- It's time to start the serious (but also very daunting) work on the P6. I've been putting it off but sometimes you have to just start, and the jobs all fall into place. Getting the car back home was the easy bit (thanks to Nathan at NBT Transportation as always)
Removing the front panel and everything around it, we'll soon have the P6 solid and straight again, but I have to admit its a bit mad seeing a P6 taken this far back.
As always, thanks for watching and don't forget you can also follow me on Instagram!

I can understand why you didn’t wanna take the engine out, personally I would’ve, as leaving the timing gear exposed like that isn’t a good idea, but at least cover it up while you’re cutting and grinding, but make sure whatever you cover it with is clean and non flammable, but one of many reasons with a job like this it’s best to remove the engine and it makes measuring easier and gives better access to be able to weld the new panels in, I’ve over 40 years experience in crash repairs, sometimes you have to bite the bullet.😉 best of luck, I hope it goes well👍
The cup of tea at 7:38 😎😎
Got to love a brew. Keeps the UK working. 😄
Always an exciting day when the hacksaw comes out 🤣But good progress👍
I cut the bit out where I had an axe in my hand...didn't think it was appropriate!
Yeah it's no crime to be comfortable and in the right position for doing jobs like on a thick rubber mat or stool.
Kills my knees on the concrete for hours. Had that kneeling mat for ages now and it really helps.
Good progress mate and will be worth all your graft it’s a lovely P6, Another enjoyable video thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you! That's what I keep telling myself, it'll be worth it when it's done!
"Right up to the accident!" 😅🤸😀🤸😅🤸😀
I realised how it sounded afterwards. 🤣😂
