the ancient battle grounds. Get on a ballista, shoot the dragon with your first shot, save and quit and reload. Get on the ballista and shoot it again and it’ll die. Get the drake crystals and use them for either the dragon forged or sell them for 1500 gold a piece. Wait for seven days and go back and the dragon will respawn. Although sometimes I have come across a glitch where after reloading the dragon sometimes disappears.

@@Spidergod it respawned for me, but then after I shot it and reloaded the game the drake disappeared. I will have to see if it comes back. Haven’t played the game in a few days since I started playing FF14 again.
As for getting the fruit to respon in melve, it just takes resting on the bench for one full day. Don't have to go multiple days for the vendor to restock.
In terms of Discipline points, it is just much more fun to just play the game normally instead of trying to find ALL Seeker Tokens, or going into NG+. I would really like to know the kind of player (normal player, not a challenge runner) who does not have maxed or nearly maxed vocations by the end of the game 😅. Also, if you are going for Warfarer, there is an easy way to get XP and DP. Since it's on the way, get Magick Archer, get Warfarer, unlock Ricochet Hunter, go to a cave with a lot of monsters - like the one in Harve village since it's easy to get to, and then just start firing away Ricochet Hunter into the cave, then go a little deeper and fire again. Nothing will live, you get some XP, a lot of DP, and any and all materials from the cave and monsters themselves which you can sell or use. And for anyone who does not want to farm, simply having even one Thief pawn in your party that has both plunder skill and the passive steal skill will consistently get you a lot of loot including precious wakestone shards and ferrystones.
I am leveling up Magick Archer next. Already leveled all the physical classes. I really like the elves so gonna try Magick Archer.
It's a solid ranged class, the meister ability I was literally 1 shotting griffins, but saps half your HP which you can't recover until you go to camp/inn/rest.
@gearzdesign yeah it is kinda bs how terrible some of the maister abilities are in regards to the downsides. I basically only use the Fighter and Thief ones and the Fighter one is not even that good just not much else for Fighter to pick for general damage imo. Thief is like god tier with no downside for being essentially completely invincible for around 30 seconds to almost a minute for me but depends on stamina. Then like Archer's sucks and it is better to just use Deathly Arrow. I did not even bother trying Warrior's.

If you want true exp farm Medusa for her bow, it's effect increases exp for hitting the last hit and it may be a bug but improving the bow grants a stronger effect, currently stacking bow and ring my kill exp makes a 400xp (ring only) turn into a 1.2k exp (last hit with the bow)
im playing spearhand until i unlock the battahl border. as soon as the story gets to that i'm sprinting around to unlock trickster, magick archer, and warfarer and then probly just playing warfarer so i can cherry pick the coolest moves. (yes i know i can get past the border any time, but wanted to do it naturally first lol)
The minotaur spot just take a carriage to the capital and a carriage back to rest town they be respawned it quicker than 8 days.
The easiest way to make money is to hire the pawns that will give you 12 Onyx for 1 tarring arrow. Those sell for 2400 each in the Vermund. Make sure to favorite them so you can repeat daily (real time, not game time). I made about 400k in an hour.
My favorite so far has been Warrior. Such a beast, my buddies don't like it.

Warrior makes the game feel like it's running at 10-15 fps. Compared to all the other vocations, every fight is like I'm standing in one of the slime enemies.
@@palegod Couldnt agree more. It's ridiculously slow, they really overdid it with the animation times. I couldnt realistically hit weak spots 2/3 of the time with how adhd monsters are moving around.
Thief makes warrior feel like a paraplegia victim wielding baguettes...
@@palegod One word "Knockdown". Warrior is a bit slow, but downed monsters are even slower. Also, jump heavy attacks are fast and very strong. Use hammers for best effect and knockdown.
@@melanp4698 As a warrior, it is your job to stun and down monsters. You have insane tankiness and super high knockdown weapons for a reason. Also, with weapon sheathed, Warrior is just as fast as anyone. Just jump onto monsters and grapple them. I played mostly as Warrior, and trust me Warrior is extremely good. But you need to have some patience and understand what your enemy is doing and then act accordingly.

There is another golem near by nameless village which u can access at level 1 and there is a camp fire very nearby to that golem and that is a much better place to farm golems.
I decided to give warfarer a try, as it's a super niche vocation, but it helps if you have a main vocation that's lacking a style of attack, such as ranged or has weak melee attacks. So I made a warfarer warrior with warrior skills with my mystic archer for it's ranged attack, same can be done for Thief, or vice versa (ranger or mystic archer with ninja for melee).
Major downside to warfarer is only 3 skills to use, and of course no meister abilities.
Eh, warfarer is the complete opposite of niche, and those are extremely minor downsides compared to all of its positives.
@@palegod And what would be the positives other than what I listed? Only reason I play a warfarer is when I'm on my warrior tank vocation and I want additional ranged attacks using magic archer for it's basic ranged attacks. Sure you level all vocations using warfarer, so I guess that's a positive. But in practice, the other vocations aren't really set up to have synergy between 2 different classes. Plus you lose out on major skills and overall you lose out on a lot of skills.
@@gearzdesign Augural Flare + Skull Splitter. Flare annihilates bosses, and thief is way more suited to dealing with random trash than sorc. Plus the bonus of having access to levitate at all times so you don't miss out on picking up an annoyingly large percentage of seeker tokens.
Third skill can be Cutting Wind to engage enemies faster, or whatever else you want. Personally I don't think adding in a third is a good idea. It's tempting to pick up something else that's really overpowered, like spearhand bubble, but in practice swapping weapons so much just gets really clunky.
@@palegod Sorcs clear out trash stupidly easy, most trash is dead before I can even reach them on my warrior, sure, a thief can dash in and clear out mobs, but overall sorc is the superior vocation in this game for damage. As for bosses, as I've said, Sorc's in my group literally 1-2 shot the bosses with meteor. The positives you mention aren't really overwhelming in comparison to the downsides to the class.
Like I said, it has it's niche place (adding in ranged attacks for melee characters without ranged abilities, or vice versa), but the negatives really hamper the class overall in comparison to pure classes.
@@gearzdesign you do not need to use rearmament to swap weapons. You can just go into your inventory and equip the weapons. It's not as smooth as swapping with rearmament but you gain your 4th skill slot back.
Some people have mentioned but there are 2 goldens near bakbattahl, I feel its more efficient since its near a city and also en route u can do goblin farms
It's mentioned in the video. They don't respawn consistently (in my game, not at all) so it's no good for farming.
Is there a good quick path to go from that camp to the spawn? going thru the tunnels seems to take forever im tryin to find a quicker path down and hopefully up to make it better

The fugacity augment, have you tested it on the pawn, how will it work, do the pawn's augment work the same as the player's? If you and your pawn both have it, do they stack?

Warfarer Dcp distribution: 50% of Dcp gained goes to the Warfarer vocation. The remaining 50% Dcp is split evenly between all the other vocations you have equipped as well. This can make the leveling process VERY slow if you have several equipped, but you technically can level them all at the same time, with all the core skills, but none of the miaster skills.
They don't need to be equipped, managed to level archer a few times and I don't have a bow equipped
Wrong, 50% is divided by ALL other vocations, regardless if you have them equipped or learned or maxed. So even if you have only unlocked 6/10 Vocations, they will still only get 1/10 of the remaining 50%.
So if you have maxed all Vocations except 1, it will still only get 5% of the DCP you earn if you play as Warfarer.
Possible patch on the Melve xp farm, it seems, for me at least, no matter what time of day i wait for, the Griffon is ALWAYS in the process of flying away over the mountains and never comes back or lands. Don't know if this is a fix (as of now this video is 2 weeks old) or if it's just bad luck for me.
So if your warfarer and you have the medusa bow equiped but never use it does it still give the buff or does it have to be the killing blow

I rushed magic archer at level 20. It's not hard to get just annoying
there's a lot more side content than main story, so, sure.
I personally would never suggest rushing the main game just for efficiency's sake because, this is Dragon' Dogma, and in this series, hyper efficiency does not get you much. If you want the Magic Archer vocation unlocked early, then you can run there and do the escort quest. However it is a very high level area with many enemies to get past. Personally, I would recommend just playing to have fun.
Doesn't leveling as Warfarer causes you to not level up your stats as good as other classes though? For example you would get average stats bias instead of more magick levling up as a mage or more strength leveling up as a warrior? 🤔
Someone did the math and 50% of the exp earned goes to the warfarer and the other 50% is split between the classes you have equip
I play Warfarer with only the Magic-Archer weapon equipped (since I don't use the ultimate skill + cosmetics 👀) and I still get xp for all of my other classes, even tho I never equipped them as Warfarer

My Fighter, Warrior, Thief, Archer and Trickster are all level 4 or 5 and I never even played them. It just takes a lot of time but I'm visiting every corner of the map so I'm fine with it, it's just passive xp for free basically!
And it started doing this while I didn't even have Warfarer level max so yeah, seems to be right of the bat.
Not sure if it repeatable but petrifying the Medusa got me 16k xp. So I’m gunna test it when I’m home. Only issue is that farm would take 2 ferry stones per run

On a first playthrough you are much better off maxing out each vocation individually since you'll actually learn how to play that vocation and you'll likely see familiar scenarios in a different light. Plus Warfarer is useless if you don't know how to use the other vocations since it is basically all of them. You could also just look up everything and not care, but I would only suggest that if you do not have time in real life to play.
i just switched to warfarer from magic archer and did notice that my base magick went down by 40 points... so you're trading off damage for the ability to be versatile just so everyone knows..i do like that i can swap to a staff and levitate when i'm trying to reach those dang seeker tokens!
The prob vendor isn't there anymore and neither is the inkeeper. I also did check that they aren't dead.

I believe that's from the Warfarer vocation skill "Rearmament." It allows you to equip multiple weapons, and then you use the skill to switch to that weapon that you have qued in order.

I play on PS5 and the only time I have framerate issues is when a fight happens in a town and all the aoes happen at once, other than that it's been great

The griffin never lands in that Melve spot in the morning or daytime for me. This isn't "farmable" if you are just waiting all day. Just playing the actual game is better.
The griffin just flies in the sky between the distant mountain and Vernworth instead.

The Gryphon never shows up for me to shoot it. I've waited over and over on the bench.

If you do all the sidequests (i.e. the easily missable Readvent of Calamity stuff) then some NPCs leave Melve.
Spamming Doze of can be dangerous, because if one of your pawns got "the illness", it could activate.
I’m pretty sure that only triggers when you rest at an inn. Doing it at a bench should be fine and won’t trigger it
correct, your pawn 'updates' at an inn/house rest save.
There's also warning signs - red eyes, headaches, refusing orders, etc.
theres a dragon in the forgotten battle field where you can use the ballista to use on.

Yeah.. does not deal enough damage to it, shot at it for 2-3 minutes and it lost less than half a bar.
You shot at it with the small ballista, from the other entrance there is an NPC quest that takes you through a castle. On top of this castle is the huge ballistas and it takes 2 shots to kill the dragon @kaz7886

Anyone else kinda think that the whole Battahl region kinda… ruins the game? I LOVED this game until I got to Battahl at 35 hours in. And now I’m endlessly frustrated. Whole area is horribly balanced. Oh uh thanks for the tips. They did help a lot.
Tbh The only reason it feels unbalanced is because the game is a lot shorter than 1. The end game in this game feels a little lackluster compared to The end game in one due to the monster hunts giving wayyyyyy more exp than regular quests and the side dungeons. Although this game gives you wayyy more base exp than 1. The lack of hunt contracts make it so that you are under leveled for the area you’re in. I’m level 50 and just hit the Post game phase where nothing can kill me easily anymore due to my base stats just being that High.
@@akisrivera I just finished the game at level 70 and 68 hours played. I feel like this one is a lot longer than 1 personally. The story feels about the same length but the map and amount of side content seem to be more than doubled. But to be fair I haven’t done a full playthrough of 1 in like 10 years. Everytime I played it recently was basically just BBI runs or main story speed runs.

Warfarer Vocation allows you to equip and change between up to 3 different skills from any Vocation.
@melanp4698 Just learned its existence yesterday night. Shame that it's a late game vocation and can not be acquired by just heading to its location by exploration. I've been only doing side quests since the game released.

Pro tip best way to earn anything in the game is to...........play the game. The reason I say this is because levels don't matter. It's more so just an small stat increase to yourself and your pawn. Everything can be beaten easily as long as you play to your own style. By the time you beat the game you'll end up over level 50 anyways and new game plus doesn't change anything. No health increase for any bosses etc. So eventually you'll just outlevel everything and beat them up with fist as it is. So my advice again is to stop focusing leveling and all this other bs. You'll definitely always have ways to complete the game. Enjoy the game

Don’t level warfarer class, your stats will suck - lvl 1-200 you need to allocate your stats based on you play style e.g high attack stats you level warrior
You didn’t even need to do this to be effective in the first game and people are still spreading this about the second game where it works differently and you DEFINITELY don’t need to do this. Just play the vocations you like, it’ll be fine

So, yes and no. If you're not taking advantage of it's potential, yeah, it sucks. But, there's little reason to USE it, then, so don't...
Or. Just play the game.
