The 2022 Indian presidential election is scheduled by the election commission of India. This video explains the president election process in India. The current president Sri Ram Nath Kovind is completing his five-year term. The president of India is elected by the electoral college which contains the elected member of parliaments of Lok sabha and Rajya sabha and the elected MLA of state legislative assemblies and Union territories. They vote according to the preferential system of election with the single transferable vote. The single transferable vote system is also explained in this video. This video will give you an insight into the 2022 Indian presidential election and the president election process in India.
