What is your favorite Warfarer Combo?
And which vocation should I make a video on next?
I'm using a knockdown build that utilizes warrior and sorcerer, I call it the molly wop.
I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite but I’m using magic archer and msh. Msh is just there for the shield. Magic archer takes care of damage healing and cc
Fighter and Warrior. I need some tips and which would be nice for my mainpawn.
I play with the mage for anodyne and movment
trickster for the pawn attack buff
magick archer for ricochet arrow and lifetaking arrow as main attack and heal
But first to unlock all of that skills you have to lvl up as a normal vocation?
Who else uses this Vocation just to wear whatever the hell they want
Lol dont we all?
Guilty as charged
Me 😂 I gave up ultimate skills and stats for fashion
I play Warfarer just to carry around a Mage staff and levitate while playing as a Magick Archer.
Everybody
One of the best things about Warfarer too is that it'll level up your OTHER vocations as well. I was playing it for a bit, using only my greatsword and greatsword skills, but I leveld up thief, magick archer, mage, and sorcerer. It's good to help you raise levels for vocations you wanted to level up but not necessarily play.
I’m fully levelled on every vocation thanks to this feature
Warfarer is the final vocation. Mastery of multiple classes allow you to synergize these classes through the warfarer. Consider roaming with just yourself or maybe a mage support pawn. It is monstrous fun and changes the game completely
Mfs aren’t creative enough bro lol t
It's not mastery, Mastery implies he can use the ultimate skills of every vocation. He can use all weapons but at all skills.😅😅
Contexts matters
This is why i love this vocation. The combinations of abilities are what sell it. Lot of people don't like it because its "weakened" compared to the primary vocations but thats the point. Its not meant to simply stay on a singular vocations style. Otherwise, why play it?
I like sololy because i can be my thief while wearing heavy armor for knockback resistance, also it lvls all the vocations that i wouldn't normally play just to progress them little by little
It's not because it's weakened. A lot of people agree, loss of ultimate skills and lowered stats is a very fair trade off.
The problem is the clunkiness. This class shouldn't require rearmament as a skill. You should be allowed to swap to the desired weapon solely by pressing the weapon skill for the sake of fluidity.
Also, there are a lot of negative anti synergies as well. Like tricksters soul will immediately die if you switch off it.
Most builds I've been seeing so far revolve heavily around either the magic flare or some form of magic.
There are no pure physical combos for example because it seems pointless to run when in reality, if weapon swappin worked just a little differently, it would open up a whole world of combos.
Though it is made for/rewards a specific playstyle: core skill reliance
The unlimited choice of fashion can also be a heavy factor xD
Gotta thing tho the greatsword alone could be useful just from charged normals and heavy attacks.
My warfarer build is a little mix between magick archer & thief. I use S-avalanche (i forget how to spell the skill) + boltchain strike (boltchain you can replace with whatever you like). I only use thief for the smoke when enemies get close to me, in which case I'll use my daggers if need be. Additionally, having the daggers allows for me to dash + carve when I'm on low stamina and GREATLY improves my mobility. Basically, whenever i run out of stamina from sprinting, i just dash + carve until my stamina regens.. its essentially unlimited sprint. It may not be the most min/max ideal setup, but it gives me range & close quarters viability with mobility. The game is easy enough, you don't really need all the extra damage.
i main warfarer too. i did a upgraded trickster with it, dagger/shadowveil to dont be targetted, rally aroma to boost pawns then go to town with a duospear or the daggers. and the medusa bow without skills to murder flying things and rack massive xp.
The Witcher 3 music in the background is the cherry on top
Or you could do what I do: Sword and Board all day, with a magic staff and bow for utility. All three spare abilities are Hyyyattt style!
(Levitating/Healing and Ranged Attacks)
The Link build huh
Mine is just simple sword and board. Switched to Warfarer so I can freaking use levitate to easily get those seeker tokens.
i like using ballbuster when farming drakes. super fast and super strong. love it.
as for out and about, i actually really like greatsword-magick bow duo. skyward sunder, avalanche and frosthunter as the skills. skyward deals tonnes of knockdown and damage, frosthunter is great for shredding wings and stagger compliments skyward, and avalanche is fanstic for pinpoint murder from safe distance. and the sword is great for general mob encounters.
I basically use the same thing! I also bring a mage staff since I don't run one in my party. I only use the staff for healing and leviate
@JubJub958 if your running the same build, I suggest looking into militant dove! You get it in the elven city and it heals you when you stand still.pair it with the augment that makes curative more effective and its pretty decent
Warfarer is so powerful. ive made a battle Mage.
Sorc, Spearhand, Magic Archer.
I have sorcs earthquake spell for good non element damage, stagger power & some aoe.
Spearhands magic shield, i find it best to have melee part focus its defence as stat wise you will probably be lacking a bit.
Magic Archers tracking ice bolts, good damage & can cc.
I've gone for more physical defence armour, but still styled, so fighter best chest, best physical defence pants, best spearhand helm. Obviously best weapons for all, that dragonforged sells.
Playstyle changes per enemy & you have a variety of tools & ways to tackle them so have fun 😁.
Love the ICO music in the beginning. Great video. Such a fun vocation!
i keep a mage staff just so i can use anodyne to heal myself in emergency, forgot i could also levitate
That's so fucking smart
I barley survived a fight between a drake and a griffin last night because my main pawn (mage) decided to cuddle the brine right before I did the fight and yeah, saved by my levitate stick.
I did the same thing. Now I can’t remember where the seeker tokens are I couldn’t get to 🤦
@@amx9122 3:30
and he didnt mention using it for heals which was the main point of my comment. i also even said i forgot i could levitate so idk what your point time tagging was let alone at the wrong time lol
I like using casendant orb, frost arrow or blotchain stake for stick on damage with flare+ sagittate avalanche for a more range heavy build.
My pawns would be fighter (main), mage and sorcerer for more flare hits to cap its 7 or thief for more farm with pilfer and skull splitter.
Really like that fighter, thief and warrior tank build. Might want to try that out ❤
I am working on the mod for this vocation where it adds weapon wheel for easy selection and optionally add time dilation while the wheel is on. I figured this was one of the QoL things that was needed.
if you could also make the dodge the same as formless faint in terms of the vfx not the broken ability I would highly appreciate it
my warfarer combo is spearhand and magik archer, with skills all from spearhand and the bow is just for the range i needed when flyers fly too high
That's how most warfarers start. Welcome to the Frey my friend 🤣
Same, usually open with archer ice shot that deals damage over time and freeze, then with spear you can shield, teleport and grap, then switch to daggers and to to town
Same , I also use the sorcerers augural flare with 2 spear moves. And ranging the flare is fricken nutty damage
The amount of damage indomitable lash does seems pretty poor for the time spent charging, when you could have just done two helm splitters instead.
Augural Flare caps at 7 - 9 explosions also, so hitting it with more attacks than that won't add more explosions. You can get max explosions just by using MA basic attacks too. Avalanche is WAY too slow to be reliable for it, especially on targets that are constantly moving around.
You need to hit the Flare at least once within three seconds or it disappears. It's still a good skill to have as one of your MA skills, but it's not good for Flare unless you just get lucky all of the time.
edit: Alternatively, if you just want to stick with a Sorcerer, you can simply cast Levin directly after Flare to make it "stick", and either mash your button to continue the Levin bolts, or try auto attacking after the first three hits of Levin.
Thanks for this. I didn’t know flare had a cap. I can make something more efficient and well rounded now. 👍
I mainly use it for fashion, but I've been running a mix of mystic spearhand and magic archer. Pretty fun.
Haha love it, I'l prolly do same, maining archer but magic archer has some cool drip i could combo that would make me look more elven. Plus wear trickster or rogue stuff in Bhatal, fancy outfit while chillin in Vermund. I like to rp the gear. Rip master skill, I'm going shopping!
So hear me out. Flare, avalanche, and the shield from spearhand. You get the added benefit of the spears secondary to slow or paralyze. That gives you a perfect window to use flare in the perfect spot and finally you have the bow to proc flares explosions. And u use the shield to block damage while you set it up 🎉
This is the exact setup I use as well! 😊
I run a duospear and magick bow. I run mirour shelde for defense, dragoun's foin for engage/disengage, and I haven't settled on a magic arrow skill quite yet. Not exactly a power combo, but a very versatile setup.
saggittate avalanche is a really good spell i would recommend that or ricochet hunter if you find you are indoors quite a bit when fighting its absolutely broken in caves
I actually use this vacation. So I'm able to equip 2 of the same weapon type. Just different elements or 1 knock back heavy one. Makes nuking dragons easy af.
I've been playing a support wayfarer
1. Censor + buff skill
2. Double spear + shield skill
3. Mage staff for anodyne
4. Magic bow for range + ricochet hunter cus it's fun for cave clears
5. Archistaff for galvanize if needed
Using the pawn buff augments
Magick boost or polarity
Subtlety and Stam regen
And whatever else is left doesn't matter much
I'm still changing parts of the build as I'm playing it to suit my liking
Also magic boost ring and Stam regen ring
But since it's more a support build maybe I'll switch the magic boost effects for added knockback
And add that into my build
I use all weapons,
My only skills are the bright light from the mage vocation (using that in combination with the heal ability to deal with undead.)
The Flare spell from Sorcerer as its totally broken and stronger then most Maisters kills.
And the "power-up" skill from the Trickster to buff my pawns.
Dagger skill skull splitter, and sorcerer skill augural flare, and you’re good to go. Pop the flare, take advantage of dagger speed, and you’re sitting on massive damage on a near constant basis.
sorcerer+thief is op, flare+skull crusher is insane! beyblade let it rip!
Sorcerer and magic archer is pretty good as well.
Warfarer is so much fun. I would even argue you should try it even you are using one single weapon for combat. Equiping a staff to gain access to levitation and heal, a shield to gain access to safe landing make exploration way too convenient, only at a price of one skill slot. Maybe the only exception is that you are building around the maister skill.
I still gotta upgrade my vocations, but when I’m done I’m gonna use duospear, daggers, greatsword, and then magick bow. My skills are gonna be the spearhand dash, skull splitter and maybe ricochet shot, and then use my greatsword to do crazy damage with the wild swings
My combo is Warrior and Spearhand :) - sheld to prevent damage for unstoppab BONK, quik fot core skill for teleport BONK, and skydragon slam to reposition ontop of big enemies for teleport ontop of the head BONK.
he fast, he no take damage, he BONK
That.... might actually be a good idea.
I love MS, but having the ult to be the only thing that does burst damage hurts it really bad.
And as much as thief works, it's just.... too much. The game is easy mode on thief.
@@XaadeTheBlade I completely agree, but i recently watched an MS video and realized after about 10hrs of game play with my build that skydragon slam is kinda meh for this build, and I completely slept on the stamina drain skill for the build. Unfortunately it does lock you into mostly core skills for damage, but i mean when you can just guarantee knockdowns and say no to damage permanently without repercussions, I think its worth it, especially after seeing how the damage plays out between the two weapon types.
I have a Warfarer with only a spear and Magical bow. I use the spear charge, shield, and the same magical arrows for the bow. I use the spear mostly for in close enemies where I just spin it and kill everything. The shield is for mages and dragons that like to cast high level spells. Just pop shield and no sell their strongest attacks. I use the spear charge in case I want to target far away enemies or make silly terrain jumps to reach places. I have all of the knockdown talents plus dwarven upgrades and the ring. Also the ring that ups bow attacks when you're close. Just drop any enemy target his head with the spell arrow ability while standing basically on top of it and unleash and it will delete 3-4 life bars instantly. I walk through every enemy at this point Im hoping theres a difficult mode DLC or something because every enemy is easy mode.
Well that gives everyone a reason to actually play all the vocations, I like it! a gameplay reward for spicing up your playstyle
I just made Strider from Dragon's Dogma 1 using dagger and bow only, coz it was my main vocation. Still miss double jump, but in DD2 there is more critical hits with staggers so it is fine.
3 Warfarer build i use:
In every build Staff is to fly around so please use the staff that can silence ennemies when you hit them as the Magic Power of the staff isn't important.
1 - "I just want to chill with an enhanced Thief" Build
Weapons: Dagger + Bow / Magical Bow + Staff (to fly around + silence)
- Skull Splitter
- Masterful Kill
- Cutting Wind
2 - "I really need to fuck everything up" Build (mostly with mod that tune the difficulty up by a lot)
Weapons: Dagger + Magical Bow + Staff (to fly around + silence)
- Skull Splitter
- Sagittate Avalanche
- Here depends on the mood:
Masterful Kill if boss can be reach easily and dodge (easy jump on his back)
Frosthunter Bolt (if i need to stay at range and want to apply frost effect)
Remedy Arrow mainly to instant revive pawns
3 - "I just want to jump on you" Build
(fun version) - Just to have some fun
Weapons: Dagger + Mystic Spearhand (+ optional a Warrior Weapon if you want to use Surging Strike) + Bow / Magical Bow (for flying birds mainly) + Staff (Staff is mainly to fly around + silence)
Here it's an optional setup to change a bit using Mystic Spearhand for the dash mainly
- Skull Splitter
- Gut & Run (to escape when stamina starts to get low as it deals dmg then you jump away)
- Last spell it just preference:
Safest is Masterful Kill (if you like Dark Souls style) OR Mystic Spearhand Shield
More fun: Surging Strike (need a Warrior Weapon) / Dragoun's Foin (Mystic Spearhand)
(alternate version) - Iteration for tryhard setup (with mods boosting game difficulty)
Weapons: Dagger + Mystic Spearhand + Magical Bow (for flying birds & revive) + Staff (Staff is mainly to fly around + silence)
- Skull Splitter
- Gut & Run (to escape when stamina starts to get low)
- Remedy Arrow (Magical Bow) mainly to instant revive pawns (this could be replace with Mystic Spearhand Shield but it's less smooth)
Got a bit bored of the way Warfarer is design with only 3 skills in total.
There's a mod that let you set up 3 spells for each weapons which makes it more fun, as you can switch between more playstyle. (still i suggest to not use ultimates (maisters skills) cause the mod allows it.
Fun fact even if we might think this would mean more combo, at the end of the day Stamina is a problem so you end up using 2 to 4 spells but at least you can swap to a wand and do some magic gameplay for 3 or 4 packs of ennemies and then go back to standard.
In addition the Sorcerer Spell that detonates (dont remember the name) doesn't last long enough to be that effective. In normal game it's okay (but honnestly with good weapons it's not needed at all) and with mods that increase the difficulty it's not worth a spell slot. Better cast 2x Sagittale Avalanche than having to switch to the wand cast the spell then quickly switch to the magical bow and cast the spell + Instant revive as more value for your pawns when difficulty is really high.
I use the Trickster ability to buff allies instead of dagger’s skill. That way I can avoid close combat 100% of the time.
For PC players I recommend the True Warfarer Mod which let's you equip 3 skills for every weapon you have linked to Rearmament. So if you wanna do a DD1 Magick Archer build you can have 3 dagger skills for Thief and 3 Magick Bow skills for Magick Archer
It’s a cool vacation that highlights how awful it feels only having 4 skills.
Feels clunky if you don’t use the weapon swap skill. So you’re left with just 3 skill slots left.
That's right. Plus all them core skills
Lethality and zeal are both 5% decrease so I'd consider replacing honestly
I overlooked this vocation until the last vocation... man do I regret it!
I was able to recreate the old MA from DD:DA!
Something to note is that you upgrade all of your vocations while using Warfarer, so for all those Arisens that are yet to master all vocations just equip a whatever weapon that vocation uses and watch the upgrading happen.
My warfarer build.
Weapons: 2h warrior, Theif Daggers
Weapons skills:
Skull splitter (Theif spin to win)
Implicate (Theif "come over here)
Heaven ward Sunder (Warrior knockdown)
Rearmament (warfarer mastery skill)
Passives:
Thew (carry weight, Warrior)
Exaltation (Sramina recovery, Mage)
Subtlety (Less aggro, Thief)
Vigor (Drains Stam slower when u clinging to a monster, Theif)
Dominance (More knockdown power, Warrior)
Detection (Eser to find seekers coins, Trickster) Pick what u want.
This is a super strong build I'm feeling dragons in less den 30-60 sec. And it really easy and super easy
Not really too OP or anything, but i like to run Thief + Archer for a Strider build akin to DD1. Use skull splitter and the parry for thief, and incindiary arrow for the archer. and i'll carry a staff for out of combat anodyne to save curatives, and levitate for vertical platforming.
I'm still searching for drip that's even remotely appropriate but I plan on making an Iron Man style build using Spearhand for the shield, dash and quick fire ranged stun from the palm. Might rarely use it for actual melee engagement though.
Mystic Archer for the avalanche.
Sorcerer staff for the levitate and stamina charge.
Spear hand with fate, shield and holy mace with flawless shield, and flame mace with indomitable. I also use the holy staff because its usually just me and my fighter pawn.
But thats my holy dive build. Yes i do play dio while roaming 😂
Hey, great guide! To maximize the knockdown, would you go with the dwarf upgrade for daggers?
Yeah Absolutely! I haven't made a video on how I'd recommend most upgrades to go yet but generally I like to go all out elven for magic builds or all out dwarven for the KO
I do believe having 3 skills per weapon type would feel much better but I can’t blame them too much for keeping it simple if overly so
as long as the vocation is maxed out, you can buy the skills from the warfarer skill selection window.
I don't get to use Augural Flare much because by the time I switch to a rapid attacking weapon, the Flare has dissipated (not exploded). I have magic archer (1), sorcerer (2), warrior (3), and thief (4), with sagittate (or ricochet for dungeons), flare, and mountain breaker. Maybe I should switch the thief/warrior placement? I think if you rotate through your weapons too much, the flare goes away. What do you think?
I did flamefang arrow, powder blast, high salamander. 🔥 build
I think transmog should be added to the game so no matter what vocation you are you can be fashionable but also not hindering your maximum potential
The moment I heard that this Vocation exists, I was super excited. Because I play Sorcerer and I was kind of annoyed that I'm limited to only 4 weapon skills. So I thought you sacrificed one slot to get 3 new ones on any other weapon you have equipped. But once I hear that you don't get new weapon skill slots on other weapons and, if that wasn't bad enough, you can't use Maister skills AND your stats are reduced compared to the original vocation.
Those 3 drawbacks are a dealbreaker to me and I'm gonna have to either ignore the vocation or mod it to the way it is supposed to be. With the only drawbacks of the vocation being the reduced stats and not stats + fewer skills + no Maister skills.
I love the background music from ICO
Augural Warflarer build is awesome
I think imma just rock a heavy warrior with a bow and staff without without rearmament and just menu change to what I need at the time my issue with this game is they need to add more interaction with certain weapons or maybe add more effects like stun for hammers slash for swords to help take out monsters by cunning off limbs or breaking legs add more dynamic to classes with better skills because let’s be real tidal slash is a waste of a skill imo when the warriors main feat is hyper armour
What’s the best sized character for this vocation? Medium build I’m assuming. Some lmk pls I started with small build for thief but want to use this eventually and use warrior soon
I so wish Capcom would've made the weapon skill automatically equip that weapon. You'd free up that precious skill slot hogged by rearmament and also make it much easier to get to the weapon you want
Bro warfarer is only there for fashion for me. Best and easiest damage is just theive with both maister abilities. Formless faint dodges the self damage of the other maister ability (forgot the name), which allows some crazy damage.
Lol augural flare into skull splitter is also my combo. If i want to stay ranged, spiral arrow works too same with mystic archers first skill
or use mod so you get full skillset for each warfarer weapon
or another mod that adds second skillset for each warfarer weapon
aka 7 skills per weapon :)
Cannot wait to unlock this vocation
Did you unlock it?
@@KM-lc6hj Got it
I wonder how that sorcerer magick archer setup would work for the end game area gonna have to try that out and see sounds like it could be fun
Pop those dragon bubbles
you can cast agro with greatsword so i dont find the point on having shield + sword
you can dragon forge rearmament and the stamina cost is not really noticeable at that point
It's barely noticeable already lol
At high levels this vocation is the best . Magic archer / avalanche/ archer / Medusa bow / warrior .
my only gripe with warfarer is that rearmament takes a skill slot all of my ideas just that need that one extra slot to make it perfect
🤔 interesting I’m play so far 3 class basic archer then 😅 warrior and mystic spear hand kinda magic archer broken strong like the dragon dogma the first I try avoid 😜
Thank you for info and have good days 🍻👍
Thank you for being wholesome!
Currently working on maxing out all my vocations then going into this one. Just have archer & warrior left currently
Stop. Stop now. You will hate yourself. Warfarer levels *all* classes simultaneously. Its 20-30% of vocation xp. To every other class. So maxing everything first, is going to really really sting when you realize.
Also, you can slot all 4 skills. You don't have to use weapon change/rearmament. You can swap weapons in the menu. I'm just a DD1 strider now, using the bow situationally, and the staff for levitation. I'm level 6 in warfarer, and lvl 4 in literally everything else, except thief, which is the only one I played prior.
@@Volyren it's too late as I've done majority of all the vocations already. Haha
Hey, thabms for the info. Could you explain a little further for me please. Does the class level every other vocation only if you use their skill, or just in general while playing wayfarer? Also with the skills, is it one skill from each class, or 3 skills from each class and 1 being armament?
@@123456789day its a flat rate. 20 or 30 percent, thereabouts. So, getting warfarer to 10 will only get you to lvl 5 or 6 in a 0 class. But, the xp never stops. So you can keep playing warfarer even maxxed, and the other classes still get xp. Its all at once. I only used daggers. But my lvl 2 notifications popped for every class, back to back. And the skills set like any other class. You're limited to 4. And warfarers only skill is the hotswap. Also, if you use it, only the heaviest weapon you equip counts for weight. All other weapon equips weigh 0.
You can't set 4 skills for every vocation. Just 4 period. I have helmsplitter from thief, the dire arrow from archer, and also the multishot archer one. I only use the staff for heals and levitation as needed.
But I rarely need to swap. Honestly, just helmsplitter usually melts bosses.
The only true threats in this game are hungry wolf orgies and gravity.
@@123456789day every vocation is leveled at the same time, no need to have their weapons equipped its just a bit slower then using a single vocation. The skills are 1 rearmament (for switching) and the other 3 are any ability of any other vocation (you need to have that skill unlocked tho)
Yo where do you get the dragons bite sword is it good?? Lmk please
You can unlock skills as the wayfarer for the other classes
This is cool but having 3 or 4 wep doesn’t feel great to me. I’d rather do 2 for more skills. But that’s just me
Same and I'm still deciding what weapon to bring 😂
Wait so if you don't put on rearmament you can still equip 2 weapons?
@@nickclark396 Nope, you would then add the weighted value for all your weapons in your inventory and can only use the skills of the one equipped.
Max is 3 really, 2 with 2 skills and the bow or magick bow for range
Capcom messed up by making the "switch weapon" a FUCKING skill. Who thought that was a good idea? It's like they don't want us to have fun.
Confirmed more recently that the Provocation augment does just as good a job as Shield Drum, and given the lack of skill slots on Warfarer this should probably be swapped out.
you don't even need to use rearmament you can just go into your inventory and switch weapons that way but still have 4 skills to use
I got the wayfarer and selected uber skills but somehow could only use 1 of them in combat for the final boss dragon.
Why can’t I equip multiple weapons I tried equipping sword and shield and the spear but it only equip one not all of them I’m
Confused
“A jack of all trades is a master of none” one of my hired pawns..
I have the warfarer but i dont get the rearmament skills what do i do ? please
the Ball what-
I only use greatsword and magic bow and its one of the most fun i had in the game including DDA
What are the skills you use?
razing sweep heavenward sunder and sagitate avalanche i just use greatsword but use magic bow on flying enemies or far away @@ExSoldier101
Im using magick archer x sorcerer lol. Spamming that mag arch skills. Then use galvanize. Can solo anything.
I tried the second build but the flare disappears before I can get a single hit off with the bow or daggers
so you use a warrior and use all weapons?
Okay. How about fun build not necessarily strong, not that efficient but fun and flashy. I don't wanna be overpowered. I wanna know how fun build looks like!
The main issue I have with warfarer is the lack of maister skills. I like playing thief most of the time.
honestly warfarer isnt op at all, the fact you only get 3 skills and no master skills makes it awful compared to just doing something like playing a straight up thief where you can just become permanently invincible and deal out absolutely absurd damage at the same time, the class should really let you have a seperate skill wheel for every weapon type
i use magic bow + sorcerer and melt everything it's crazy.
For the first time since TH-cam, I actually needed the basic information in the video I would usually accuse a creator or babybirding; (in my head I’m not that much of a bitch lol) which has clearly reminded me that information is useful to someone, and I was being arrogant and selfish not considering Thése circumstances exist. ❤️ thanks for the video, and thanks for the basic information
Warfarer should’ve been like in the first game where you have 6 skills split over 2 weapons
Let us pick 2 weapons to equip (as long as the vocation is maxed) and give us 3 skill slots for each…the Warfarer is called the Arisen vocation in Japanese
Anyway, I run Magick Archer & Mystic Spearhand: Frostseeker Bolt + Irradiant Orb (great utility in the dark) + Mirour Vesture…it’s kinda like being a magic Strider
Talking about the assassin class in DD:DA right? I also miss that, loved doing the Longsword/bow mix, and suprised they removed the solo Aug that the assassin had that boosted all stats and defens when solo too
But will probably be added at some point in DLC or something. Would love BBI style dungeon dlc.
@@rskid777 Strider, Ranger and Assassin all 3 could use 2 weapon types, not to mention they also had the double vault core skill, WHICH IS MISS SO DAMN MUCH!
@@Hyrden89hea dragons dogma 1 was more of a “game” and dd2 is a more of a cinematic feel to it
@@xoshnax5962 Im defo feeling the Dragon's Dogma DNA in DD2, but there are just some things missing, like im really missing having the ability to quickly pull out a bow and shoot those pesky harpies.
Having 2 sets of weapon skills was so damn nice, and the double jump on the dagger vocation
Honestly I rather prefer using a mace & shield incase i run into a enemy where they can cause you recoil when you do slash damage and resistant to magic.
The way I used it was unlocking it early and playing with Lightning Daggers for stun and Fire Spear to burn them while their stunned, lots of fun.
But I admit, I have downloaded a mod that allows me to have 3 skills for each weapon, I just think Itsuno held back way too much by limiting the players to 3 total skills
Already you have lower statistics, you don't get master abilities and it's pretty late game.
Just let us go crazy 😂
The game let's you be so powerful yet nothing dangerous enough to warrant going all out
Stupid question, But, i cant figure out how to change my skills for each weapon. when i change them in the Acquire/Equip skills it makes it the same for all weapons, For instance my Thief skills show up even when i change to the Bow.
You can only use three skills, no skill loadouts unfortunately
anyone else having an issue of the flare disappearing by the time you switch to magic bow and charge up the attack?
It's kool but I prefer just have a little weight and just pause and switch to each weapon cause I all four skill slot
Why they said it s weaker ? Because when you lvl up you don’t have Enough stats like if you were sorcerer ( enough magic or warrior enough strength) ?
When I click on a weapon it doesn't say change order...
I just like wayfarer simply for the armor style freedom. 🥴 Archer just too much fun for me to drop.
So, there is only one way I can say would improve the Warfarer Vocation. Instead of having 4 skill slots for all 9 weapons in total, why not give the vocation 2 skill slots per weapon and the other two skill slots be Rearmament Left and Rearmament Right? That'd be awesome. Other than that, this is my favorite vocation.
I just made a Strider, since we all know it got split into thief and ranger
Honestly thief and archer especially having both maister skills
We gonna ignore the fact you eliminate 3 bars front the dragons life in 1 sec ? @03:04
augral flare from the sorceror is nuts you one shot everything. i use wayfarer with sorc and magic archer. pop augral on the boss then switch to magic archer to hit the augral flare to get max stacks and bye bye boss
prescient or augural flare on sorcerer pawn and skull splitter on thief, or use warfarer and put ur own flare on with sorcerer and switch to thief to use skull splitter. it deletes everything
For taking down enemies I just use augral flare and switch to daggers and skull crusher. Nothing survives.
One of the best things being a warfarer is to always switch to archer so I can use Medusa's bow for the final hit to get exp bonus.
