You can just set up a pawns quest to obtain 1 single arrow and spam it. You get 10k per arrow. If you have a friend you can both do it. Sometimes it bugs out and it won’t give you the option to “give item” just reset the quest and you’ll be able to do it over and over again.
is it just me, or does anyone else hate these methods that require you to sleep for a week?
Its the way the game works. Sorry you cant just run down a straight like killing enemies and minmax to lvl 999 quickly
@@WoodzyM9 by no means am I asking to do that. I am about 65 hours in, and loving it. Just hoping to find a method that doesn't require all the sleep. I enjoy the gameplay too much to spam doze off on a bench for an hour is all.

Enemies spawn after a few in game days so it speeds up the process 🤷 that's how they designed it so not much to do about that

I ferrystoned to vernworth and had a drake spawn, hauled ass to my house and started a new day lol
Mine is dragonsplague and everyone ded
Eventually it turns into a drake, and happens almost constantly
I’ve had dragons, cyclops, ogres, Minotaurs, saurians, goblins and a griffin.
Pro tip: when constantly swapping pawns just take a close look at there eyes,if you see a red pulse/glow they have the plague so don’t not take those pawns
Just don’t inn sleep with them and after you get the gold then yeetus deletus
You make their eyes red to begin with. So that's gonna make it difficult to tell who's infected
@@dustinhope1913 yes I agree I just don’t hire any pawns with red eyes to be safe but also the infected ones actually pulse red they arnt just said state red, if u look really close for awhile u will see the pulse but u really have to look close so yes just don’t hire and red eyed pawns lol
Not true, pawns in the rift always start with their normal eyes- they only start glowing red after few days if they’re infected.
Also, dragon plague can only infect 1 pawn per party. Best way to tell is if they reject your orders and if your pawn is infected, easiest way to get rid of it is letting it transfer to another pawn (the red eyes will disappear when it gets passed on) cause killing your pawn lowers their affinity.
Nowadays when I hire a pawn, if I get the dragon's plague tutorial, I will immediate load the game, and the game will treat me like I never got it, so the tutorial will be reset. The next time I got the same message... repeat.
Like a lot of people I’ve become a travelling fruit salesmen porting between Melve and Bakbattahl. I’m pulling in about 145k in a little under an hour or so. Also for anyone who wants to do the crystal method I’d suggest raising your affinity with Issac to save yourself 1k gold with every Ferrystones purchase. If you buy the house there it makes it even easier to do quickly.
issac can be gone forever due to a quest outcome. maybe dont do that

Can you do the fruit selling method if your main pawn is a Logistician ? I’ve seen some things saying it won’t work seeing as how they will take the ripe fruit and turn it into dried fruit.
@@jimdob6528 I think he may have been referring to the “buy the house” portion of my comment since it costs a bit of change. Although if you’re farming gold it’s inconsequential lol.

Ogre's as the quest is easier as there is 3 ogre spawns near the elf village. Kill one go back to the elf crystal and grab more. The cyclops are routes that are a bit longer to get to.
Hmm, the pawn quest seems the most beneficial right now since it will get you a ton of pawn likes and boost it early game. Think I'll get on that now because I'd like mine to be used for decades to come since she's already optimized as a mage.
You think till you run into a lot of pawns not offering 10k gold. Trust for doing it a couples hours but I love digging into so many pawns seeing what everyone's pawns look like
I set that quest for my pawn, so far 5 people have hired my pawn for the reward and none of them gave an item or a thumbs up.
So caveat here is that advanced players no longer find cyclops at the bridge; only ogres in the village. I’ve been farming for about an hour now and at 50+ at least-only ogres. That’s fine and I’ve been getting quite a few 10k quests already.
The downside is most people have cyclops listed and I can’t contribute actually since I’ve already gotten my pawns cyclops badge. So there is a limit to how useful this is.
@@JodouTR what does it mean to be an advanced because I see people my level still doing the cyclops thing but I can only get ogres
@@The_Taco_Thief it means either advanced the story to another act or leveled high enough that monsters are upgraded in order areas. It’s to enhance the experience so that early areas stay dangerous.
I just farm wyrmsblood crystals,
Set port crystals at two drake spawns and one in bakbattahl wait at a bench or sleep till they respawn kill them you will have spent 3 ferrystones to kill them and get bqck to bahttal then buy ferrystones from the dragon forged and repeat, one drake shput give yui enough crystals for 3 ferrystones rinse and repeat then sell off wyrm crystals 100 crystals gove you 150k
Also be a magic archer with martyr bolt you'll insta the drake
Edit: you could also accept kill drake pawn quests for extra cash

Doing this with a Group of 3 thief all stealing while autoattacking and when the drake is downed = even more profit 🤑
For an easy Preserved Medusa Head you can use warfarer with magic archer, sorcerer, and thief. Shoot her in the face with a sleep arrow, cast augural flare on her head and just stand there blasting it with your staff a whole bunch. The flare will do the damage and then when she falls down flat just pull out whatever blade (did it with mystic spear hand) and cut off her head. You may have to repeat a flare her a few times but it's pretty simple and you get the head pretty easy.
Edit: Also, if you want to petrify her you can use the daughters of the evening shield. It's a mirror shield you can get. You just block her glare and she's stoned.
The best money making method is still buying apples and grapes for 20k in malve and selling them all in battahl for 140k

I love the pawn quests, gives me nice side quests as I go out adventuring.
9:34 You can cancel the gathering animation to pick up the stones instantly and speed this process up tenfold by collecting them with your weapon drawn btw.
FYI for the gold farm in that cave, Turn off the latern and the rare crystals glow really bright
Only problem with the Pawn quest method is eventually you won't be able to set your Pawn quest to the simple Cyclops or Ogre quests once your Pawn has the badge already. So you'll have to set it to the more rarer and dangerous enemies sooner or later.
all the more reason to do it sooner rather than later, get those likes on your pawn while you can

Hey man. Great video. Reached level 40 and says encumberance stat was at - no increase of the usual 3.0 every 5 levels. Does it ever go up again after level 40 or is that it capped out now?
Instead of setting the pawn quest to killing the cyclops, you can set it to just give the pawn an item, like a fruit reborant. So those who hire your pawn: Hire pawn, leave rift, hail pawn, choose give and give them the item. Quest completed 15 seconds after leaving riftstone. And this way you get something cheap that is still nice to have in return for 10k
Get pawns who has jewels and stay tping to high value areas, get rich easy.

Griffins prey on Oxen near cliffs in Vernworth. They also love to swoop down when Goblins and Saurian bodies start piling up in Battahl. Use frost and fighters with high KD to your advantage.
Save your wyrmslife crystals for later. The bayside shrine has all of the best post game gear after you kill grigori, weapons are 115 WLC, bottom armor is 30 WLC, head armor is 20 WLC, top armor is 40 WLC and wyrmfire upgrade (tier 4 enhancement for armor and weapons) once you have the previous 3 tiers for the item is 15 WLC.
apparently there are unique armor in post game from bosses.

Fill out the rest of your party with pawns offering quests to help complete the pawn badges that you still need. Look at the pawns statuses. If they have progression towards a badge it means they have more xp fighting that enemy. Even if you start anew, cyclops badge is the easiest to get. You can make this go even faster by escorting Oxcarts and aiding other patroling pawns and merchants in the wild.
My game doesn’t spawn a cyclops outside of city, always one ogre near the cliffs
I know people think selling fruit is the best way to get rich but I’ve been using this method the past week and I’ve been loving it. It’s just a really fun and rewarding way to play the game.
I hope people start setting up more Drake hunts for the pawn quests. Thats what i really wanna farm
How long do drakes respawn? I'm on the hunt for them but have no idea.

Wow, a farming method that doesn't involve Fruit or having a second account to abuse the reward system, finally!
Although i am positive the fruit value is gonna plummet soon since DD1 had a similar way, except it was around Carrots, and you could buy an unlimited amount instead of just 5 a day, which would triple the amount you spent on them, and you could do this before leaving the starting village, this was patched out in the forced Dark Arisen port, but anyone still owning the original Xbox 360 version could still abuse this.

For sure, you can get lots of exp just killing mobs and you would be more efficient at getting vocation exp since boss killing doesn't really give that much, only a few basic enemies worth. It also gives more than double the exp, you get like 4x as much or around that (doesn't affect vocation exp).
Only issue is your pawn won't get the same exp multiplier boost, so you will out-level your pawn when levelling this way.
I found using the explosive arrow skill works well for this too, doesn't completely drain your stamina and it can clear out groups if used well. There's probably some places that would be meta for clearing out a lot of enemies but I'm just using it as a nice exp boost while I max out Archer and may use it again later for Warfarer.

@@Silkylobster jesus christ, the lesser dragons in the post game area give like 11k so with this bow that would be 40k+ that's like 1/2 a lvl for someone at lvl 60ish
@@chrispalmer6804 Use both exp rings + the exp boost from Dragonforged and it'll be more like 60-80k for those dragons.
just so I understand it 100%... it will cost me 10000gold every time someone uses my pawn if I set my pawn to the cyclops/10k gold reward ? or will each pawn only be able to do it once - so the person who hires the pawn first will be the only one to get the reward?
you only have to pay the initial amount, and after it’s completed by one person the next time you rest it’ll prompt you to set a new one, but if you wait longer between inn rests (5-6hrs/Overnight) it can be continuously completed by more ppl for no extra charge and progress your badges multiple times.

Good content, but don’t use sleep to pass the time, i did this and my pawn killed every npc in town lol, notice that the pawn who carries dragon plague won’t have their eye become red immediately, so even you checked your pawn’s eye not being red before sleep, he can still become a killing machine while you are sleeping 😅
Or, check your pawns’ eyes and idle animations for a day or two of in game time before deciding to farm
The Cyclops showed up the first few times I’d rest for 7 days but now it’s no longer spawning.. any ideas on another spot or why this one’s gone?
I started doing that pawn gold farm when I noticed it last week then I got the dragon plague warning and haven’t done it since then.
Go into a dimly lit area and check your pawn’s eyes. One of them might have been touched by DragonAIDS.
@@FernPowered been doing that like a ingame weekly physical check up lol. Cuz my pawns are all straight forward so can’t tell if it’s dragons plague so been checking their eyes. Rating wise there should be a down vote to know that the pawn has dragons plague.

I did the cyclops thing twice, no issues, tried again, slept for 7 full days. Hired 2 new pawns, cyclops not on either side of west vernworth…. Went n slept for 7 more days, still no spawns.
So went to do a couple of glymmercoal runs, no problems there, slept 5 days between each one…
Went back n got 2 new pawns for cyclops. Went out the west side of vernworth and still no spawn of the cyclops !!

The best way to farm XP is using the medusa's bow, the xp u gain for every kill is multiplied for 4. Just use warfarer with archer + class that u like and last hit w/ the bow
You can not equip the rearm skill and just equip the bow in the menu, too. I can play warrior and rank up everything else that way
The easiest Medusa kill is to get warfarer and use sporific arrow/sleep arrow. Then grab her head and it instantly comes off. It’s super fast!
Why not have people set their quests to kill mino for 10k to make the diggers cave method even better? Not sure why the cyclops would be the go to when there's always a mino in the cave as you said.

Here's a though, if the community as a whole puts request for 1 arrow (any type) for a stack of preciuos stones. If everyone does that, we can legaly make millions.
Using the illegal method, it's around 1,5 million per hour.

Watch out for pawns with red eyes if you're going to do the hiring method.
with the dragon plague at higher lvl i would not recommand farming the pawn mission... imo ^^ or stay aware of symptoms ^^

honestly at lvl 52 you should be making 100k an hour just by walking around exploring. I think you're spending more time trying to cheese the game than to enjoy it.
There’s a way better pawn quest for gold where you can get twice the amount for 1/6 of the time.
Jaspe, tiger eye or onyx are better rewards.. 9 of them at the good selling point means around 25k gold
I think they patched the cyclops that would respawn. I have seen an ogre a couple times tho

After seeing this method i swapped out my pawns for the 10k cyclops quest ones went to the location and it was there killed it everything was great got 20k went back swapped out pawns again for same quests rest for 7 days went back and it wasnt there so i went back to the house rested for a few more days and still nothing i then rested for 7 days again! Just incase went back and still not there. Anyone else having this problem im resting until morning 7 or 8 times just so you know im doing it right and yes im looking in the right area
Edit: Definitely doesn't work I've tried this numerous times now many different ways and the cyclops Will not spawn I've slept at a campsite I've dozed off a hundred times I've rest until night then morning like 14 times. I've tried different combination of days I've gone at night. It doesn't work don't waste your time
That cyclops’s default spawn is actually the forest on the left of the same road, but sometimes appears at the houses. Just like in the video. After about 2 runs it goes back to the forest.

Umm just put medusa to sleep using archer vocation lol yup one or two shots and then you can use a pawn thief or fighter class to cut the head with one hit or hey use Warfare class whatever.
Since the medusa is in a cave, just using magik archer and shoot 3-4 times the ricochet lightning arrows she's dead. super fast and easy and you never need to take any risk of damage.
But you dont get her head, which is the only point killing her xD

Heads up, YOU are paying that 10k 🪙 from your own gold to other players so that your pawn gets a badge depending on the target you want the badge for, just keep that in mind when setting it up.
I'm not sure what the badges do, but I know that pawns with high badge count are proficient in killing that specific target and taking advantage of it's weaknesses.
Thats what im saying. Watching this like dude, you are throwing away 10k every time you set that quest

You only pay the 10k once to activate the quest. You don't pay 10k Everytime another player completes the quest.
Its just an entry fee basically. Whatever gold or item you use to set up a quest it will only take it once.
Yes the badges just make your pawn more efficient at killing that type of monster. They also have field quests like camping or traveling that will make your pawn more knowledgeable in the field and give you more information about the area you are in.
The 10k is just paid once and it's to entice other players to play with your pawn. So it's a win-win. They get 10k gold. You get rift crystals, and a more knowledgeable and efficient killing machine pawn.
Too bad the max amount of gold you can put is 10k. Cause I would offer more, to get more results.
@@virginiareaper1178 thats only partially true, because as soon as you rest and you trigger the "Your pawn has returned from the rift" you need to reset the pawn quest because it zero's out, I know because I've been having to reapply that 10k because of that, the less you rest the longer you get to keep that initial 10k active until everyone who can summon and use your pawn has done so, then you gotta rinse and repeat.
well theres an easier method but require a friend, set the quest to ur friend has to give a easy to find item and reward with 10K and ur friend does the same now u give the item to the pawn of ur friend and take the money and then u dismiss it then on city u recruit it again and repeat, u lose 10 k only once and th trick to do it as many times u want is either u or ur friend must not sleep
Question - only once was I able to kill the gryphon because the other times he flew away and when I had finally gotten him down to no lifers beside the last one, he flew away and come back fully healed with all bars which is crappy. Is that how he works mostly? I don't have medusa yet, just started yesterday and putting all that work in only for him to come back fully healed sucks butt man. :(

I thought I was the one paying 10k to other players if they took my pawn to kill cyclops so I was staying away from that. Now that I know am not the one paying, I will use this.

you do pay, but only once. Set up the reward and if 5, 10 or 50 other players complete it, you only pay once the 10k. Which you make back tenfold.

Thing is I don't think most people even knew. I've seen too many cyclopse 10k pawns with super low ratings
You can also farm wlc and sell them for 1500 a piece once you get towards the endgame you’ll get 500-800 and the weapons only cost 110 so you’ll have plenty
Idk how you ended up with 800 wlc towards end game. Im on my 3rd ng+ cycle 3 times finished unmoored world and still havnt got that many. And thats with the free 100 from 3 grigori fights. Unless you finished unmoored on 1 save and farmed it for hours theres no way to have 800 by endgame. Most of the ppl using these vids havnt even experienced the unmoored world yet and are in for a rude awakening when they do
@@GigaChadDuPlessis I just completed my 1st play through and closed all the red rifts before hand and got about 120 per rift that I closed and that wasn’t including the countless mini bosses across the land I slayed …I’m a level 50 max level thief and mystic spearhand with almost all end game items from vendors and the dragons forge

So i don't get it why does the pawn quest thing work? Don't people lose money when they post the quest? Isn't that just moving the money around the community. Or does the quest provide more than one payout to different people without exhausting your money. I don't understand.
Yes, you spent 10k, but multiple people can use your pawn and get 10k each, with you only paying once. This artificially creates more 10k rewards without you loosing more. Still not want i understand under a fun play. You get enough by playing normal.
I'm struggling to find people setting pawn quests as they either don't set them or they give stupidly crap rewards

I agree. Farming in a singleplayer game is a big no for me. For my playstyle, since Ferrystone costs 10k each, so I'll buy one and then start my journey. Most if not all of the time, I'll make more than 10k and teleport back to town. Some quests or goals will be done in the journey.
Yea collected so much material back in storage so everytime I pick up Goblin horn I now sell them cus can only have 99 in storage so I go around killing goblins and other enemies and if they have mats that's full for me in storage I just sell what I collect on a expedition.
Clicks on gold making video and gets mad because it's "not playing the game."
Killing bosses is extremely slow to rank up classes. You killed that drake and got 200dcp. You can get 200dcp from 3 or 4 wolves or about 8 golblins. I bet I can find 8 goblins faster than you can respawn and travel to the drake.
So I would be paying 10k gold to anyone that killed an ogre with my pawn? What do I get in return besides RC?
You "place" 10k once and that's it. Then any player gets 10k for completing it, but you only pay once.

You can get 100,000 from the sphinx just by showing up at the second location! (Early)

Why not drop a port stone at the cyclops location and your house to increase travel time?
A ferrystone there and back would be 20k gold.
Okay I’m so confused. Why do ppl not grind drakes? Do you realize a drake can drop 20 blood drop things that literally sell for 1,500 gold. That’s 30k per Drake. I know it’s a little buggy on their spawn but like just know a couple locations and sleep in a bed (if you own a home) to save before just in case you kill then and you don’t get a good drop. Just go back to save and do it again and the loot will change until you get what you want. If you do that you can make like 200k an hour depending on spawn luck
It is better but I wanted to focus on the early strategy as more people can do It. 😊
Is it just me or these farming methods will get old very fast since we're playing a singleplayer game? Without some min/max, I could just gather around 100k gold and reached Volcanic Camp at level 15. Much faster to use the 400% xp bonus from medusa bow to just kill regular enemies for 2k or bosses for 20+k xp.
Not everyone is an archer or warfarer.

10k gold is all you spend and many other players can all get 10k from your pawn individually. So essentially dd2 just discovered inflation
Its insane. Incant get the cyclops to spawn. I gought them there on numerous ocasions during my playthrough. Now. Nothing. Neither side. 0. Doesnt matter how often i "rest until morning"

Hmm works for me. Alternatively you can do the oggre that spawns by the canyon behind the fireplace near the forest cyclopse spawn point. It’s the path you can take at first towards Harve .

@@user-ey4ik3sb3u Yh it's annoying with that said it kinda works now I say kinda because the cyclops won't spawn however the ogre does in the forest. Bit of a pain In the ass tho as the majority of 10k pawn quests are for the cyclops you gotta look a bit more for those 10k ogre quests but then again I am lvl 30 higher levels most likely have alot more 10k rewards.

3 to 8 days you need to rest to respond them sometimes two weeks but I gotten it on my 5th rest
All bosses respawn every 7 days

It works like your lantern after you equip it. Then you just aim the beam
Sadly gold is not too important late game. The name of the game then is Wyrm Crystals, since all the best armors and weapons are purchased that way. Gold comes in the hundreds of thousands just by playing the game, and no weapon you buy with gold is worth this grind. Still a great method for quick gold!

Do pawn quest drain you for 10k each times it's completed if you did the quest
I can’t tell you if many people complete it but personally I have 2 accounts on ps and a quest on one pawn for one simple thing that can be obtained in any town for 10k and I can stupidly buy and restock venders and then trade with pawn dismiss them and summon them again Gand so on basically maid 500k in 30-40 mins today and on account that suggested that trade I only lost 10k
Or you can get a friends pawn to set a quest as receive an arrow for 12 oynx and sell a stack off 99 for 236,000 gold

Im having trouble with ferrystones.
if I have 2 pawns with the same quest, i.e defeat an ogre, I noticed only one of them will have completed the quest, not the two of them, I need to find another ogre for that other pawn. Is it a bug on my end or intentional?
For me I always get credits for both at the same time (also shown in the intro). Look at the type of boss each lists . There are multiple (for example griffon is different than grand griffon)

How does giving 10k from your gold to pawn quests help you? I dont get that.
it's not....but if you do it and everybody does it we print money....let me explain. you put 10k for your pawn quest and you dont rest in a bed for a long time. during that time every other player who took your pawn will get 10k. if 10 players took your pawn they all get 10k. you paid 10k but you offer 100K. if we all do that we all gona be rich cause 20k everytime you change the 2 secondary pawn is worth :) BUT if you are the only one to do that you just lose/print money for the community :)

Thief is better 4 traveling fasting, not warrior, lol, all u have to do is hit light melee and R1. Repeat that and ur good to go, plus u dont have to worry about burning stamina.

Yes comes out what your carrying
it does. But you're making so much of it back . You only give it once though. So if 50 players use your pawn for it, you still only ever give 10k (or whichever reward you put)
Fruit selling is much more quicker than the crystals I believe.
nah its way faster for the crystals, but much easier to do the fruit at lower levels
fruit selling is extremely tedious though, takes like 1hr straight of resting and buying fruit assuming you have the proper setup for it.
Also I found out last night it gets destroyed once you it a certain question for the village melve. Now I can't even buy anything from there
The fruit method with melve can also be scrapped if you progress certain quest lines too much. Which is my predicament lol
