Trying to figure out how to put 2 loops on one end, I was thinking make a long loop and folding it back on itself then splice through the fold effectively giving 2 equal length loops but not sure if this would work. I'm using Dyneema SK99 Can you help?
Yes you are right in asking this query. The brimmed splice what had seen is different from the Brummel Lock splice. This splice is just buried long and stitched perpendicular box type and finished . For mooring larger vessels , the splice needs to be locked ,otherwise one can't take a chance . Especially while positioni😮ng the vessel using springs at the terminal ,the splicing should be locked and spliced to be safe . This is my idea and as per my experience on ships. Be safe and avoid accidents. 🙏
@@bernardrajandomnic3868 A locked brummel gives you the same protection' although someone could easily pull out the brummel. It will not come out by itself, though. th-cam.com/video/buZypu8LP5g/w-d-xo.html

Is this stronger than the Brummel splice?

Are you trying to say you've had comments about your little Provincetown mustache? Other than that, great tutorial. Nice splice.
For a real brainiac splice, do a proper single braid splice. 😊
