No problem at all! Thank you for watching! Interesting, might be a common issue on these. Mine may have threaded anyways without being chased, but I figured why risk damaging it further if I already have a tap/die set? Thanks again for your support.
No problem at all. Right there with you, hate having to go to the dealer for warranty fixes. Always a hassle for the owner and always hassle to have somebody pick you up and drop you off.
Hey man! You know what I don’t know which coolant it’s supposed to be. As you’ve stated mine has green coolant in it but I’ve heard others say it’s supposed to have something else technically. Sorry I’m not more help on this one, don’t want to tell you wrong!
@@ridewithKY I recently tried a few pounds more, like the results. Turns in easier, stays leaned better, and more stable at speed. Next ride going to try 35psi. Stock is 29/29.
Since it’s a 2022 then I would just take that into the dealer for warranty. Overheating could be something simple like a thermostat or something catastrophic like a head gasket which the engines are known for. Either way I would take that to the dealer immediately.
I haven’t. It’s too much trouble for me to have to make an appointment, drop the bike off, and then pick it back up. Of course if anything catastrophic happens then that’s a different story, but for a small issue like this, I try to just tackle it. Thanks for watching.
As always thank you for these videos. And super thanks for that tap size. I had trouble with that very exact bolt on a 2020 model.

I put a tiny bit of plumbers tape on mine when i noticed the cap wasn't sitting right. Fixed it right up.
Interesting idea. Thanks for sharing, that may help somebody else down the road. Or… if mine starts leaking again lol.
i watch u from india bro u do good work. I appreciate it
I really appreciate you watching and for the positive feedback. I am doing my best to offer solid and reliable information.
Thank you for the support!
Thank you so much, saved me from sending it back to the dealer👍

@@antisocialGoonso what coolant did you go with?
@@UnderestimatedA1 i haven’t flushed it 🤣 i’ll probably jus go with the manufacturers or engine ice tbh
@@antisocialGoonI'm just going to add some m3.0 to mine. Why would you flush it and not just add some ?
Same
Hey KY, off topic, but what sort of tire pressures are you running?
I just run whatever is recommended by the manufacturer. Also running original tires.
Thanks.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give it a shot at my next opportunity.
Cheers KY!
I need some help with my 2022 vitpilen and I have over heating and I get a engine light could it be a Thermalstate

👍
Have you tried making a warranty claim?

My dealer fixed my svart during the first service. Said there was air. Hasn't leaked since. Knock on wood.
Awesome, glad it was a quick and easy fix!
No wonder!
