Of all the trucks you show I am glad I bought a Landslide and a Shredder, also a Hosim dual motor 9125, and rebuilt my Kyosho Burns DX as brushless. I think the Landslide and Shredder are the new formula Red Cat is following for parts interchange and ease of repair.
They are doing their own thing from here on out and continue what they started with the Gen 8 line. Good things to come from them here soon! Landslide and shredder should be around a while though

I wish redcat would choose a battery connector style and stick with it! Seems different vehicles and different generations all have different connectors. Would save some soldering work for me! Lol
yeah the went from banana to deans which I like and they are going from deans to xt90 on their larger electronics now too! Most hated the banana and denas is much more common so i don't feel it will change in the 1/10 and 4S trucks again unless something better or more common takse over in the next few years
My Blackout may be a fluke but it has been bashed hard and still holding together except those links popping off .I think once I replace them with aluminum it will be all but invincible
no, then they will stretch out and need to be popped on more often. The aluminum knuckles fix the weak knuckle issue for sure but those links for tie rod and steering get stressed on the ends more i found. Still a decent truck... liked my Blackouts... just not the best Redcat has!

Can anyone tell me what kind of stearing hop ups are available for the tr mt10e looking to fully upgrade everything so any kind of info will be appreciated.
Steering difference you can notice would be the aluminum hub/knuckles and pivot balls. They are pricey but also move responsive and turn smoother then the plastic ones.
What weight and brand or type of oil would you run?
Type ia not a huge deal but 50-70wt on the shocks and 60-80k in f/r diffs
Hey I need the drive shaft pins for my dukono pro. Can you help?
I have the cva sets that come with them but i don't even see a cva repair kit like I do with the MT10E, however I question if that one or the T10 one would work as they LOOK the same. I assume you only need the pin?
Correct, I replaced the plastic hubs with aluminum ones and lost two of the 4 pins in the process somehow.
i will have to call them and see if they have the option of just the pins, or the size at least
What type of ESC could I buy to exchange with the one on the truck
the best value would be a Hex10 120amp. It is a Hobbywing branded one as well.

Just bought a Dukono Pro and wish I had seen this video before, or I would have bought the MT10E. Can the MT10E wheels fit on the Dukono Pro?
They're 12 mm on the Dunno but you can get 14 mm hexes that hook up just like 12 mm ones do and make them fit

never clocked this one but from it like counterpart, the Volcano with a 3300kv also, I would say 36-38 on 2S and 46-48 on 3s

Yes, i will run it until he upgrades come out and then upgrade it and probably sell it from there as I mentioned, it would get no regular usage in my collection but I will do it for the truck and viewers!

we were going local in 2020 with a track/shop/rental site in MD about March of 2020 but the property fell through since we couldn't build an outdoor dirt track on the land. Then covid happened. It was the best thing that could have happened... the property falling through, that is.
Would have lost alot of money from start up with all that went on with businesses early on.
We are going to continue the effort but only after we are sure we will not have another surge or more restrictions to deal with. Hoping mid 2022 to be looking again.
We are online only but i do sell some stuff locally to a few and sell out of my PC shop as well, which took a hit itself with the lockdown.
@@NPCRC i ask because i too am attempting to start up and im not able to get distrobution without a physical location. I an starting conversations locally but its tough to get business plan written not knowing costs of inventory so i can project profit. Id love to converse with you if u have any ideas that could help me out.
@@mikeblankumsee4668 Yeah I dealt with that as well but I had my PC shop that I set up with a bunch of inventory for some pictures when I was 1st really starting to expand. Red cat let me get in before I have our own place as as an online seller but I know they have shied away from that over the years.. Some of the places I had to do photos to them showing them my store front which I just put some of my banners Up in the window And set some stuff up inside Around my counter with some other banners and things to make it look like more than it was. My business name was already no problems computer before I started the hobby business so it was not too hard to make it look legit did. But it gave me access to a bunch more product
@@mikeblankumsee4668 I also have some small guys that flip these in their neighborhoods, small shops and flea markets that buy some in bulk and I give them great bulk prices. As little as 4 trucks or more at a time is all i ask from them.

The 10BL60 can run 3s all day and night...The bumper is made to bend like that.
i know it is made to flex but it is how easy it flexes and how flimsy it was, in comparison. The blackout has a flimsy one too and I know how that story ends! I also agree it CAN run 3S as i mentioned but there are circumstances that i also mentioned like high grass, up gearing and mud running that can factor in that and cause the esc to fail. The Terremoto 10 had a 60 amp when it released and the gearing, tires and terrain proved to be too much. They had to go to the 80amp as I had done it and tested it to prove to them it was the better fit! I am sure it is fine for certain setups though!
Any ESC will burn up in tall grass or when over geared..The Terremoto is bigger and heavier than this rig..Not trying to argue with you but telling people that the ESC will blow but you haven't even driven it yet? The guy at my hobby shop has been bashing his on 3s from day one..No heating issuse..I have the same ESC in my Bronto(volcano pro) no problems on 3s..Cheers.
But you are saying what I also said, so i am not arguing either, just pointing out that i mentioned all of that and the fact that it can do it stock, with those possible exceptions.
This rig runs good on 3s period..you haven't even driven it yet..lol..get out there and run it bro
i will but as a dealer i have directed 2 customers to Redcat warranty already that were running 3S and we have narrowed down to ESC.. So I ONLY mentioned that in the video because there are 20+ others that never contacted me about it and I assume are fine, or handled it on their own. I felt like throwing the possibility in there that people would be less upset when it did happen or at least not being shocked!
Hey I was wondering your thoughts on the R5 disaster. It looked like such a cool truck but they dropped the ball big time on that truck. It killed me as a Redcat fan as it gave all the haters (traxxas fanboys) the ammo to laugh and make them a joke. They had been making such good progress. I'm even skeptical of these 3 300$ trucks they came out with as they kinda seem a little weak. I'd like to get one and try it out tho. I hope they revamp the R5 and take care of the QC issues.
Well i won't call it a disaster. A couple guys had issues with the grub screws and some other screws coming loose under the 8S power! I think what they did, recalling and refunded, was excellent to offer over the examples set by Arrma with the old BLX esc's and the Traxxas Xmaxx Esc's that were catching fire or the early drivetrain issues that has led to some of the added versions of the Arrma's. They broke protocol on this and did not wait for "X" amount of claims before they reacted. I am sure what they do to it will address the issues it had as i doubt they would want the added recall and production money to go to waste
And for the laughter, Traxxas is still selling models with plastic CV's and only changed it on the premium models to keep up with Arrma and Redcat. The Terremoto 10 is the cause of the Stamped and Rustler 2wd price drop a couple years ago. They were killing selling them for $259.99 but after the T10 suit and them re doing it, they knew the 3S 1/10 4x4 was going to come RTR for $259.99 so they dropped it to compete! They also took note of some of the stuff Redcat/Team magic did with the BE6S and added body cladding to their bodies as they do a great job protecting the body! Fanboys may laft but that is because they are blinded by love and all else suck.. Remind them of the fact that neither company did a recall when a great percentage were catching fire! This wasn;t even a hazzard issue and it was recalled!
I have NO CLUE what the hell you are talking about. I have NEVER had ANY threat from Traxxas, EVER. I am out of the V1 Kits and have had a huge issue getting them. The last time I got some I didn't even get enough to fill the requested ones I already had waiting when they came.. I cleaned them out and have been waiting for over 4 months for more. I said NO untruths about the R5. I had NO complaints from the ones I have sold although I DID have one guy reach out to me today wanting to do the recall in fear of having an issue (was running on 6S though, not 8S). I am not "butt hurt" about Traxxas at all! I am an old Traxxas fanboy.. until I wasn't! I can say things about their plastic shafts, weak plastic or overpricing because I LIVED it for 6 years when I ONLY bought Traxxas! T10 has nothing to do with anything and you seem angry yourself about something! Sorry you read to deep into my reply but i do speak from experience and currently have the E-Revo, Mini e-Revo and Slash! Thats where I speak from , not false thoughts and fantasies! Sounded like a good story though! No Traxxas hate here that wasn't justified by my experience with their trucks.. to be clear!
What? Please what am i exposed by? You say Traxxas threatened me with a lawsuit? It never happened.. I would admit that if it did as it would be no big deal being that I am aware of the lawsuit with Redcat! Never happened.. What ever that does to "expose me" is beyond me.. I am exposed as what? Not liking Traxxas? Again.. my own expierience with Traxxas was enough to do that! I DO like their products, especially the newer models, as they addressed some old issues with 2 of my old models, the E-Revo and Rustler. But the Shitty battery trays are still the same on the E-revo and that was a large letdown again but it is a nice truck that they made changes to keep up with the times! I sell and support and even recommend some Traxxas based on customer needs or wants. Sorry but you are wrong and to be honest, I don't care ! It doesn't mean anything to me that you think you know something... as I mentioned that I would not be scared to admit it if it were true. I DID have a conversation with Redcat about the kits and them telling me that they can't support me if something did come up with me selling kits for them... but I kept them up until they sold out and was going to rename the kit when i relist it (which i still plan on doing if i ever get them again) and take the V1 out of it! That is the ONLY conversation I have EVER had with anyone on the topic and that was with my Redcat people, not Traxxas and was not a threat or ultimatum! SO get your facts straight.. I have explained way more then i feel you deserve but as I say, i have nothing to hide and no outside hatred for Traxxas in general!
LOL.. OK, you are just a troll as your profile pic suggests so your opinion means NOTHING to me! IF i were threatened lawsuit, i would IMAGINE they would have made me take down my V1 install video... would they not? I guess if I ever get them back in stock, you will be able to see them then under Ramsoon Dual Servo Kit on my site! That is the only change I will make.. They are BSD parts not Redcat so I have no issue selling them as I am not selling Redcats WITH the V1 Kit installed, which was something I looked into after my conversation with Redcat! The parts are already being sold to the US and are scattered on ebay as well. I am not breaking any rules selling them that I am aware of and never have spoke with a sole from Traxxas in regards to the kits... EVER. What is your trollish goal here? The SC10E is better then the Slash as far as out the box speed capabilities on the stock motor because Traxxas threatened me on selling an item that I made $20-30 bucks selling as a kit and could only get 5-9 kits at one time? Man the money I have lost over these kits... I tell ya! I have lost ZERO dollars over them cause I sell all the ones I get... need 5 more to fill orders as it is. The ONLY reason I still get them at all is because I have people ask me for them. Not worth the stock time, wait time and hassle for so little return after shipping and fee's!

I have nothing to hide and you heard wrong. You probably know a guy who is butt hurt named Kyle... He was mad at me because we figured these kits out together and I brought them in as he was not a dealer at the time... He never did get over that! Hell you may even BE Kyle...lol Still did nothing to him/you and still never spoke or have been threatened by Traxxas in anyway!

This truck is 3s???
The motor can handle 3s and even Redcat themselves said the ESC should handle the 3s. I've ran it twice on 3s and I still have to take it back for a third run. I just don't get into the smaller trucks anymore and kind of put that truck to the side but I've been meaning to finish my video that I started on it. It's a nice truck for the money but I would probably still recommend the landslide as being an overall better purchase in the Redcat collection for around the same amount of money, 270- 280 depending on location, but then you get a larger vehicle with thicker Parts, more durable Parts bigger motor and more ground clearance. Unless you're looking for a 1/10, they're really is no comparison. I even put that Landslide up as one of the top trucks on the market for that price range. Definitely put it above the arm of 4S collection and the granite which are the closest ones to it from a Haier company. Nothing in Traxxas can compare for that price range, overall

That's called a steering servo. That's very common for RTR servos to go. You can get stronger ones (20kg) on Amazon for 15-20$

I had one and sold it before i ran it as Redcat was out of them and i had someone that wanted one. They have a recall out currently on it for screws coming loose and the drive cup grubs. The 8S appears to have been too much. This is more for precaution and to keep from having the truck get a bad wrap like the mt10e did with the drive cup grub and axles on the first releases. I will do an unboxing and more after the revisions come out
