Just stumbled upon your channel thanks to the Aprilia RSV4 video! I picked up myself a Aprilia Tuono. Your insights on buying new bikes are super helpful. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you build out that Streetfighter V4-it's going to be awesome! Keep up the great work!
If your credit score isnt great and/or cash isn’t involved, I’m pretty sure that plays a major factor. I wanted the SS for fun and to ride around town. I put down cash and paid $15,000 out the door. Tax, title, plates, gap insurance, dealership fees all included. Full insurance at $40 a month. I ended up selling it right before 10,000 miles because I wasn’t going to pay the DESMO and wanted to upgrade to a V2 because I wanted to ride more aggressively than what the SS could do. You did a great break down of everything. I definitely do those things on every vehicle I buy. Even my Brand New Ford F-150 XL Sport was $40,000 out the door. Easily a $60,000 truck, but had a ton of incentives because it was the last model. For Ducati, there will be a ton of incentives since the new models are here and are replacing nearly every model across the board.
I would agree regarding poor credit score and low cash reserves. I would say though, if you have bad credit and no cash reserve, should you really be in a motorcycle dealership? Probably not...
Glad you found this video helpful and are enjoying the channel! Oh yeah, 3 pedals is the only way to have an Aston. 👊🏽. Thank you so much for the support!
Gret video as always.... my strategy is MSRP out the door, not a penny more, that is a fair deal 99% of the time. I dont care what are the prep fees, or any other fees, MSRP out the door, yes or no, if no, you will not see ma again.
Great video. Good call on the MD Panigale. Last I heard you can’t buy a new bike in another state and register it in CA. You can buy a bike in CA and register it in another state. I believe the rule doesn’t apply if it’s a used bike with over 1500 miles or so. I know it makes no sense but CA has very specific rules.
You actually can, it's just that it has to be CA emissions compliant. What this means is it has to have a California emissions sticker on it somewhere. If it does not, then the bike has to have over 7500 miles on it to be considered a "used motorcycle" in which the emissions compliance is waived,
Interesting video. How would you approach the R9 with a "set price" lol. In my mind I feel like there wouldn't really be a way to get a dealership to do a discount. But i dont know yet. Im gonna drop a deposit on one in about a week or two. I mean I'll definitely try to see if something could be worked out tho. What do you think
Anything that’s a new release is going to be harder to get a discount on. If you are willing to wait then the tides turn in your favor. Discount or not, I would make sure to be aware of dealership fees. Even if the sell price is the same across the dealerships, the fee structure will vary greatly.
@TheOriginalJadolph this is wrong… the XSR900 you see in some of my videos, got about an 11-12% discount on that one. We could have gotten more off but time was not on our side, for a few reasons we had to make the acquisition basically in a week’s time. Brand doesn’t matter. I’ve used this same methodology to buy bikes as cheap as $5500 MSRP all the way up to $25K msrp. I’ve also used these techniques to buy cars.
can you also do a video on used? i have no credit and best i can do for a bike is “in-house finance “ but i have to pay 75% down. i’m looking at an 05 GIXXER 600 for 4800 but it has a bonded title(the only way the dealer does in-house finance)
I can. Used is a lot more complicated. What I've found with anything used is to just look at the used motorcycle classifieds every single day until you find the bike you want at the price you want. I would say used it's more about getting a bike in safe condition more than focusing just on the price.
@ that is my biggest concern so far is buying used and it being in safe condition. the shop i’m getting it from says it had 1-2 owners and it’s completely stocked from 2005
Being completely stock is a big bonus. You should be able to look up the title history for the bike and make sure it’s only had 1-2 owners. Not that big of a deal if it’s more owners, but it’s a good way to make sure the dealer is telling the truth.
You probably already know but Motoclub SM is now Motoclub LA. I met the guys down there this past summer. Really nice team and very knowledgeable about all things Aprilia. I don’t know what their fees are, but I would have no apprehension about purchasing from them.
If you are looking for an Aprilia Motoclub LA is the place to go. Highly knowledgable, good prices, and just an all around solid group of enthusiasts that care about their customers. Link below to the owner Victor showing some love to my Tuono1100 Factory that I purchased from them last year. He has a lot of great Aprilia content on his page. Good luck, RSV4 is a fantastic machine. th-cam.com/video/bh1JocjQ7jg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=n5yQGRcyBBTq6-5p

Thank you for the support! Tuono is a great bike, love how it's a naked but still has some wind protection and some fairings.

Got my 23 Panigale V4 from Elk Grove Power Sports at a great price while all other local dealers wanted to put me on a waiting list.
Yes sir. Good dudes at EGPS.
Super helpful video. Great content on your channel and I have serious garage envy! Lets see more of that Aston with the proper gear box, great ride!

This is just what I needed right now😊

I dont think this will work on Hondas or Yamaha’s bc they are already priced so low. Ducati can get away with it because the margin is so high.
@TheOriginalJadolph ahh ok. Makes sense. Thanks

When you looked into shipping, what firm did you look into handling that process?
HaulBikes is what was recommended to me from the dealership in Maryland.
Thanks

Thank you, for the video. I'm looking at the Rsv4, any thoughts about Moto Club Santa Monica?

@@kwatt404 appreciate the info! Good to hear a confirmation of my experience from someone who actually purchased from them. Enjoy that Tuono 1100F.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
This would have been nice a week ago but it’s ok.
Haha sorry man.
