Hey loved the video, there's only one doubt I have with it. When you measured the slack there was slack on the top too, so does it need to have slack and if so how much slack?
The factory manual only mentioned slack measurement at the bottom, I'm assuming it's because according to the manual you should lift your rear wheel to do this maintenance work, and if the rear wheel is lifted the it will naturally tense up the upper chain slack once you start applying force to the bottom of the chain.
@@danisetien7466 I took it off since it wiggles too much, I've been using a different dampener for the past few months, you can check out my instagram for details @blackarrowjimmy
I've tried this without torque wrench once, but I rode very conservatively on my way back and properly torqued it again when I had access to the tools.
Hi there, just clicked on the video to leave a comment but when you measure the 5-7mm do you do it from the lip of the swingarm or the slightly higher spot behind the lip?
That's exactly the level of detail that I needed. Thank you very much!
So happy you did this for this specific bike, really easy to follow, thank you!
Thanks so much. I was stranded and had basic tools but was able to get the tension right.
Glad to hear that bro🤜🤜
Thanks for the easy guide dude. I've got the same bike with the same yellow trim. Heck yeah!
Great video, thank you. I'm mechanically inept and need videos to this level of detail.
Glad to help!
Cheers, Jimmy! Your videos are fantastic. Much respect!
You'll need a 12 gauge autoloader, 45 longslide, with laser sighting, phased plasma rifle in the 40 Watt range, and a Uzi 9 mm.
This was s helpful. The manual instructions are written so dryly its so nice to have someone actually do it. Thank you so much.
Glad to help! I'll be doing more maintenance DIY videos like this for the 401, next up: oil change👍
Great video, thanks for delivering the specific info needed brother!
Thanks for the info. Keep up the good work 🔥🔥
very good video for beginner riders and svartpilen riders (probably vitpilen aswell). i'm both, so thank you! 😅
Glad to help! I'm a beginner too so this is more of an experience sharing than tutorial
Very well done and helpful video!
Pd: I'm also a Jimmy and a Svart401 owner hehe
hahaha more of us and less of them!

Did you install a vibration dampener too?

Don't have a tourqe wrench for the 90nm can I still do it

I measure from the lip👍
You're saying 19 or 90 nm? Sounds like 19
It's 90nm according to the owner's manual
