It’s a good idea. It lets me start it in 1st gear however with the clutch in. It’s when you start it in neutral and then try to kick it in 1st or 2nd it will die. Thank you for the suggestion.

This information is completely incorrect. Older panigale’s had plastic water pump gears. The water pump itself was not plastic. V4’s never had a plastic water pump or plastic gears. They have had various revisions, the latest being in 2021. Those revisions were to address leaking/weeping issues, not catastrophic failure of the water pump. Totally inaccurate information you’ve provided…

Thank you! Yes the can did start getting some color after some time. It doesn't get as rich of a gold as the header, but the color change did happen.

The cell count for the catalytic converter is really low so that's why there are fumes. I've personally never even seen a catalytic converter with that few cells in it until now. I agree with the popping, I do not like it either. It wasn't an option with Vcyclenut, but maybe it's something he can change in the future. Thank you, take care.

Thank you for the compliment! Supersport would be fine. It's a Ducati and they are pretty fast. Of course they are overshadowed by the Panigale series, however, if you want something a little more comfortable and not as aggressive then the Supersport is a good option. It's light enough to where it won't be a big deal performing low speed maneuvers for a beginner. As with any motorcycle; be responsible and don't do dumb stuff. If you refrain from making poor decisions, you will be fine.

The Kelpi is a lot louder than stock. It does come with a DB killer, so you could use that to reduce some of the sound, however, DB killers are generally pretty restrictive. Overall if your concern is volume and you don't want it too loud then I would look elsewhere for an exhaust. Maybe if Akra has something? Akra's are generally pretty quiet.

Can’t argue with you there. These Aprilia V4’s don’t even sound like a motorcycle engine. Sounds like a GTP car from the 90’s. 🔥.

Aesthetically I still haven’t gotten used to the latest Panigale. I’m thinking maybe if I see it in person my mind will change but so far in photos I do not like the redesign at all. Performance wise I have no doubt it will be better, but part of the Ducati experience is the aesthetic in my mind. CBR RRR is a good one but also just doesn’t really do it for me.

@jimbostewart1969 the V2 has an Austin Racing exhaust. I’ve heard most of the common V2 exhausts available and the Austin Racing easily sounds the best, however, it is pretty loud.

It started as a Sachsenring black 23' RSV4.
