  • So, in a jam with no spares on hand for the Dukono, I find that the Volcano parts are mostly compatible! More to come on that in the next video as well!

    Thanks for the video. Just bought these links for mine. I’m having troubles finding videos about this kit. Are there other parts that are interchangeable with other Redcats? I’ll take any ideas you have. Thanks a ton!!!👍

      Not that I am aware of. The Volcano is also a HSP product which is why some Dukono parts are the same and others fit.

    Dang. I totally need to do this to mine. Right after I replace those stupid drive shaft pins.

    I upgraded my brushed System to brushless, 80amp esc with a 5200kv motor. It’s making a little bit of a grinding noise when on low throttle, driving faster there’s no issues it’s when I’m first trying to move forward it grinds and I’m trying to figure out what the hell is it since the truck is new. I know it’s not the pinion I adjusted quite a few times still same issue, when I rotate it with my hands no issues. When I rotate the wheels no noise either. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m only running it on 2s also. Can you please help?

      what pinion? Sensorless motors tend to have a slight lag on low throttle, more when being upgeared

    You can totally eliminate those stupid turnbuckles on the rear hub by putting a regular rear hub on from probably the Volcano. Then you will never have that issue again. I get it.. Redcat wanting to use less unique parts. But seriously.. putting a front steering knuckle on the rear of an RC is just asking for headaches. IE Traxxas Revo/Summit Those stupid extra links in the rear always break. The front ones don't because the servo saver has give. Where as the chassis in the rear does not.

      I actually tried that right after shooting this video. I was looking at what else would fit and what it would take!!!

      Not yet, i see some aluminum parts listed and they are the same factory as the Rampage, Lightning and Volcano's so it is a good chance they will but just not positive until they all come in and get pics up

      I seen that also, I may purchase the metal servo saver. Do you know if the pinion and spur gear metal in the dukono not the pro

      I’m getting a 4400kb brushless with an 80amp esc. With 2s lipo for now. Anything else I should upgrade while I’m at it? Should I upgrade the 6kg servo also?

    • @NPCRC
      @NPCRC  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mohamedkhan5207 15KG would be good cheap upgrade for $18 .. I also have the Savox 0231 for $30 and better ones from there.. Both would be huge improvement over the 6kg
