I'd definitely get them for this bike - that is the world's most vulnerable radiator. Dropping your bike and scratching a case is whatever, but cracking open the radiator is a day ending scenario.
You might need to see if any Australian or New Zealand retailers will do international shipping, I couldn't spot any UK retailers looking online. eBay might be the go!
Oh damn, yea the older style indicators aren't much to look at generally. Might be able to find a set of the LEDs online to fit from a crashed bike, or someone upgrading though.
Probably not necessary, especially if you check them regularly. I normally tighten, check a couple of times after the install after some decent rides then forget. It's just a little insurance in my mind. And I've got like four different bottles of loctite lol...
Great video. I've got the same bike. I noticed you don't have the standard mickey mouse mirrors. Can I ask what you have, and where did you get them? Cheers. Keep up the good work
Yea I swapped them out for those 'Tarmac Raptor' mirrors which were cheap and look significantly better. They vibrate quite a bit however! I've got a video on the way on them. For the price it's hard to complain I think they were $50 or $60 from memory.
They should as the 125 runs the same engine support bracket, and they are listed as fitting the 200 Duke, which as far as I'm aware runs the same chassis as the 125/200/390/401s.
Yea they should offer some decent protection! It's not bad, although the quickshifter can't hold a candle to that on my sister's 390 ADV, which is significantly smoother/better.
@@1990-t1j It's weird on the ADV, I'd have said you're better using the quickshift than regular shifting, as it's smoother, where the 401 is the opposite. But I think the 401 is closer to the Duke/RC in how it's setup.

Hate to think what one would cost too!
Cheers. Slapping mine on tomorrow
Thanks for your video mate! It’s my first bike and as a mech end I love that you are using a torque wrench and loctite
Hi, I live in the UK. Where can you purchase these Oggy Knobbs frame protectors?

For the Algoh
The bike is looking good! I wish my 401 had the sleek signals yours does. Mine came with the floppy ugly amber stalks for us spec.. :L

Is locktite necessary as the oem ones don’t use it? I torqued mine to spec without locktite and check the bolts routinely.

Hi mate. Do you know if these fit the Svartpilen 125?
Asking from the UK.
Cheers.

Great-looking bike. I prefer it to my 390. Is the gearbox smooth? Substantial crash bungs.

@@MotoJournoKris No quickshifter on my 390, but the gearchange is so smooth.
