  • This is Anycubic's new FDM 3D printer called Kobra. Anycubic has released two new fdm 3d printers, Kobra and Kobra max. That one is Anycubic's Kobra model you see and it’s one of my favorite 3d printers these days.
    Official website: bit.ly/3NP1o5D
    Anycubic Kobra offers many features at an affordable price. PEI spring steel magnetic sheet, LevIQ 25 points precision bed leveling and Integrated direct drive Titan Aero extruder for easy flex materials(TPU Filament) printing. Kobra has almost everything. It has been released in a complete, upgraded design. In this video, I tried to review Anycubic Kobra in detail, hope it'll useful.

      You using cura? Could you give me some help. Mine doesn't seem to print well. Pla is my filament and I'm getting weird blobs occasionally throughout the build. Seems to always happen at a certain height. I've checked all axes are tight and roll smoothly.
      Thanks.

    Hello,
    My nozzle leaks prior to printing. I tried to change the temp and tweak the extruder hoping it would slow down the leak or stop but it did not work. I bought anycubic kobra 2 days ago and I’ve had this issue since the first print. I looked the problem up and it says it might be due to poor assembly. Is that true? Please let me know if you know. I’m debating if I should return it or not.
    Thank you

    So we bought this printer, and it's making an awful sound when it turns on and it eventually stops. All my prints are coming out terribly. We've tried adjusting the belts, tried adjusting the tension on the filament loader to no avail, we keep getting awful prints that keep stringing out. In one case, it looked like it was skipping layers in one place and the machine thought it was done with that section and left it as it and moved on to a different section (which it printed perfectly). I've contacted Anycubic, but they claim it's just the motherboard fan giving issues and this is why we are having this problem. They seem to not want me to send it back to them, as they keep insisting to send the fan. I keep trying to tell them I think it was damaged in shipment. I'm at a loss. :(
    I really don't know what to do at this point. Perhaps my tension is too loose? Hard? Who knows. I've checked Cura over and over and nothing stands out. Ive checked the model, nothing stands out. Im honestly pretty upset over this. Any thoughts?

    • @edwardleyco9880
      @edwardleyco9880 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to make sure your eccentric wheels are aren't loose nor is it too tight. The eccentric nut on the print head should just be tight enough that it doesn't wobble and that the wheels don't roll with your finger. The bed eccentric nuts should also be tight it enough that it doesn't wobble. Make sure your z offset is on point. If it's too high your prints won't stick easily. If it's too low and close, it won't release it as well. I think a good baseline right out of the box is about -0.9 to -1.0 in my experience. Another factor is temperature, make sure the fan is off on the first layer and that the bed temperature is dependent on your material ex: PLA is 55-65°C and PETG is 80°C for the bed.
      In regards to slicers, try using Ideamaker instead of Cura. Ideamaker has a set profile for the AC Kobra already

      @@edwardleyco9880 Thank you for the tips, but it turns out that a stepper motor was to blame? We contacted Anycubic (several times) and we have now sent back the printer as it was defective to the address they provided us. We are still currently awaiting a refund at this point - as they are now claiming the warehouse has not received the product (I have tracking proof it was delivered and signed for). We thankfully went through PayPal to purchase and have now opened up a fraud case against them for a refund.

      @@Swerewolf typical. Why I hate all this. My prints arent that great either. Wishing now that I'd purchased the Ender 3 v2 or even a Pursa... I'm on vacation so I'll probably return mine once I get back. One good thing about AMAZON even though I'm no fan of that company either.

    • @Swerewolf
      @Swerewolf ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChristopherF_1971 I had to fight like hell to return mine. Anycubic kept giving me issues. We finally got it returned, but we had to pay shipping up front and they said they would reimburse. So I took it to UPS, shipped it, it cost me $81. Guess what, they said they could only refund up to $50. It took over 3 weeks to get my money back and still lost money over the shipping. Never again. And I will advise everyone to NOT buy from Anycubic ever at this point. Customer service is trash, the products are defective, and trying to get *all* of your money back is like pulling teeth.

    Everything you've said about the bed, excluding the paper to finish the z calibration, was not done by Anycubic. Prusa did it a long time ago, and I'm not sure if they did it first either. Prusa is, of course, open source, so taking design items from them is perfectly fine. Prusa, however, ends their calibration by printing a pattern on the bed while you use the knob to adjust the z height. And you can repeat that process until you're happy. (If you do this, use a light filament to do it, it's much easier!)
    This printer looks nice, and if I was looking for my first printer, this would be on my list of ones I'd be looking at.

    I really wish printer companies would stop using ribbon cables on motion systems. They're not intended to move. They *will* wear out, and a lot faster than normal wiring. And if just one connection inside the cable breaks, you have to replace the whole cable, which is wasteful.

    Don't buy this printer, parts are good but for the PSU which is a very low budget power unit. My new Kobra comes with a failing PSU, still waiting the part after 2 months. If you don't know what to buy, buy something you could easily find parts, so, not from China like the Kobra. Poor electronic design.

      It certainly isn't, plus the fact it really doesn't have it's own slicer profile sucks for beginners. You can use Cuba with Anycubic's customFFF but those prints look horrible imo. I've tried using the Ender3 gcode as tutorials have stated with this anycubic kobra and still get poor prints. They are usable for the most part but just sloppy printing. Tried damn near everything. All seem tight no wobbles on any axes. I'm using a decent PLA that worked well in my XYZ before it blow up last month. Wasn't worth trying to fix a 2014 XYX enclosed printer It only printed pla and ABS anyway and 8bit system was super slow. It was a great machine back in 2014 though.
